Have enjoyed seeing Dr. Mize for my annual visit. Unfortunately since going with this new MDVIP program costing guys like me $1,600 a year, it isnt feasible to use Dr. Mize as my primary. I guess this is the future of health care in the US. If you want a good, caring physician, you are expected to pay an unreasonable fee for the privilege to see him/her. Its not that I cant afford the annual $1,600 its that I am a reasonably healthy person who visits the Dr. once/twice a year. What common sense dictates paying these fees on top of normal insurance fees to retain the services of a good Dr. for once/twice annual visit? I am not a burden to my Dr. but enjoy the chit chat about sports etc...... It saddens me I will be part of the weeding out process because I wont pay the exorbitant fees. But..... if you can get it from the other patients..... go for it! The rating is based on perceived value and integrity of Dr. Mize before the insane, selfish money grab.....
