Dr Randy DeRusha and Dr Donald Bray have broken their word and are about to breach our contract without cause. We are going to have to sue Twin Lakes to enforce a contract that Dr Randy signed to engage us to have his location re-roofed. We spend money and lots of time preparing for the insurance adjuster as we said we would and when met with the adjuster as we said we would and then had the adjuster agree with our position as we said he would do. He was very happy with the news and then the insurance check came and we were told they would be using someone else even though our contracts state if we are successful in getting the roof replaced and you use someone else we are owed liquidated damages. Dr Randy first told us that the references we gave him were not checking out and later admitted he didn’t read the contract and shouldn’t have signed. Which is worse a doctor that lies or doesn’t read papers he signs in either event we found him deceitful and his wife for some unknown reason very rude to the female sales person who is a single mom just trying to feed her kids NOT get a date with your husband. We will have our day in court but this is how these people operate so be warned they have not been honest with us and there is an old bird saying.....if it acts like a duck and walks like a duck it’s probably in the duck family.

Third veterinarian Ive been to in about 3 months, and Ive finally found an office that I really like. I have a great dane that just had emergency bloat surgery yesterday, so she needs to spend a couple of days getting IVs, etc to recover. This place was fantastic. Everyone from front desk, to techs to the doc were all fantastic. The place is on a lot of land and looks like a farm house. Its very warm feeling. And they decorate for Halloween which earns em bonus points. :) When I arrived to pick up my pup, they had her hanging out behind the front desk so that she would have plenty of room to stretch her paws. I watched one of the techs take her out back in a huge grass area to walk her and let her go potty, it was nice to see the level of care my dog received. Everyone was very caring and I felt comfortable letting my dog recover with them. TV celebrity "Carol" was great too! ;) PS: shes been home about 3 hours now. I cant get her to eat canned or dry food, but she is eating Chick-fil-A like a champ

We have been taking our pets (5) to Twin Lakes for almost to 4 years now. This is by far the best veterinary clinic I have ever gone to for any of my pets. The entire staff is caring and they ALL provide great service and communication about what they are doing or what is going on with a particular pet. The prices are very fair and the quality of service is above and beyond. I would not take any of my 4 legged family members to any other veterinary as long as Dr. DeRusha and staff are around. Yes, I am partial because they have saved the lives of two of our cats and given us more time with them, but who wouldt be grateful for that. They are a must visit for anyone in the 380 corridor looking for a veterinary clinic!

Notice the only bad review is from a roofing contractor who believe they breached a contract. really? Youll try to hurt them on google places and talk about suing them, thats just silly, and if Im honest, it ticks me off. This place is amazing. I dont know how they stay in business because they charge so little and they have so many great people working there. I wish human health care was like this, haha, its simply fantastic. Ive been here multiple time with multiple dogs and Ill keep returning. Even the talking bird in the reception area is friendly :).

I needed a veterinarian to see my rabbit, and took a recommendation from my current vet (dog/cat only). Very glad I did so, as everyone from reception to the exam room was amazing. Their pricing is extremely fair, and the charges are straightforward. I was also very grateful for getting a guided demonstration of the fluorescein stain. As a bonus, they also test your reflexes when handing you medication. Will definitely return, and am honestly considering swapping my two cats over...even if it means dealing with the perpetual mess that is US 380.

Amazing service! I had a Green tree python that developed a respiratory infection. There was no other vet that would see a snake besides an ER vet, who want one of your kidneys to even look at your pet. Twin Lakes was not only extreamly reasonale, the doctor and his assistant were very knowledgeable and experienced with a wide range of species Id trust this vet with any animal of mine and will see them (hopefully not soon) in the future.

Level of care isnt any better than anywhere else. However your dog or cat may go in for routine vaccines and come out with an ear infection or anal gland issues. Plan on spending about $160 for a canine annual with vaccines. You can get them at TCAP for about $60. Staff is awesome but Ive seen doctors treat the staff poorly and reprimand them in front of clients. Not sure Id trust a place with so little professionalism.

I missed my dogs appointment by an hour (I thought the receptionist said "5:30") but the kind people at Twin Lakes still took the time to take care of my dogs broken nail right away. When it came time to wrap up my boy dogs foot, there was only pink bandage in the exam room. The doctor ran out to get to some blue bandage to preserve my dogs dignity! Im glad to find a good, caring vet in the area.

I have been taking my pets here for over 5years and always had the best experience. I foster animals and have had emergencies with them, Twin Lakes has always seen me right away. They really care about the animals, I know a few of them also foster and have taken in a few strays. The whole staff are extremely sweet and will treat your fur babies with extra TLC.

The vet was so kind and had an excellent bedside manner. He took such good care of my little kitten and helped me to decide on the best plan of care for my kitten with my budget. He also was great with explaning things to my 5 year old son. He took the time to make sure my son understood what was going on so he wouldnt worry. Wonderful wonderful wonderful!

We returned home from a vacation to find our dog had broken her foot! I called them at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and they had her getting xrays by 5. Fast, friendly, and very fairly priced. Having just moved to the area, we were nervous about having to find a new vet on such short notice... and we were beyond pleased with our experience.

Dr DeRusha is very knowledgeable about many species. He saved our sugar glider that almost drown. He has treated our snakes and he is always so gentle with our animals. The staff is always nice. I like having a reptile vet that is an actual reptile owner. They have fair pricing and doc is a very down to earth honest person.
