To all whom have given a bad rating... FYI, its 2016!! His job is to diagnose and treat animals. Not humans and not to make you smile and most certainly not to deal with pet parents with outrageous expectations. Tired of complaints because someone wasnt nice (when "nice" is different for everyone). When was the last time you visited a Wal-mart cashier that was pleasant??? A drive thru? Or bank/credit card company? When I schedule appointments, my pet(s) aware ill, or need vaccs or annual exams. I dont go, expecting a lovely personal experience. Doc Wade Johnson is NOT an ass and he most certainly is not Dr. Attitude. Hes real, honest and blunt. Which is rare! And yes, he knows his services are not cheap. And he does use cheaper methods when possible. Yes, he will squeeze your dogs stomach. Its the exact same as when you go to the ER and palpitate your stomach. Please dont give a business a bad rating because someone was rude to you....or better defined, and in this clinics case....honest. Do you want a doc to lie to you? I dont. For those that are thinking about bringing your pets here and are using reviews to decide on the clinic thats right for your pet, please read the good and bad reviews and take into fact that some people, not all, expect others to be kind and loving. -- I can guarantee you that Doc Johnson DID NOT drag a dog across the floor. Ever. -- That claim is the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard. Others, like me, who wants my pet diagnosed, get treatment, and get out of there. I dont want my own doctor to beat around the bush just to be nice to me. All the negative reviews here are because of individual perception. Not of the business or the Doctor. A business. There are vet techs and office staff too. I dont mean to rant but some these comments are just nuts and very exaggerated. I have been to all three clinics in little elm along Eldorado and 423. Not one person at any other clinic were even capable of treatment without a $150 X-ray first. An X-ray is not always needed. Also...if you do not have the $$ to pay for a visit, use the low cost travel clinics (then youll be begging to let Wade Johnson to treat your pet after your experience with these low cost mobile units). If you dont have the $$ for the low cost clinic, then you should NOT own a pet at all. Nothing is free. The clients that this clinic has, have been there for years, and they continue to bring their pets. Theres reason behind that. Also, fees for any service at this clinic are extremely competitive and many times lower than others. My whole point is that Wade Johnson, DVM is there to care for your pets. Not the humans. End of story. Do not walk in anywhere expecting to walk on a red carpet....especially when you are going to decline vaccinations, micro-chips, and more. My Review.... Doc Wade Johnson is awesome!!! He takes care of my pets like they were his owns!! Unfortunately, my pets have been ill in the last few months, however, every time they visit the clinic, Vet Tech Becky, Doc Wade Johnson, and admin Angie all work together to make sure pets have been taken care of! This clinic will be taking care of ALL my fur-babies for many, many years to come!!

I used to go there to take my dogs once in a while because the clinic is closer to my house but everything changed until yesterday when I took my baby Lola, who I just adopted last Thursday from Colombia where I am from. Lola is a paralyzed dog and went thru hell over there, in fact, she is a miracle. She was rescued and saved from death twice by this amazing vet who has her own sanctuary where she stayed until she came to Dallas. I took her because I noticed a very strong smell in her urine and also incontinence. I have a very good communication with her vet in Colombia and she told me that Lola did not present that problem while she was there. However, to take her to the vet. Any how, before to take her inside the office, Lola escaped from my arms and believe me she may be paralyzed but she knows how to run, I wanted to cried because her back legs were bleeding because the concrete. The point is that I told the assistant that she needed to be check for the incontinence, the strong smell in her urine, and to clean her wounds because what happened moments earlier. Well, when he saw my dog, the first thing he said was: a paralyzed dog, she is not going to live much and she is not going to have a good quality of life. Then, he said that she will always going to have incontinence problems and bla bla bla . I told him that while in the sanctuary, she did have that problem. He prescribed me an antibiotic without doing a test because her bladder was empty and when I asked his assistant about her wounds, she pretty much said that it was worthless because her condition, I guess they do not know there is something call "drag bags". I think they did not have paralyzed patients before or if they do I feel sorrow for them or they need to read and to update the information about new products for handicapped animals. They treat my dog like an alien coming from Mars, I felt that he and his team discriminated my dog because her condition and I almost felt with his first comment like he was suggesting me that the best thing for her was to put her to sleep. For me hearing something like this and coming from a vet in this country was not different that the same belief many bad vets from my country have when they see a paralyzed animal where in fact is very common. I just could no believe it. Lola went thru so much in her short life to be discriminated in her first vet visit here in this country. Surely he lost 6 clients because I would never ever will touch his place again.

My son took his English bulldog because he had stones and was unable to urinate except for small amounts. So the first day it was an office visit and xrays $140.00, next visit it was surgery $600.00, then it was the stone analysis $222.00. Took pet back 2 more times he still cant urinate right. Dr. Johnson would look at him and just say he will be OK. He showed me the 2 stones he had removed. He never re-xrayed him to make sure the stones were all removed. 2 weeks later my son has to take the pet for emergency surgery. Dr. cut him open removed over 12 stones 3 very large ones. He was blocked up and urine was septic would have died if not operated on. My son called Dr. Johnson at LE clinic said he did the best he could. Would not refund the money for not removing the stones. Poor excuse he does not care about peoples pets and belittles them in front of you. I usually take my dogs there for their shots not anymore. I was in there one day and another pet had a bad bowel movement on the floor he said very loudly where everyone could hear it. Im going to have to burn this place to the ground now. Pets go to the Dr. same as Humans because they are sick. I would hate to think we would be belittled like that if we went to a hospital and they announced that to everyone. Sick of his disrespectful attitude and he should not be a vet he is uncaring just wants the money.
