***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR PRIVATE DUTY NURSING, ESPECIALLY PEDIATRICS!!!!*** My daughter receives Private Duty Nursing from Centria. She has received it since December 2015. We have had nothing but problems with this company. To start, when the client service manager called me to tell me about the initial interview of the nursing coming into my home, they gave me the wrong name and overall not much information about her. Secondly, when she arrived, she did not have company identification. Upon our start with this company, we were receiving 1500 respite hours from the state of Michigan. When I spoke with Jessica, our client service manager at that time, she told me not to worry about it and the hours and that the extension authorization had been completed and approved. Fast forward to February, Jessica called me and told me to send my nurse home immediately, as the extension of hours had not been approved. My daughter was very ill at this time, resulting in my calling Lansing and begging them for help (something that Centria shouldve done). Centria has never taken any ownership for any of their mistakes. Because of the the fact that they did not disclose to us the correct number of hours that my daughter had been approved for, we lost hours from the state authorization because we had been understaffed. When I had my hearing with the state, Centria was not present, neither did they provide an explanation for everything that had occurred. Now, we are still understaffed, they keep sending nurses to my home that are great, but the distance is waaaayyyyy too far for them. I have three children in my home and some of the nurses are not "fond of extra children being in the home." I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!!!! I have more to say, however, we would need days to talk about how HORRIBLE this company is. They also have shorted the nurses in their hours and have misled them immensely.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT The training was very unorganized I felt like it was a waste of my two days. I was called for a ABA tech to assist kiddies and their conditions. I have a BSW and going for my MSW which makes me very educated to know poor organizational skills and customer service. I applied back in June and still no case. Every time I called to obtain a case from the online "case site" the CSM(which you never speak to same person twice) tells me they all are taken. However the CSMs have no problem calling you asking for the wrong person(so rude to call me asking for someone else), or calling you trying to see if you take a case they cannot staff which is always far away. Never in my 32 years of age have I experienced a job so unorganized, and lack in providing a steady employment for their new ABA tech team. I applied for this job for a flexible shift as a student, wife, and mother and was referred by a friend. She applied back in May 2016 still no case for her as well and she was forced to find other employment. I think the CEO, or manager over this operation really need to reach out to all the people like myself who never received a case or people who just went MIA. And ask them why? I am sure we all will have the same story. I felt like it was all too good to be true it so sad because I really wanted to work for the so-call job description that I was given.

This organization is highly unorganized and the professional quality of the CSMs is zilch. I worked here for almost a year and I cant even tell you how many hours I have worked completely for free it was that many. I would contact payroll and all they would say is I need a signed progress note for families I havent worked for in months and tell me if I couldnt get it signed I wouldnt get paid. I know a lot about employee rights and I am pretty sure it is illegal to withhold payment for hours worked. Another thing that I found not so good is that the CSM that you are working with can write you for things that they just thought you Did. They would never ask if an incident happened they would just jump at conclusions and never ask the source.

Its rewarding to work with individuals with ASD. The training is neccessary and you are paid for attending. I worked with Centria in 2015, got accepted to graduate school so I had to take some time off, then was rehired Jan 1, 2017. This is not a 9 to 5 job, your working with the clients hours at their time schedules; however, you have many clients to choose from that meet your schedule. The pay is great, and in my opinion, its biggest reward is that your providing services that can change lives.

This place offered a job to my wife. It is my opinion that they materially withheld information and misled her about the position during the application process and it was not until after she had wasted over a month in correspondence with Centria that it was made clear that the job was not what had been previously discussed or represented. When she turned down the job, they sent her a W-2 for wages that had never been paid (she was never paid at all). This place is incompetent. Stay far, far away.

Had my first phone interview today. Such a joke. The girl kept saying "definately" after each of my answers. Super uncoordinated, unprofessional and awkward. Seems like they threw her on the job out of high school. The job description is not at all what she started describing. This place seems like a scam and after reading these reviews its quite obvious we share the same bad experience.

PAYROLL DOESNT KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING. This is the 5th time payroll has screwed up on my paycheck. Leaving me $100-200 short every week and having me call and complain every week is a hassle. Im not one to get mad, but that is my hard working money, Im a college student and I also need to pay my bills! Please work on this. Bill please talk to your staff.

Interview here. Interviewer was 45 minutes late in meeting with me. Saw a bunch of young employees stacked on top of each other. Never got back to me re. the position. Not well organized, just a money making machine with Autism biz, their main "product" line. IMHO, not a place for quality pt. care, sure Feds will investigate them soon for fraud.
