Took my newly adopted cat here because she was sick and the vet that treated my old cat did not have an immediate appointment. This vet came highly recommended by family members. The vet and tech on the first visit were pleasant and prescribed an antibiotic. It did nothing and the cat remained ill. I took my cat in a few days later and she had a fever. She was also sneezing and I saw a worm on her, which I thought might indicate fleas. They told us they found no evidence of worms and she would have to have an x-ray. They said the she did not have pneumonia and prescribed more antibiotics. This visit cost $237.57. A week later, my cat was showing no improvement. They prescribed more antibiotics and said they would have to keep trying medicines to see what took. They also charged for another xray. This visit cost $160.41. These medicines also did nothing except make my cat FOAM FROM THE MOUTH. Also, at that visit, the tech told my husband that the instructions were on the box when he was asking how to administer her nose drops. Finally, when he went to check out, Erin told him he could not use my cats pet insurance because I did not bring in a card. When I called to inquire, Erin said he misunderstood and my insurance was expired and she didnt know if I was going to renew it or not. I asked for her manager to call me and immediately emailed the insurance card (and you could see on the email where I sent it to their email three time in the past). Her manager called me back and said she apologized and would correct my bill but didnt sound sorry at all. Today my cat is STILL sick. I called at 9:00 AM and asked that all her records be faxed to my old vet and all future appointments be cancelled and provided the number to the vet. The girl who answered did not even ask why we were changing vets or how my cat is doing. When my cat went to the old vet today, at 4:30, the Lake Underhill vet had not sent over her records (or if they did, they were not received). My cat had a fever of 105 at the vet today. They immediately ordered blood work, gave her a shot and said she had fleas. They were reassuring and said they would fix her up and have blood results tomorrow. They also gave her eye drops. We have mentioned her cloudy eyes at all her appointments and nothing was suggested at Lake Underhill. I am very disappointed in this vet. I paid a lot of money for nothing and the customer service from Erin, the vet tech who told us to read the box and the person who did not fax the records today...unacceptable! I believe an apology that is sincere and a refund is owed.

Fantastic Vets. I wish the people answering the phones in a time of an emergency were on the same sheet of music. When I had a problem with my chow on Nov. 23, 2016 I new it was close to closing (6:15 p.m.) and I called in. I told the lady I new it was close to closing and asked the lady if she would still be able to see me and my kid. I was told to come on in. When I got there, I introduced myself and explained I called ahead of time. I was told: 1) One person had a pet that got into a dog fight 2) they only had a tech on duty and there was not much they could do. Dr. Dan, I have seen you and your staff do so much better in the past 4 years. If they have a problem seeing me as it gets close to closing and you do not have available staff to see Michael,, could your staff let me know ahead of time? I know how to see the 24 hour vets office when you are closed. I need the staff to be honest and truthful. One wasted trip and one " I could care less" receptionist did not go over very well last night.

I want to start making a point to leave reviews when things are wonderful, and this is really a great vet. Weve seen a couple different vets on different visits, and each person has been friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Wait times are always manageable. My Trifexis refills are always quick and without incident. We like to take our two Aussies in for the "spa package," which is super cheap for all of the services. From memory, I believe your dogs get a bath, groom, teeth cleaning, and anal gland expression (necessary!!!) for 20 bucks a dog. Great deal. We added our female Aussie to the family as a pup around a year and a half ago, and she was spayed here. The process was easy and I felt very comfortable trusting my girl with the folks here. I will say that some of the procedures/visits seem expensive when compared to other vets, but its worth it for the service and expertise that you get. Truly the most experienced people in the area.

Unfortunately the staff there isnt knowledgeable at all. I wanted to import my cat to Europe and instead of telling me that they had no idea about the whole process (which was the case) and giving me the chance to inform myself, they kept stressing me out by telling me how crucial it is to fill out the papers correctly and at the same time made one mistake after the other. One of the woman at the front desk couldnt even copy my address right when it was lying right in front of her. She had to redo it 3 (!) times. The only one who helped me was the woman at the USDA, who couldnt believe herself how little they cared to get the right information. At the end of the day I had to pay an extra 120$ for their mistakes because I had to pay double. They didnt even offer an apology. Never before have I experienced such a thing. Imagine you bring your pet there when its really ill and needs help! A Nightmare! Never, never again.

I spent thousands of dollars at one particular vet concerned about my pup. Every summer she had a rash on her belly and her pup paws. In winter she had black junk in her ears and she gained a lot of weight. I was running her, using creams and oral meds that my vet recommended and after a year of countless visits, I decided to do my own research as well as researching a new vet which brought me to Lake Underhill Animal Hospital. In one visit, the doctor diagnosed Bailey with hypothyroid & recommended a specific dog food because it was apparent she had skin allergies. Two years later, Bailey is thriving and I am the happiest pup mom on the planet. I love this vet and even as I have moved across town, I will still go there because it is what is best for my dog.

I absolutely love Lake Underhill Animal Hospital! The facility is impressive and the staff is extremely kind, caring and knowledgeable! I have 2 very curious dogs and for all of my weird and unusual pet owing experiences I have encountered with my pups I can trust that my babies will be properly diagnosed and treated accordingly. I love the doctors! They arent pushy with products but I have found any medical suggestions offered to be very helpful. Not the most inexpensive but definitely fair priced. They also have a loyalty program and a referral bonus. This Animal Hospital is my go to for annual visits and emergency assistance; however they are also super accessible via phone for my "quick questions" that happen more often than not.
