I wanted to give this company zero stars, but you have to give at least one star to post. Our experience with Homestead was a nightmare. The management is horrible. My father requires 24/7 care. We had no shows with employees quitting prior to a shift. We had things mysteriously missing from the condo. The last straw was when a midnight employee let in another person in the middle of the night. My father who is alert and oriented, said they were mean to him, didnt give him his early morning meds and left him soiled in his bed all night. I called Homestead furious demanding to talk to the owner. They NEVER bothered to look into the situation or apologize. The owner NEVER bothered to contact me. NOTHING!! UNBELIEVABLE. I can go on about other incidents but I wont. Do your homework!!! Then they contacted us and told us they were resigning from our case giving us 2 weeks to find 24/7 care. I find this extremely suspicious as they know they are guilty of something when handling our case. Thank God they "dismissed" us because now weve found a great company with excellent customer service. When I told the owner of the new company what Homestead did to our family, she was in tears. Please please please beware!!

My first experience with homestead was when my wife was in the memory care unit. I lived in an apartment and my wife lived in memory care. I Could not adequately take care of her on my own. Memory care at the time was run by Homestead. We were together every day for 5 years. Hospice took over, until she passed. I really appreciated all that Homestead did to make the transition respectable, compassionate and the staff always made me a part of the equation and helped me as a family member as much as they helped my wife.

They go above and beyond and develop personal relationships with each client and their family members, creating a beautiful version of an extended family. They give their clients and their families peace of mind, knowing that they are being taken care of even when they are away. Great company who provides a much needed service! Keep up the good work.

Working for Homestead is very disappointing to so many of the past & present employees. Too much employee churn that hints at a toxic boss & culture there @ Homestead Home Health Care @ HFV. Respect for other people is limited & office staff is impossible to please, mostly. Hours are not that great for so many, not full-time for many that requested it. Hours for some employees are often unpredictable from week to week!

Horrible Management at HFV within the office and very unprofessional.. Office Shows favoritism towards employees who has been employed there longer than others as well as family members who is employed to management. Hours are very unpredictable and they find any and every reason not to give you a raise after your 90 days.. Horrible Staff but a nice place to work in..

Called me for an interview, the guy I was interviewing with couldnt make it had a phone interview and leaves you hanging. They dont care they have a job probably just trying to get a tax break so it looks like they are hiring. Useless company if they treat people who are looking for a job that way how do they treat the patients! NO Thanks!

Because an employee is no longer with Homestead, doesnt mean they weret compassionate or caring, to the contrary, the overwhelming turnover rate is due mostly to employees wanting a better work enviornment, with administration, transparency, mutual respect and dignity, not lie upon lie....humiliation and incompetence!
