I had previously given Dr Makhlouf a high rating after my initial visit because he was nice to talk to and took his time. Well that visit cost me $200 out of my pocket. He insists on me getting checked every 6 months instead of giving me a years Rx. Plus they wont just do labs so Ive to see the Dr even though Ive no symptoms or changes in my condition. This time I got to see the Nurse practitioner and lab cost me $100 apart from what the insurance paid. Talking to Jennifer in the billing dept was futile as she blamed it on my insurance even though with my other Drs prior to this Ive never paid more than my copay. Looks like Im paying for their brand new office expansions and payroll of people like Jennifer who only repeat the script given to them. Not going back to them ever!

Dr. Makhlouf ROCKS! I have been a patient of Dr. Makhlouf for almost 10 years. I’ve never experienced more personalized service from a more personable physician. I suffer from a chronic disease so when I flare, I can always count on Dr. Makhlouf to either help me get it under control, or to gently nudge me to the ER ;) I initially chose him as my PCP due to his proximity to my home and work, but I stayed because he and his team genuinely care about me and my well-being. Suwanee is a small town, and his practice embodies all of the characteristics of our small town feel. It’s so awesome that it feels like concierge medicine. Don’t change a thing! Tammy Sain

Ive been going to Dr. Makhlouf for years now and am so thankful and grateful for his guidance. In addition to his expertise, he is so kind, thoughtful, has a great bedside manner and truly takes his time unlike other doctors Ive seen in the past. He cares about you as a whole and not just diagnosing what you’re in for that day. An added bonus is that he has great doctors like him to whom he can refer you to. I underwent a major sinus surgery with one of the best ENTs (Dr. Gadlage) all thanks to Dr. Makhloufs insistence that I make an appointment with him. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care doctor.

When we moved to GA, I had a hard time finding a doctor. Finally, I found this place. I havent been more pleased. Dr. Makhlouf is the BEST! He has the BEST bed side manners; as he goes beyond basic tests during exams and last week I received a phone call from him to check on me. Who does that? My Dr.! His staff is great; they are always cheerful and professional. They know all their patients. Moreover, the rooms are always clean and comfortable. I always feel at ease when I visit my Dr. and his staff. If you need a great Dr. who cares about your health, I will definitely share him with you.

I have had many bad experiences at Dr offices to the point I hate going to the Dr. I have been going to Sugarloaf medical for about 3 years now and have always had a good experience. I never have to wait unreasonably past my appointment time, he and all the staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Dr Makhlouf is available and goes way above other Doctors if a need arises. The whole staff respects your time and you as a person. They really care about their patients. I recommend this office to anyone.

Staff great, Dr Makhlouf not interested in health only his bank account. Insisted on me coming in every 3 months for a follow up and a redip into my money and the insurance company. My annual psychical cost me $350.00 plus my insurance company portion. I wanted my blood pressure meds refilled. ( I have been on the same meds for over 12 years). I smell a Money Grubber! Anywho if you need a good old family Doctor keep searching if you have unlimited funds and Obama care this is your doctor!

Dr. Makhlouf and his office staff really do take their time to listen and care for their patients. During my visit I felt that he really took the time to get to know me. I highly recommend Dr. Makhlouf and the Sugarloaf Medical staff to all my friends and family. He is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever had and has become me and my wifes permanent physician! If your looking for a new doctor you can trust, then you should defentily visit Dr. makhloufs office!

This is a great practice that I highly recommend. The facilities, staff and level of care is excellent. Dr. Maklouf was very thorough in his approach to my physical. They also excelled after the appointment when my insurance tried to deny coverage for the office visits. I called to get an explanation of why, Dr. Maklouf returned my call that day and took care of the issue for me in a very professional and gracious manner.

I have been going to Dr. Makhlouf for over 4 yrs. He is the best and is going to make sure he takes care of you. Someone mentioned he is about money and that is ridiculous. We all work for a living so that statement is just not true. His staff is caring and will work with you if you need to make payment arrangement. I highly recommend him!!
