WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! DO NOT take your animals here if you love them. I was charged almost $600 for a couple blood tests, and to put my dog on an IV for 4 hours. When I came to pick her up I noticed there was a $55 charge for cleaning up diarrhea, when they brought her out her leg was covered in dog poop to the point she was leaving poop marks on there tile floor, I asked if they had a hose I could borrow to scrub her down before putting her in my vehicle and was told no. Mind you I had just been charged $55 for diarrhea clean up. I was told by the doctor I would hear from him by 8 a.m. the next morning with the test results, when he did not call I called at least 5 times through the day and was never even asked how my dog was doing, nothing! I did not hear back from the doctor until 6:30 that evening and was asked at the beginning of the phone call from the doctor "Do you have a pen and paper? " because I dont feel like repeating myself three times" (I believe this is because I had 2 sisters that were with me). I ended up having to have my dog put to sleep but, chose to do this at a different location because of the Horrible customer service I had experienced at this clinic. These people DO NOT care about animals, it all comes down to the dollar with them. By the way, if there was a way to give them a negative rating I would.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr Hansen for over 3 years. Recently, I took them in for a routine booster. Suddenly they say my older dog needs a Geriatric Wellness Exam. So they do a heartworm test (negative) and take two vials of blood. I get up to the front...$400 . This was on a Tuesday. They said the blood test results will be back by Thursday. They said the blood tests were to see if hes suffering from heart failure (???!?!). This is the first Ive ever heard of this. So Thursday, I wait...nothing. Friday, I call the office asking if they have the results. The receptionist says "yeah, but the Doctor needs to call you back". So, I start freaking and I say "Can you just tell me if theres something wrong?" She says "The tests came back good, so nothing to worry about" I have yet to hear from the Vet. Needless to say, I wont be returning. So disappointed!

There may be times when its hard to get in to see Dr. Hansen the same day or longer, but what I like is you see him every time. I prefer having to wait at times verses going to a clinic where you see a different vet each time. Just recently we had an emergency with our bulldog driving back to Dallas from Louisiana. We called Breezeway and left a message with a vet tech. Dr. Hansen called back and suggested something from a Walgreens that would help. We called again when we got near our home at 9:00 pm at night and Dr. Hansen agreed to meet us (instead of sending us to an emergency clinic) at Breezeway. We did and he treated Maximus (who loves the Doc). He went above and beyond for us. He is a 5 star vet in our eyes and we sure do appreciate him and his staff.

I will never use another Vet again. My dog had a re-broken leg due to another vets mistake and I had no idea what to do when my husband pulled a name out of a hat that turned out to be the biggest blessing. He not only took my dog late Saturday and treated him like he was his own pet. But the service has been unbelievable. He called when he got in the area from a late call so I could get my pup too him. Treated him over the weekend, and called many times too check on the progress we were having. The communication from this office is great and the customer service makes you feel like you are family. I recommend Dr Hansen for anyone with a pet!

Vet is nice, but forget trying to get an appoinment for your sick pet! Youll have to wait a minimum of 3 days! Find another vet to use and dont even waste your time starting to go to this one, youll never be able to get an appointment when you want or need one. When you do go in for your SCHEDULED appointment be preapred to sit around for an hour! Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly, but that isnt enough to keep you going there. You need to be able to get your sick dog in there within a reasonable time frame.

I have great service here usually but today I was treated extremely rude by the front desk lady named Gail. I had never taken my dog to the vet before because my mom usually does it and I had a couple of questions. She treated me like I was dumb and answered my questions very sarcastically as if I was stupid or something. I will be telling the manager about her next time I go, because she was completely out of line. This is a review about her but also a warning to potential customers.

Great vet and a loving staff. Wish we had taken our first dog here years ago, it would have been helpful at the end. They were great with my wife and her dog at the end of her life, making her as happy and comfortable as possible. Our newest rescue dog doesnt like most people, but doesnt mind the staff here, we even board her here when we have to leave town. You will be hard pressed to find a better or more affordable vet in the area.

Best vet services anywhere. After years of paying hundreds of dollars for my pets yearly visits, I found Dr. dean Hansen. He is affordable, has great bed side manner, and extremely knowledgeable. Clint, his vet tech is so nice and can help with anything. Hands down the best. If you want the best at a lower price, go here. Ask Clint or Dr. Dean anything. Theyve got you covered!

We decided to try them out when my dog hurt his foot. They were quick, got us in on a saturday and saw us quickly. The office was great, staff was great, and while my husband took the dog to be seen my son and I got to look at the horses.. it was a great location! Pricing was very reasonable for a visit, and also the medication that was offered was also very reasonable!

I like Dr. Hansen because he is an old school veterinarian. He doesnt order needless tests and treats all animals like they are his own. I take my 4 dogs to him and have referred several people to him. Everyone in the office is kind, compassionate and efficient, especially Sheila.

Dr. Hansen takes the time to speak with the patient about their pets in detail and is very upfront and honest. He doesnt recommend unnecessary procedures or medications.

Great vet with best prices, especially in Frisco/Little Elm area! We have been using them since 2001 and they are great. We will never go anywhere else.
