My daughter needed a lot of dental treatment and I had taken her to other dentists who specialize in children but she needed sedation and the cost was crazy and outsourced by other dentists. Dr. Crippen promoted that he has an anesthesiologist come to his office and the entire sedation is done at his office in his own mini-surgery center. I have never encountered such a professional and caring experience. He told me that he would care for my daughter like she was his own and he did exactly that. My daughter is happy, all of her treatment was done totally painless and his price was less than half of going to an offsite surgery center. His constant contact, before, during and after the treatment was phenomenal. I cannot imagine using any other pediatric dentist.

Great staff--friendly and knowledgeable! My daughter and I had an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend them. Edit: I have been happy with this office from the get go, but my admiration has grown over time. I have been taking my kids there for almost 6 years. This week they were able to perform a full exam and cleaning on my squirmy almost 2 year old boy without a tear or a peep (this is the kid who cries every night when we brush his teeth!). My older two children always look forward to going and regularly ask when their next appointment is. They have TVs on the wall and ceiling for the kids to watch during their exam, provide sunglasses to protect their eyes from the light, and give them prizes and balloons at the end.

This pediatric office is amazing. I am in the dental field and have high expectations for my own childrens dental care. We have been seeing him for a couple years now. My older two kids are 14 and 15, they love seeing him. His assistants are great with kids. My 6 year old loves to get her teeth clean, especially since she gets a sugar free sucker and the end of her visit like the book we read. My one year old will also be seeing him very soon. I wish I would of found him years ago for my older two. We drive from Elk Grove to see him. I would recommend his office to everyone!

My two boys have been going here over a year and we love the office, the staff and espeically Dr. Crippen. They are great with kids and really make them feel comfortable. I have one son that gets very nervous and Dr. Crippen makes him feel very relaxed, at his last visit my son actually said he loved the dentist, when has a kid ever said that! All the procedures are fully explained as well as the costs - parking is easy and validated. All around, just a great place! I wish they took adults!

I was a little apprehensive about the location (I dont like downtown) but they are right off the freeway with a parking garage next door. Getting back on the freeway was just as easy. The staff was friendly and the office was clean. I am picky about offices and cant stand a crowded, dirty waiting room. Capital Pediatric Dentistry is just what I was looking for! The kids LOVE having movies to watch while having their teeth cleaned. They had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

Awesome practice. Highly recommended. Minimal wait time, friendly staff, clean office, efficient. We searched around and went to a few family dentists before deciding to try a pediatric office. This was the first but Ive officially stopped searching. We have two little guys, 2 and 6. Only my six year old had to have work done. In the last two months Ive been 4 times--1 cleaning each and two procedures. Dont have one complaint! Well be going here for years to come.

Taking my children to Dr. Crippens office is always a positive experience. This practice cares about the comfort and experience of their patients. It is clear they are building positive mindset about the dentist and oral hygiene from a very young age. Id refer friends to them for sure.

Excellent bedside manner, clear instructions, took the time to explain what was needed to maintain a healthy mouth, and of the utmost importance was gentle/kind with my child. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone with kids.
