Describe my experience, wow, lets see.....my family spends our winters in the Texas sun...We have a German Shepherd who had developed a problem with one of his testicles....(He jumped a fence, and tore his scrotum) We were referred to Dr. Rickey ? Went to his office, without an appointment, we just showed up as a walk in....We were met by a rude receptionist....Was told to sit and wait....Sat for over an hour, in the waiting room.....The staff here, was actually arguing with one another !! That particular day, the entire workplace seemed to be in chaos....Even the Vet, was short tempered.....You could here him screeching like a girl....75 minutes of that negative energy, was enough for me and Fritz, we left....I Google searched another Vet.....Drove over to Portland Animal Hospital.....We walked in, and within 15 minutes, the good Dr. had Fritzs scrotum stiched up, and saved his testicle....THANK GOD FOR THE WONDERFUL DOCTOR @ PORTLAND ANIMAL HOSPITAL....I cant say enough good things about their demeanor and care....Thank you, again......

We have a giant Alaskan Malamute who became sick. After calling our regular vet who would not make a housecall, I called Ingleside Animal Hospital to see if Dr. Broussard would make a house call. Emily told me yes he would & we scheduled a day for him to come out. He & Elizabeth were so caring & concerned for our Kota & treated him with utmost care. It turned out Kota was a very sick dog & if it had not been for Dr. Broussard & his wonderful staff Kota would have died from an infection. Dr. Broussard & his staff won our hearts & our business. We now use Ingleside Animal Hospital for all our pet needs! Recently he started seeing our 14 year old cat & we are getting the same kind, caring treatment we get with our dog. Every staff member is so wonderful with the pets! We thank God every day for Dr. Broussard & his willingness to make a house call when no other vetinarian in Rockport would! Ingleside Animal Hospital is the best of the best! Thank you Dr. Ricky & staff!

Unfortunately, this morning, I accidently shut my new little puppys head in my car door. The whole situation, and the majority of the day has been horrific....my puppy is still barely hanging on. But whats worse, is when we rushed our puppy to the vets office in Ingleside (literally rushed, my husband had no shoes, wallet or phone on him), they refused to start treatment until they had a $400 deposit. Well, our wallet was still at the house. My husband, upset as he rightly should b, said "thats inhumane but we will b right back" cuz we had no choice but to go back to the house to get the wallet. Well when he returns, the vet verbal attacks my husband and tells him we can take our business elsewhere and hands my puppy who is seizuring, drooling at the mouth and whimpering, to my husband, and then says the anti inflammatory shot they gave her is on the house..... thoughts? So we went to floerke in Taft where they treated her right away.

My husband and I recently moved to Texas from Florida. We hadnt had a chance to establish new doctors for ourselves yet let alone a vet for our fur babies... when our 4 month old French bulldog "toast" broke her leg yesterday morning I had a horrid day... having to meet all new people in an emergency situation. First vet of the day that I saw was a really nice woman who referred me to a specialist.. which was way out of our price range and no matter what angle my husband and I looked at it we knew we could never afford the cost. then I was referred to Rickey at ingleside animal hospital! This man is an amazing doctor! He was incredibly honest, thorough and compassionate. Just let me reiterate the word HONEST! Something you seldomly find in a person. I felt a weight lift off my shoulder and instantly knew I could trust him to perform bone surgery on my baby. I wish I could give him more than just 5 stars!

To new clients, honestly, it took me about three visits to get used to Dr. Broussard. He can be an outspoken character; however, I still bring my pets to Dr. Broussard even after moving away from Ingleside to southside Corpus Christi almost 2 years ago (which makes for a very unhappy ride for my cat). It has become a very busy office and with good reason. Dr. Broussard is beyond the best and his staff has always been super friendly each and every time I go in there. Every question I have ever had they have answered in an efficient and professional manner. They might not have a lot of time for chit-chat but they are not rude and are not unfriendly. I have a very elderly, even ancient cat, and he has done wonders to keep her healthy on my limited budget. She is more spry and mischievous than ever before.

I cant say enough good things about Ingleside Animal Clinic! Another vet diagnosed my 8 year old Maltipoo with a torn ACL and told me that immediate surgery was my only option. I decided to get a second opinion and went to Dr. Broussard who recommended 6-8 weeks of crate confinement and regular injections of Adequan. This treatment option has worked wonders for my dog - she no longer limps or acts like she is in any pain. I am very grateful that Dr. Broussard offered an option other than surgery - this was the right choice for me and my dog. All 3 of my dogs are now treated at Ingleside and I couldnt be happier. The staff is professional, friendly compassionate and well-trained. Thanks Ingleside!!!

Dr. Broussard and staff not only saved one of our elder dogs, they saved two. I can never thank them enough for everything that they have done for our fur babies. Because of them, my dogs are still alive today. This team has been nothing short of amazing and I am eternally grateful for their hard work and dedication. Its hard to find people as good as these guys are. Id give 100 stars if it were possible. Even the receptionists are amazing and caring. A puppy was brought in by a distressed family today. The puppy had a head injury and the vet REFUSED to treat the puppy until the family paid $400 up front. The husband who was half dressed had forgotten his wallet in the rush to get the puppy in. The vet demanded the money up front so the husband left to get the wallet. When he returned the vet handed the puppy back to the family and told them to take thier business elsewhere. The puppy was in seizures when they handed him over. NEVER going back here ever again. EVER.

Dr. Broussard and staff love & care for our pets as if they were their own. Our Cypress had to stay behind on our family vacation because we found out that he had heart disease the day that we were supposed to leave , which was a very sad time for us , but Ricky and staff are taking very good care of him for us .. they even sent us a video of him, showing us he was doing well. Thank You....Dr. Broussard & Staff !!!! Blessings, Mike & Gwen Fur Babies ... Cypress, Chloe & Sasha ( clients for 15 yrs +)
