I took a tumble down the stairs and injured my shoulder. I went here because this is the urgent care thats recommended by my job. The Dr. was very rude, THE WHOLE STAFF WAS VERY RUDE!!!! She asked me to lift my arm in several different directions (which was painful) then she said that I might have torn something and may need physical therapy and that she was going to get some x-rays... After waiting for the x-rays at least 30mins (while the Dr. and the x-ray tech were just talking at the desk), they only took x-rays of one side and one location so they didnt have anything to compare. (its my understanding that you can not see a torn anything except bone on an x-ray) The Dr. after looking at the x-ray, which by the way didnt show anything, quickly dismissed me and said that I have arthritis and told me I have to live with it, deal with it and just keep it moving. I said but I fell down the stairs. She said its arthritis and walked out of the room!!!!!!!! Did not suggest anything pain meds or prescribe anything else!!!! Did not even give me paper work stating her findings!!!!! and on top of that they had the nerve to send me a bill. Very shady!!!!!! I was totally upset!!!!! they need to be shut down and or get some knowledgeable and caring Doctors!!!!!!!!!! They actually deserve a negative 4 stars!!!!!!!

Here in Detroit Michigan theres already a stigma about how people act and how they conduct business. This Concentra location is not the worst but definitely the most irritating when it comes to their customer service and delivery in information. Ive been in Detroit for about 5 months and Ive been at this location 3 times for 3 different reasons and every single time there has either been a female at the front desk with an attitude or dealing with a physician who is not completely convincing that they understand what theyre saying. And after the visit your supposed to get a courtesy call and that call is a hot mess because if you have questions about your visit or anything pertaining to what you were seen for, count on them to place you on hold a couple times trying to find information they should already know. Once again they arent the worst but definitely the most irritating. Id rather people with bad attitudes that can give me sufficient Information in a timely manner Vs people with terrible attitudes who also cant give you any info in any type of timely fashion.

This place is terrible....they are extremely slow....if you come here you should expect to spend your whole day here which is ridiculous....and this wait is just to be seen not the overall experience....the staff is standing around talking about irrelevant things that has nothing to do with there job that shouldnt even be talked about at the front desk....the conversations they are having should be held in the back or on there breaks....they have no professionalism at all....they talk to you like you are one of their friends on the street....I will definitely not be coming here again and I would never recommend anybody to come here no matter what U come for

So by reading the other reviews I was literally a little nervous going to this concentra but I just went anyway. Im not sure if maybe you guys went at different times but I went Wednesday, 8/24/16 sometime after 9 . The light skin lady(at front desk) was very professional, told me everything I needed to do/fill out and even answered my questions. The brown skin guy with the glasses was very easy going and professional. He explained everything and I did just that. It was maybe 5 or 6 people there as soon as I arrived and they were getting them in and out. I would recommend this place to anyone.

As far as I am concerned, this is the absolute worse case of medical incompetence I have ever seen and since I have been working in the healthcare field since 1982, that is saying a lot!!!!! The wait time is 2-3 hrs before you even get called in to the back. The med assistant who drew my blood couldnt even put the tourniquet on right and did not take it off before removing the needle!! The doc I saw copped an attitude as soon as she saw I was located in Ohio, even though I was born and raised in MI!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE IF YOU VALUE YOU LIFE!!!!!!!!

Disrespectful women are why us women cant get along, the give us a bad name and thats why we are always look down upon. Get it together and learn how to handle your business. To the manager with the ponytail who works on Jefferson. Service was so bad that my family was able to walk to the store and come back and I was still waiting its sad when your manager is terrible so the whole team is bad the security guard was to busy playing candy crush to do his job. I guess candy crush is the new way to save people in a crisis.

I miss Riverview UC!! Ive tried to be seen for the past 3 days for a sinus infection and couldnt because a PPO physician wasnt working. Location and lobby are pluses but my schedule is too busy to have to track their physicians too. 1 star UPDATE: I tried them a fourth time and was pleased. The staff is nice, the rooms in the back are comfortable and well lit, and my physician was mannerable. (I think I made up a word, but you catch my drift.) I would have given 5 stars, but I still have issue with tracking PPO drs.

The only reason Im giving it a 2 is because the staff who called me into the back was extremely nice & professional. Other than that never had I wasted a whole day in one sitting at an urgent care to do a drug screen for a job. Super crowded with no where to sit, super slow with calling patients to be seen, was very unclear on wait time(s), & took an hour and a half to get discharge papers. Never again will I go to ANY concentra let alone the one on Chene & Jefferson. Needs to develop better customer service & speed.

I wasnt even seen. I waited in the waiting room for approximately 20 minutes to be taken into the back to wait an additional HOUR AND A HALF. When I told the staff I was leaving, because I had been waiting for an hour and a half, the nurse simply said "ok" and then turned around and walked away. COMPLETELY unprofessional. I will be making a FORMAL complaint over and over again about this location.

This place was great. Went at like 4am and was only one there. The lady was super nice and very friendly. Very professional and extremely courteous. I would hire her if I was looking for her skills. Anyways I expected a 3 hour wait after reading reviews but was waited on as soon as I finished my paperwork. Hope my sample didnt break their machines. Lol. Night shift rocked.

Rediculous wait time for check in & check out! 2 to 3 hour wait after checking in & another 2 to 3 hour wait to check out after youve been seen by the doctor. Nice staff ( but lack manners...no please & forget about thank you from the front desk staff), clean facility, but the wait time is absolutely nuts! Of all the available locations, stay away from this one.
