The other night my boyfriend and I were in panic as we watched our pup vomit and diarrhea non stop for a good 30 minutes. Growing up I had many dogs and I never once saw what happened to our Balto happen to them. I called Frisco Emergency Pet Care and they informed me it would be best to go ahead and bring him in, and that there was no wait. I knew from the moment we got there this place was going to take AMAZING care of our handsome man. If the kindness and genuine concern wasnt enough, the fact that our dog actually went inside was telling enough. Our dog is only a year old, but for the first 6 months of his life we was neglected inside of a kennel where his only view was watching other dogs fight. If he does not feel comfortable going inside somewhere, he wont! Yet, when we brought him here he had no problem. Once they took him to the back to start the exam to figure out what was happening to our baby, we waited in a separate room where they took care of all the questions about Balto and his history. Everyone was extremely friendly. Then we met Heather. She was Baltos vet for the night. She showed such compassion and kept easing our mind that we would get this taken care of. We had to leave him with her over night and we felt comfortable doing so after getting to speak with her. The next morning on our way to pick him up I called to check in on him. Mrs. Heather got on the phone and raved about how sweet our puppy is, which that itself was a blessing to hear since he usually only opens up to my boyfriend or I. Thankfully they had gotten him to stop throwing up and going diarrhea. Which he still hasnt done either! There is no words to describe how helpless we felt watching our pup barely be able to catch his breath without throwing up, but Heather and her staff at Frisco Emergency Pet Care helped bring peace to everything that was going on! Thank yall so much for everything you did for Balto!

I visited the emergency center on July 7th, 2017, and the service we received was wonderful. I brought my Westie in due to a potential snakebite from a copperhead. We called ahead of time, stated we werent sure if she was bitten or not, and were greeted immediately at the front door. The first person we spoke to calmed her (and us) down. The facility itself was very nice, new and clean. After approximately 30-45 minutes, Dr. Michael LoSasso spoke to us and explained how he examined her and what the usual symptoms were of a snakebite. We showed him a picture, and he stated it was consistent with a copperhead. He was patient with our questions, incredibly informative, and very professional. He let us know what snakes were common in the area, what to look for in the coming hours, and to come back for a second trip (free of charge) in the next 24 hours if we saw any troubling symptoms. He also emailed us thorough departing instructions that detailed our visit and our concerns. They did no unnecessary testing, and were very responsibly priced. We loved the care all of the individuals in this practice had for our girl, and highly recommend Frisco Emergency Pet Care to others.

Showed up at 7:20. Waited an hour in the lobby. Then waited an hour in the room. They took my dog while we waited in the room. She sat in a cage for an hour. After 45 min I could hear her yelping. I stepped into the hall and saw her sitting in a cage with techs in the same room who were just ignoring her. Mind you, we brought her in because she was vomiting and had diarrhea for 36 hours. Do you really think leaving her in a cage for that long is a good idea?? I had to set off their door sensor to get someones attention to tell them she needs to go to the bathroom. I was assured they would take her. When I went back to the waiting room, the door to the back room where she was being held had been closed. Nice. Doctor comes in and lays out every scenario under the sun with no definitive answers to anything. Suggests shots and an IV and testing. Then informs us that their testing is not accurate because they cannot send anything to a lab. Wasted 3 hours of my life, paid $125 for an exam that told us nothing, got aggravated to no end and still have a sick dog. Great. My suggestion is find ANY other hospital in an emergency situation. Dont make the same mistake I did!!

Frisco Emergency Pet Care is amazing... Dr Burnside is truly a life saver. He brought our little dog Radar back from the brink of death and if it wasnt for him she wouldnt be here with us today. His dog-bed side manner is incredible and his follow through with care and instructions are detailed and thorough. The vet techs that took care of her for the entire holiday weekend helped nurse her back to health and took great care of her. Thank you Raina, Julie, and Cathy for all the care you gave Radar even feeding her by hand to get her stronger. I cant say enough about the entire staff and how accommodating they are to visiting your pets and keeping you updated. They call if anything changes and keep you up to date on your pets care. No one ever wants to end up taking their pet to an ER but I am thankful for Frisco Emergency Pet Care and everyone who works there.

My wife and I are so happy to have found Frisco Emergency Pet Care right in our back yard. On Sept 28th, 2016, Our poor little dog just didnt seem to be herself so we really needed some place to go before the morning. We just felt like she needed help. And it turned out that she did. I looked at a couple other places but the ratings were awful so that is why I am so glad to have found these guys. Dr. Heather was so nice and thorough. We really liked her along with their entire staff. Their place is very new and very nice. Everything is state of the art. They are a bit hidden but they are so well worth it. Please give them a chance. We are very glad we did. We really have a peace of mind now that there is a very nice emergency pet hospital that we can go to overnight if our little one every needed great care. We want to thank you guys so much.

Theres an emergency animal hospital about five minutes from my house, but I have had several terrible experiences there, so two days ago, when my little guy couldnt stop throwing up and ... doing other stuff ... I took the extra few minutes to drive here. Im so glad I did. 1) Its so new, and so clean. 2) The check in, the evaluation, and the assessment is all done on their computer in real time. No paperwork. Its efficient and fast. 3) They did not do treatments or tests I was fully expecting them to do, and explained to me why they werent necessary. (The emergency vet close to my house absolutely *would* have done these things, and taken a long time to do them.) 4) I got out of there for a lot less money than I was expecting to pay that night. I hope I never need to go to an emergency vet again, but if I do, this is where Im going.
