It took me a week to get into this Clinic, because they were short a Vet. I made an appointment for my dog at this clinic it was for 2:30. My dog had a severe ear infection and some chewed ares on his legs. I had to wait over an hour and a half. When I asked about the wait after numerous people came in and out before me. I was told we have other Vets and Vet Techs. Also we have surgeries and we release them around 2. So you should always make appointment in the early morning, because our surgeries are form 11:-2 (I think that was the time). She went into the back and said it would be soon. They were mopping the front floors at this point. After more of a wait, I was seen. The first apology I received was from the Vet. He was very nice and did a good job with my dog. While talking he started trimming my dogs nails. He has black nail so I do not trim them very short. He checked his ears, and saw they were infected. He prescribed ear drops and a cleanser. Then he did a biopsy on his chew spots, which was unnecessary, but I let him do it. It was not too costly. He did not give me any steroids or antibiotics for the dog and the dog still has the problem a few months later. He checked his back and said he had a hurt disc or his lower back. The Vet seemed very Knowledgeable and kind. He did a great exam and was concerned for my dog. I liked the Vet, but the office needs help.

This vet clinic actually responds with resolution to negative reviews? Who does that? Excellent indicator that although they may not always be perfect (humans can make mistakes), they certainly try to resolve (more humans should do this)! I have to say that our Great Dane, Jester has been seeing Dr. Fritz for 4 years now and we could not be happier with her expertise and care for our boy. Now I will have to say that I have had some less than perfect phone experiences... "Thank you for calling can you hold... and hold... and hold.... " It is always a running joke in our house when we are about to call wondering if we will strike the "may I help you lottery"! The way I look at it is, if they are as good as I know they are, they are pretty busy people! So I am happy to hold. Kudos Waxahachie Veterinary Clinic, we give you 5 stars!

I have had decent experiences in the office but I was very disappointed in the service I received the last time I called. I am not sure who I spoke with but the woman was very rude. I expressed to her I wanted to order my dogs medicines from 1800PETMEDS because the price was more affordable than what was offered at the clinic. She told me the vet clinic does not participate in that service (which is insane in my opinion). I told her I should have the option of buying my pets meds where I want, and she told me I could buy them there or find another vet. VERY unprofessional if you ask me. So I will take her advice and be finding another vet.

By far the most impersonable, unprofessional, openly rude office manager I have ever seen at an establishment. If shes the mainframe of the business, its understandable why other employees follow her lead with an apathetic attitude towards patrons and our pets. I thought all vet clinic staff was supposed to love animals, and be enthusiastic towards them. A pediatrician who acted indifferently towards peoples children wouldnt be in business. Husband was so offended by Crystals behavior, he said either find another vet locally, or we will continue to commute to North Dallas to the wonderful vet we were used to going to before moving here.

Amazing, Awesome, Incredible, Marvelous and Unbelievable are all great ways to express appreciation. But not for what the Staff and Docs provided. You all surpassed all. Thanks! My Cat Echo was not eating nor sleeping. The vet found out she was Jaundice and needed to be treated very quickly. After a weeks stay at the vet she was able to return home with a feeding tube. The vet called daily including sunday when they are closed to give me updates on how the treatment was progressing. They bent over backwards to keep all the test afordable for me. As a retired vet Ive seen many vets over the years and they are in my top 5. Thanks Paul

With regards to the previous comment, when I brought my dog in for his initial visit (just moved to the area), his vaccinations were included in the office visit. He has several health issues, and I found the fees to be average. The staff was responsive to my concerns and communicated my pets treatment options thoroughly. When I expressed the treatment I wanted to follow, the staff did understand my point of view and agreed with my wishes. I have visited with another pet, as well. I have not had issues with waiting for appointments.

Dr Bell and Dr Fritz are very good at their profession. We have interacted with both of them with our fur kids. Their practice is a very busy one indeed. Our pets have been patients there since 2005 when Dr Gilbreath owned the business. The doctors have continued his tradition of excellent service in our opinion

I never had a problem with any of the veterinarians I saw. The front office/reception area is why we looked elsewhere for a veterinarian. One should not be left on hold for 20 minutes. If youre too busy to answer the phone, take a name and number and call people back.

Very sweet to the animals and helpful. They dont push unnecessary medications or treatments to up your bill. Theyre a little expensive but the care your pet receives is very worth it and you wont end up with a ton of charges for things your pet didnt even need.

Called to get a first shot appointment today. The phone rang busy for an hour then I sat on hold for another 15 min. Only to be told I have to wait 15 days for a 15 min appointment? Really? Ill take my puppy some where else. Very poor patient service.

dr.gilbeth was very rude and gave my pet medicine without asking first and had expected me to pay for it. It was very unprofessional and I have never gone back since.

Get a price list before getting any testing done. Theyll take good care of your animals, but youll be spending a car payment before you know it.

Dr Gilbreath had vetted all of my familys animals for 20 years. Horses, dogs, cats, etc. He was an amazing veterinarian
