My personal opinion is VCA is running a business and has little concern for your pet besides how much you can be charged during each visit but appears to be more concerned with how much money the can get you out of your pocket. We took our puppy there initially, but after CONSTANTLY being pushed into trying to get more from us we went elsewhere. You NEED to have your puppy neutered and it is ONLY $350 tight now, when would you like to make an appointment?", "You are going to take away YEARS from your new family member unless you get him neutered!" Is VCA trying to scare the patients? We came back to VCA recently when our current Vet performed the state tests but did not have brand of heartworm meds we wanted. We reluctantly returned with to VCA with test results and prescription in hand. VCA stated that they could not sell us the heartworm unless we paid for an office visit. You can decide what you want to do and you are entitled to your opinion, but ours is to steer clear from VCA unless they change their business practices. THANKS!

I recently adopted our first family pet from the animal shelter. I wasnt sure of what Vet I should take him to or what kind of experience I would have. I saw a write up in the pet magazine about this hospital so I decided I would try them. It was about a 30 minute drive but I went anyway. I am so happy that I did. This hospital was amazing, they treated our Andrew as if he was the most important little thing there, Ive never experienced anything like it. The vet was very friendly and knowledgeable and no question was considered a "foolish question." I will continue to make that drive because I know that he is in good hands. I love the staff at this hospital, they are friendly and they even do follow up calls.

I was so grateful for all the folks in the office the day after Memorial Day. I hadnt bothered to find a vet for my cat in the ten years Ive lived here, so when he got sick on Thursday before Memorial Day, I was seriously worried. By the time we got to come in on Tuesday, I was an Old Maid Cat Lady wreck, and Jeremiah just wouldnt be his annoying self. The whole staff was super supportive (even though I really should have taken Jeremiah to the end of the street in the first ten years). I liked the way they gave me choices on treatment and costs up front and didnt push guilt. We will definitely return, and highly recommend this Animal Hospital!

I brought my 10 week old puppy there without an actual appointment. They still were able to fit me in that day and i barley had to wait. Dr. J. Burk is an excellent vet who truly cares about animals. He was very informative and was able to rid my puppie of all his fleas and parasites for a NORMAL price. The negative post are unrealistic and if your animals are important to you and they are sick then youll pay the dr. who went to school for 8 years to be able to save your animals life. Overall this is a great place to take your animals and a excellent Vet!

Ive been taking my animals here for a couple years and just lately have had been having issues with a newly hired receptionist, she wont give any advise other than stating "put it in a pet carrier" then got the vibe of lady I dont give a rats ass if you have to smell cat poop for the hour trip, just put it in a carrier. Then I was told I would get a call back from a vet tech and that never happened. Go to a different veterinary office or If you really want a VCA location, try Howell Branch.

I just brought my 7 year old dog in today for the first time and I am very pleased with Dr. Krampotich. She really cares and seems to instantly love your pet. She was gentle and caring with my dog who is in pain from knee problems. Even the front desk woman seemed so loving and happy, and this was all at 5:00pm people, they actually squeezed me in an hour before they closed. All in all I am very happy with my new vet, I had second thoughts about switching vets but I am sooooo glad I did.

Just got back from this vet and Im sure I will never go back. Their prices are twice what pet alliance is and they give services without telling you they are changing. I have NEVER had a vet charge for a nail trimming. These guys just try to find ways to make money off of you dont waste your time. They cant even communicate their prices properly. Go to pet alliance they are non profit and they cost half.

I took my cat here and all I ended up with was a 520 dollar estimate. ( they treated this visit like a mechanic would )They dont care about the animals just about how much money they can collect. I left there with NO answer on what was wrong with my cat. They want to treat him for everything that could possibly be wrong, instead of trying to determine the cause of his illness. Horrible place to go!

After a blood test and x ray, they told me my dog had a UTI and only needed a simple round of antibiotics. I left my dog of 10 years over night because I trusted them. Turns out the doctor could not be any more wrong because my dog was suffering from kidney failure. She passed away the next morning without us by her side. I would never recommend this hospital. Wish I could give them 0 stars.

I am a veterinary professional myself and there are very few people I would entrust with my many dogs but Dr. K and Dr. Burke both make the short list! They are wonderful with my animals and both extremely personable. Special shout out to receptionist Gaby who is not only the sweetest but also totally on top of things at all times!

I brought my 12 week puppy here to get checked out because I adopted her from the human society, and they treated me and my puppy with great care and were SUPER nice to me the whole time and they were able to cure my puppy of all her conditions, it may not be cheap but you are helping to save a life. Dr. J. Burk, DVM is the BEST!

Wonderful place. Always take care of my pets. I could write a huge review on everything they do right. One thing that stands out are all the little things that they do, like writing welcome in the rooms with your pets name or how excited they are to see your pet when they havent seen them in a while. Would recommend 100%

Nice place but they charge too much. They are always running behind and see walk-ins over their appointments. I always spend about an hour and a half here when I have an appointment and 30-45 minutes to pick meds after calling them in. Dr. K is nice but wish their prices would come down and they would hurry up.

My cat got a fishhook----of all things---in his mouth. They immediately took him in, sedated him and removed the darn thing...gave him medication. The total was $265.00....You couldnt have found a cheaper vet that acted that quickly. I am so pleased with the Dr. Burk----he is truly a professional!
