Dr. Steven Balloch is simply the best. When I moved to Glastonbury from Lexington, KY, I was very concerned about finding a new dentist. Ive had lots of work done over my lifetime, and I know how important it is. My new periodontist, Dr. Ernest P. Spira, recommended Dr. Balloch so I scheduled an appointment with him. When I walked into the office, I was impressed by the attractive decor, fresh flowers, complimentary coffee and pastries, and plaques representing Dr. Ballochs many awards lining the walls. Not only was Dr. Balloch, himself, welcoming, friendly, comforting and knowledgeable about the latest in dentistry, but so was every person in his office--not one sour face or impatient manner in the house. He proceeded with the most comprehensive, high-tech exam Id ever had, and I knew I had hit the jackpot. Ten years later I am still singing his praises. Dr.Ballochs administrative staff, his associate Dr. Darcy Kasner, and all their co-workers treat every patient as a VIP, greeting you by your first name, offering the TV remote, a blanket or warm moist towel, even a hot paraffin hand treatment if you like. What I am most thankful for is Dr. Ballochs painless (yes, painless) shots. He simply will not hurt a patient. He builds in extra time for each appointment so he can sit patiently and inject the novacain a little at a time without any jabbing or poking. Mercifully, you dont feel a thing. He also offers sleep dentistry which Ive had twice for very long procedures and highly recommend. I recently completed a major restoration involving 6 upper front crowns and a bridge. Dr. Balloch would not accept anything less than perfection, and I now have a beautiful smile for the first time in my life. Yes, the cost is high for such top-quality dental care, but bargain dentistry can be even more costly in the long run, possibly resulting in life-long pain or other disasters. Thank you, Dr. Balloch, for making one of my dreams come true by being the expert, the artist, and the caring person that you are. When I count my blessings, you are at the top of the list.

I have been a patient of Dr. Balloch since 1997. I was in need of a Cosmetic Dentist to fix my teeth (which were very small and spaced) and create a smile for me that would last a lifetime. It is very rare to find such a perfectionist as Dr. Balloch. He was very particular in the manner in which he was going to deal with my personal situation and everything that he described made perfect sense to me. I trusted his ability to do what he felt was best for me. I believed in his reputation and could tell just by his demeanor that he was a true professional and an expert at his craft. In 2005 we started the procedure of reinventing my teeth structure and creating the smile that I had always dreamed about. The work that he accomplished was Gold Medal Award Winning and rightfully so. For the past 9 years (because of Dr. Balloch) I have been able to smile in public with confidence and assurance that it was money well spent for something that is very important to me. I am an Executive Chef in the Hartford area and I have a very high profile position with members of an elite, private country club. I am in the dining room on all occasions speaking with the members and making sure that their dining experience is the best it can be. I approach every table with confidence and I receive many compliments about how wonderful my smile is and how happy it makes the members feel to see me smile. Congratulations Dr. Balloch. Two years ago roughly I wrote a review on Dr Balloch, since then I have written no more than a two or three reviews on other establishments, so to find myself back here, not writing reviews often unless deserved, please use my review as the gospel of dentistry. Needless to say another 5/6 star review was needed. Even having an issue over the weekend, Dr Balloch went out of his way to meet me on a day off an help someone in need. I once again walked out just after a short time, on a Saturday morning non the less, with no techs present, he was able to perform the procedure solo, and looking just as good with a temporary as the original. As always thank you for being a stand up person committed to your practice. 2 years ago, I wrote: No money better spent then being able to improve your smile in my opinion. Finding any dentist is easy, just look in the yellow pages. Finding the right cosmetic dentist and the best at that is the hard part. Dr Balloch fits that mold to the tee, exceeded my expectations tenfold and was every penny worth the investment. His exceptional expertise and attention to detail changed my smile forever and further increased my confidence. Thank you!

After receiving botched veneer work from a previous dentist, two days later I found myself googling "veneer specialists in CT" and came across Dr. Ballochs name. I first spoke with Shelby over the phone, who is an absolute sweetheart, and she assured me that they could get me right in for a second opinion. From that point forward, I have been blown away by the unparalleled level of talent and professionalism that Dr. Balloch, Dr. Lomke and each member of their team exhibits. During the consultation, they explained to me in great detail the proper technique that was necessary to go about correcting the work that was already done, and why they needed to do so. My primary dentist throughout this experience was Dr. Lomke, who is relatively new to the practice but not at all lacking in the quality and talent that Dr. Balloch represents. Dr. Lomke meticulously crafted a smile for me that I can finally say I am confident in and over the top happy with. The difference in the before and after a photos that they took is unbelievable. I truly do not believe that my teeth could look any more perfect! Truly defines going above and beyond, I couldnt ever thank them enough!!!

Having been a licensed clinical social worker, I recognize in others everything from excellence to mediocrity, professionals notwithstanding. Dr. Balloch is the quintessential professional, a dentist who is a perfectionist, innovative, highly skilled, exceptional, caring, concerned, and, second to none. He is interactive throughout the procedure, explaining the process, and what to expect, so there are no surprises. Recently, I had a lengthy procedure, and Dr. Balloch personally called to follow up. His staff is a delight! Since I have had cosmetic as well as restorative dentistry performed, I had the opportunity to interact with the entire staff.p, including those at the front desk. They are personable, courteous, always calling the patient by first name, and knowledgeable about all aspects of their work. I am satisfied beyond words to have chosen this practice for my dental needs. Thanks to Dr. Balloch, dentist phobia, for me, is nonexistent. I have been a patient of Dr Balloch for almost 10 years now. I cannot imagine that there is a higher level of doctor in terms of his detail, compassion and bedside manner. I came to Dr Balloch’s office after having a bad experience with another dental office and Dr Balloch listen to my concerns, assessed my current situation, suggested a course of action (with options) and I never looked back. Working with a wedding date deadline, Dr Balloch adjusted his schedule to complete my dental work in time for the wedding. For that alone – I will forever be in his debt. The results were dramatic and I look in the mirror each day - even after 6 years - still extremely happy with my smile and the work he completed. My advice to anyone contemplating dental cosmetic surgery - Just do it. The confidence that you will gain is immeasurable. Your only regret is not doing it sooner. – There are many cosmetic doctors around - look no further than Dr Balloch. Dr Balloch – As corny as it sounds, you changed my life for the better.
