If I could give 0 stars, I would have but I will explain later. So I needed to go to Centra Care because my fiancé was sick with a bug. I have been to Centra Care before, so I thought nothing of selecting another location since my local one didnt have an appointment available. Boy, was I wrong. Before arriving, I pre-registered online and made an appointment. I also filled out some forms online, but upon arrival, I was told they didnt receive them. No big deal, we got there a few minutes early, filled out the forms, and paid our co-pay. We were given no receipt. After a fairly short wait, my fiancé had her name called and I said to the nurse "Hello, how are you?" but she completely ignored me and said "please step on the scale". After this, she directed my fiancé to go get her vitals taken. Now, being a nurse, you think she would know how to treat patients who arent feeling well, but she just had a horrible attitude from the get go. She asked my fiancé for her height and she didnt know it off the top of her head. As she was looking up the information, the nurse said "Well, it is your job to know" with a tone to her voice. This was uncalled for. The final straw was when she was taking a swab from my fiancés nose to test for the flu. I guess the nurse did it a little rough and it upset my fiancé. At this point my fiancé was crying and the nurse directed us to a room. My fiancé took a little longer to get up because she was crying and not feeling well and the nurse said "Even children get that test done". What was the point of saying that? Was she implying that my fiancé was worse than a child? Honestly, this was seriously unprofessional of the nurse to say these things. Finally, we get to the room and I notice the sink had no paper towels near it. I alert the nurse and she comes back and tosses a pack of paper towels on the counter and doesnt even bother to load the dispenser. At least she had the courtesy to bring tissues in for my fiancé. The only redeeming factor of the visit was when the doctor arrived. The doctor was very kind and able to let us know exactly what was wrong with my fiancé and the steps she needed to take to get better. The doctor was even able to assist us when we got to the pharmacy and there was an issue with a prescription. This is the only reason I felt they deserved one star. Other than that, I seriously think that management needs to retrain the staff. I can only imagine the number of patients that have to deal with attitudes from the nurses. These people are paying customers after all and even if you are having a bad day, it is your RESPONSIBILITY to treat each patient with respect. What would have happened if the nurse was dealing with someone who was hard at hearing or what would have happened if I wasnt there to answer questions when my fiancé hesitated? I can only imagine. I will NEVER be returning to this location ever again and would rather drive 2 hours away than have to deal with the staff here. If you are in need of care, go to any location but this one. Too long, Didnt Read: Doctor is amazing but the nurses ruin any sense of "care" you get from this Centra Care location.

I have to agree with the individual before me. Check in staff is very friendly, apart from that there is nothing except disappointment. I came to this clinic with extreme pain in my jaw and behind my last molar. I had been in a LOT of pain for about a week before I decided to seek treatment. After waiting 3 hours, the doctor came in and told me I had a mouth ulcer. Wait, what. I had been in extreme pain, she gave me some magic mouthwash and told me to follow up with a primary care DOCTOR if I wasnt better in a week. After yet another night of no sleep my husband suggested I call a dentist, for some reason, in all my pain I hadnt even considered it might be tooth related. The next day I went to the dentist and he immediately identified it as a dental abscess I was immediately started on antibiotics and painkillers, had I followed their doctors advice who knows how far the infection may gone. When I spoke with Linda Hill, in regards to the return of the $211 I wasted there, Her response was and I quote "we are not dentists". That is ridiculous, a doctor who cant spot a dental infection: I wasnt asking for a filling or a cleaning but the proper diagnosis of a textbook dental abscess. The doctor never suggested I see a dentist, at the least a medical professional should be able to make a proper recommendation. I am beyond upset, Centra Care wasted 3 hours of my time and $211 dollars of my money. Then I was forced to be spoken down to by their risk and compliance manager. I wasnt trying to launch a lawsuit I simply think the refund of the money they took for a service not rendered should be returned, and I think that Linda Hill should be a given crash course on how to speak to people without patronizing or being blatantly rude to them.

While going to any doctor for anything other than a well check isnt much fun, I was thoroughly pleased with coming here. From reception to getting my vitals to my actual visit with a doctor, everyone was great. They were polite, thorough, and nice. They were more than happy to ease my nerves and discomfort with the procedure by allowing me to hold the nurses hand while also conversing with me to calm my nerves. The doctor (Dr. Mancero) was very efficient and helpful and I didnt feel rushed. Thank you for all of the assistance and the jovial attitudes everyone had, even though I kept you late. *Update* I have since come back for 2 follow up visits. Once again, I was seen within an hour of walking in, and Dr. Mancero was efficient and happy to see me. She was thorough and swift with the visit. I really like her because shes easy to talk to and didnt rush things even though there were several other patients also waiting to be seen. My 2nd visit, I met Dr. To. He also was quick to see me and thorough in the examination. He was very patient with listening to my concerns, as well as making me laugh when I was nervous. He has a nice, calming aura. As I said in my original post, seeing doctors can sometimes be nerve wrecking. However, both Dr. Mancero and Dr. To made me feel comfortable and at ease. I really want the doctors and staff to know that they are doing a wonderful job and if the need ever arises, I WILL return here. Thank you once again for seeing me and being wonderful at your jobs.

I had a decent experience with my initial visit. I made an appointment for first thing in the morning, and I hardly waited in the waiting room area. It was fine. The Dr. (Dr. Mancero) was fantastic. I actually really liked her. I thought she did a fantastic job, and made me very comfortable. She even answered a few questions about some unrelated things to my reason for the visit. I felt she took her time with me, and was not rushed at all. It was a good visit, I was treated for what ailed me. The nurse that checked me in took a urine sample to be sent to their lab. She marked on the canister where to fill too, and I did as requested. A week later I called and was immediately placed on hold. I know they are always busy so I found that to be understandable. What was completely awful was the hold was for over 20 minutes. I was never spoken too during that time or reassured. Finally someone picked up. Without any words to me, I could just hear distant noise in the background the phone was slammed back down. They disconnected me. Furious I called back. Finally I am connected with another nurse that told me they had no results, and that the sample I gave was not enough. The sample I was told to fill to a line marked by their nurse. If you can make it to another Urgent Care/Centra Care center I urge you to. The baboons that run the phones are just about as bad as it gets. But clearly they nursing staff have no clue as to what they are doing either. Sorry Dr. Mancero, I really liked you.
