Doesnt deserve a full star but the application insists on one. This was my gals appointment. Where to start? First, they sent us to the wrong facility in the Manchester Parkade. We werent alone. We saw 2 other appointments complain to the apathetic clerk about being misdirected there also. The facility is old and poorly maintained. The elevator is more of a horror ride, right down to the muted ("dink!") mechanical bell indicating the passing of a floor. Its not nostalgic, its decrepit. Look up at the lights in the ceiling and you can see years of crud behind the diffuser glass. The waiting room is like the stage setting for one of those blindfolded febreeze commercials. An exercise in the disgustingly filthy with the furniture horribly worn and damaged. I sat down in an easy chair and got swallowed into the collapsed seat...next move was to a padded chair that (I think) was once white. There was enough of other peoples DNA stained into the seat to convict OJ. I felt like I needed a tetanus shot just to look at it. I settled on one of the old hotel dining room chairs that dominated the decor. The fish tank in the office was overgrown with green algae and had a 2-inch wide crusty brown evaporation line around the water level. If this is any indication of the standards of cleanliness in the procedure rooms, I recommend a week long regimen of antibiotics prior to your appointment. The wait was 30 minutes past our appointment time (grrr....). Evidently, they use multiple rooms on that floor as the staff slammed and pounded through the office doors, stomping through the waiting room such that the rickety floor was bouncing, while simultaneously barking out their communications to other staff members between rooms and through the walls, acting as if there were no people in the waiting room, in pain or nervous about their impending interaction with these clods. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, absolutely filthy. RUN AWAY!!!

Where to start?! I went to the Parkade Plaza office to have my wisdom teeth removed. My nurse had an attitude with me and was condescending. She couldnt even use the equipment that reads my heart rate correctly and had to switch to another machine and it only worked because another nurse had to come and do it. When I finally met the doctor, he didnt even introduce himself to me with his name. When I woke up from surgery, I was being wheeled out to my boyfriends car. They gave him no instructions or any details as to how the procedure went. They rushed me out of there way too fast which is concerning. Now a couple days later, I am experiencing A LOT OF PAIN and extreme swelling so I called the office to get advice. All the lady had to say was that everything is normal and wouldnt let me speak to a doctor. She also informed me to take an 800 miligram ibuprofen that I never even got the prescription for, which is INSANE because that specific script was for swelling. I was told I was supposed to take that during the day and my pain meds at night. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.. I wish I would have known how much this place sucks because I would have went somewhere else. Overall, this has been a completely miserable experience and I dont think the staff actually care about their patients.

They were great - staff was helpful and friendly - the doctor was nice and let me know my options for saving the tooth I had broke - the front waiting room was closed off enough and secure enough that I felt fine leaving my girls to watch the tv and look at the fish tank while I went back - the xrays and exam were under $100! (I have no insurance) And it was after 7pm so after calling on a holiday weekend and the "regular"dental place were closed my sister in law said I had a fever and to go to ER or emergency dentist (she is an RN) - Glad I did since I was feeling better after 2 days because of antibiotics ---- So happy with the service I will be going back to get the rest of the family the cleanings etc as well - I think the reviews are sometimes bad because of previous experiences with dentists and also we all know that when in pain and all its easy to be annoyed and angry - Even when the people are just trying to help you --- Do go if you need to - They were helpful kind and no sales pressure to get the root canal vs extraction - just said its always better to save a tooth - That kind of help for a reasonable price and able to be seen immediately - what more can you ask for? jk

Everyone never go to this dentist. I have been going to this place for a long time around five years. I had fillings done that kept falling out. I kept wasting gas traveling only to see five different dentists. They are not consistent with the same dentist. They tell you a variety of diagnoses for treatment. I had two crowns put into my teeth. Now I am having gun issues and pain and discomfort. I also have bone loss which Ive never had. They work roughly on you as if youre a mannequin and not a patient. You have to actually ask questions for answers to treatment because of their poor communication. Fillings are no good there. They did not complete my two root canals well. One may have to be redone over because of the discomfort Im having. I refuse to go back. I had eight extractions done over my lifetime, and cannot afford to lose anymore teeth over mistreatment and unprofessional staff. I had four wisdom teeth removed and the other four for orthodontic treatment in a previous office. Take your dental treatments elsewhere people. Do not deal with what Ive been through there. I am having more issues than ever before. People do not go here if you want perfect results.

I am currently in immense pain due to the start of a root canal I found out was never recorded in my chart there. I went back many times for help only to be given multiple scripts for antibiotics with a GAPING whole in my tooth. Having this huge hole from the procedure that was never even charted made my life a living hell. I finally got in with a woman dentist and was told dr hacker I mean holder no longer worked there!! The woman who looked at my tooth refused to help me and then told me to go see yet another dentist all the way in hartford to finish the root canal... I do not want to go all the way to hartford to see another dentist who may refuse to help me like she did. Please stay far away from this practice. My teeth are destroyed. This root canal would never be necessary if I hadnt had improper fillings done at this place a year prior to this nightmare :(( now I will have to pray I find a good dentist who can fix all the teeth they touched and hope I wont need implants on all of them... Im only 29 I shouldnt be going through this...

Yesterday, my daughter and I did not experience a very good visit all because of one dental hygienist. It was apparent that she does not adhere to the mission statement, which is "to make every single patient feel like a member of our dental family." Not only did she lack respect for her colleagues but to the patients as well. Once we left the office and pulled into my driveway my daughter then decides to tell me about what the hygienist called her. I was completely appalled. I then drove back to the office to complain about her. Needless-to-say, I will be expecting a personal apology from her to my daughter. I made sure they put on her records that she is NOT to be working on my daughter and me, again. I dont normally write reviews but because her actions were completely disrespectful and unprofessional I wanted to share my story to ensure that type of behavior is not tolerated. I decided not to share her name because I didnt want to stoop as low as she did. The rest of the team in the office were great!
