I went to the Gahanna location due to its proximity to my workplace and house. However, knowing what I know now, I would avoid this place like the plague based on two reasons. First, they overbook intentionally; you will share a physical therapist with another client during your visits. At first, I thought this would be a one-time thing due to an absence, but it became clear this is their usual practice when it happened every session. Due to having more than one client at a time, I never felt like my assigned physical therapist was paying his/her full attention to me or my recovery. Also, because they are splitting their attention during appointments, they dont really remember you or commit your injury to memory (i.e. if you came in, they wouldnt be able to remember anything about you). The therapists seemed knowledgeable enough, but they were constantly in a rush because they had another client to worry about. The second reason, however, is my biggest concern; the billing situation is an absolute mess. I came to Cornerstone after I was hit in a car accident in June. I attended physical therapy in July and August, and yet it is MARCH and I still do not have the bills for my visits. I presented all necessary information upon first visiting Cornerstone, so there should not have been a mix up there. My insurance company has called various times, and the receptionist Melissa claims they are sending the bills over; however, nothing is ever received. I am now forced to call in yet again and spend precious time making sure that they send it to the correct contact. I cannot stress enough how inconvenient and stressful this has been for me. THIS SHOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE FOR A COMPANY WORKING WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES ON A DAILY BASIS. Moreover, my sister went through the exact same issue with this place when she needed PT (Seriously, I am not joking or exaggerating; you have no idea how much I wish I wouldve known before I started going!). What a mess. I will never return, and I will definitely spread the word about this place.

Mixed feelings regarding this business. The service itself is great. Very knowledgeable, courteous, patient, and effective individuals who take pride in their work. I had a rotator cuff injury that was very effectively handled. However, the office keeps their billing services completely separate and good luck getting any help. On my final visit I asked to know my balance so I could pay in full. I did so but kept getting bills. I would call and ask to speak with someone who could assist with billing questions and no one was ever available. I was promised return phone calls that never came. Michelle at the front desk is a sweetheart but doesnt have the authority to get anything done. Hated unloading my frustrations on her, but I cant get any resolution. I wouldnt call it "deceptive practices" like the previous reviewer, it just seems like the left and right hands could use some therapy to work together. Whether or not I would ever go back is up in the air at this point. The business owners need to realize they will suffer if they cant manage their business any better. Your core service is wonderful, but if it isnt billed correctly, you will lose a lot of customers.

I was not sure if ever I will recover from my foot surgery because of the pain and I am completely helpless not ever to use my dominant right foot for walking and relying on scooter, boots, crutches and cane to walk. My doctor (Dr Richard Schilling) is very supportive and recommended the CORNERSTONE PHYSICAL THERAPY for my physical recovery. They listen to me to my pains and frustrations. First day JUSTIN WEISBROD welcomed me he was so nice and we discussed all treatments I needed. Justin was the owner of this place. His staff: Ashley, Carmen, Andrea kudos to these ladies. Today is my last day of treatment and I can tell I am a new stronger person physically and mentally. I will highly recommend this place to all who need physical therapy and I guarantee you will GET WELL!! Also I want to thank the ladies (Melissa) on the front desk for accomodating me if ever I need to change my schedule. My husband who patiently accompany me, also extend his thanks to all who took care of me...am proud to say I am able to drive now...THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!!

I had my last PT session yesterday and I feel like Ive greatly improved in the strength, mobility and stamina with my sports related injury since starting in mid August. Justin, Patrick, Carmen, Ashley and Andrea really know their stuff and I felt they tailored my program to exactly what I needed. I first started with Justin who got me on a program right away. Then I worked with the others. Everyone was consistently on the same page when it came to my workouts and they were always encouraging. They all provided the individual attention to my exercises and were always professional, friendly and provided great support. Even though it was work, at times it never really felt like it due to the relaxed atmosphere and easy going nature of the therapists. Melissa and the rest of the office staff were always welcoming and easy to work with when it came to the "insurance game". I cant say enough about this place and the people. If you need PT, this is the place you want to be. Thank you to everyone for getting me back to a regular life again.

The therapists at Cornerstone do good work. However, I am frustrated with the service provided by the front desk staff. After scheduling several appointments in advance, there apparently was some mistake when scheduling. The receptionist called to tell me that three appointments had to be cancelled because there was no staff member available to do astym treatment, which is what my doctor ordered. I find it very unprofessional, when I had to alter my work schedule and had planned in advance, only to have them inform me that the appointments that were promised me were not available. Furthermore, she offered me the option of coming in to exercise during the appointment time, but that would result in a co-pay, and not receiving the treatment my doctor ordered. I find this disappointing, because I do feel the therapy was helping. I had no recourse but to end this treatment relationship.

I went to Cornerstone Physical Therapy in hopes for my daughters knee to get better for track season. It was approx. 6 weeks until indoor track season started. She had been battling this on/off knee pain for a couple of months. Our experience from the start was very professional and informative. Justin (Physical therapist) did an excellent job identifying the issue and coming up with a plan of action. My daughter completed the six week program and had the best indoor/outdoor season of her life. She captured the Division 1 100m hurdle Indoor/Outdoor title. Her excellent season helped earn her a full ride athletic/academic scholarship to Kent State University. I often refer people who are in need of physical therapy and will continue to do so. Thank you and your staff for everything.

Patrick and Carmen were excellent to work with and very friendly. They both exhibited a great deal of patience and were very attentive during the therapy sessions. I spent most of my time with Patrick and I never felt rushed (even though I know they were busy with other clients) and what I appreciated the most was their concern with the pain level you were experiencing during the sessions. If my knee was bothering me one day, he would find alternate exercises to do that accomplished the designated goal. I also enjoyed the conversations and being treated with respect as an individual and not just a patient number. I would highly recommend Cornerstone Physical Therapy to friends, family and anyone looking for first rate physical therapy treatment.
