Its fair to say that me and my boyfriend think of our cat as our child, so when we had to get her fixed I researched vets around Winter Park to find the best one. I definitely succeeded. We took her in for a pre-surgery exam and everyone was so nice, even though my boyfriend and I were acting like crazy, overbearing parents, asking ridiculous questions and basically freaking out that our precious little kitty had to have surgery. The office is clean and inviting, while we were waiting a man stopped by to show the ladies that work there some new pictures of his cat. It really is like a family and they treat your pet as such. The best part of the whole experience though is that the surgery went amazing, our cat is doing awesome. There havent been any after effects, as soon as we got her home she was playing and eating. Oh, and they called the morning after the surgery to check on how shes doing, how many vets do that? We will definitely be bringing her here for the rest of her life, which we expect to be quite long thanks to the amazing staff at Interlachen ANimal Hospital (and thanks for not ripping me off like the last Vet did :) Dr. Andy is so nice as well as patient and warm without losing his Professionalism.

Put shortly, Great Vet. I had to get my dog spayed and just moving up to Orlando I was very worried after hearing some horror stories about getting your dog spayed. I found Interlachen Animal Hospital online and the reviews were very good. I was able to make a appointments and they were able to board my dog for 2 days because of my work schedule. After a small issue with my dog not being able to control her bladder when i brought her home had me concerned, I brought her back to the hospital and the doctor did not have any problem taking a 2nd look at her to put me at ease. Dog is doing great now with no issues. Price is fair and not many vets will do surgery on a dog they have not had a chance to meet. Customer service was a big deal to me with this being my first dog. I was calling at least 2-3 times a day as well as sending plenty of emails checking on my dog. It This is my dogs first surgery so I was very nervous but Lauren did a great job responding to all my phone calls and emails and because of their great customer service, I will now be going here for all my dogs grooming and veterinary needs.

Not only has Dr. Andy helped me with all of my pets, I have sent friends to him who have gone to several other veterinarians who could not find or fix their pets problem and Dr. Andy was able to diagnose and successfully treat their problem on the first visit. Absolutely the best veterinarian I have ever met (and I have spent a bit of time working with animal shelters and ill pets.) One of my cats had been diagnosed by another veterinarian as having an incurable and contagious parasitic disease that is transmissible to humans. I took Kazuki in to see Dr. Andy and he was able to diagnose within a few minutes that there were no "brain worms" in Kazuki, she just had a neurological reaction to the S-Methoprene in the horrible flea medicine he had applied to her (please dont use cheap topical flea meds on your cat.) Dr. Andy gave us a proper flea control medication to use and within a couple of weeks, Kazuki was again able to walk straight and jump and play and was a normal cat again. This is all due to Dr. Andys experience, knowledge, and wisdom.

I was hoping for a good experience based on all of the positive reviews, unfortunately that was not the case. I recently adopted a senior dog from an animal shelter and brought her in for an exam as she had obvious eye and ear issues. Dr Andy asked why I would get a dog in this condition (as far as he said, nothing serious or life threatening, would probably just need drops for her eyes and ears long term) and then asked if I could return her. As in return her back to the kill shelter we just adopted her from. And he said this in front of my two small children. And since I had two small children, why didnt I just adopt a puppy instead. As an animal lover myself, I felt sad that a vet would even say such a thing. I felt there was no way I could trust him with the well being of my dog. I did not naively adopt a senior dog thinking she would be in perfect health, but hoped I would be able to find a compassionate vet to help me insure the remainder of her days would be good. That sadly is not what I found at Interlachen Animal Hospital.

I took a neighborhood outside cat in for treatment after it had gotten a terrible infection from a bite from another animal. I found the practice in a hurry on the internet after quickly reading some reviews. I have never been a pet owner and the front desk staff treated me with kid gloves and kindness as far as my ability to handle the cat. The cat was medically treated with great care and appropriately conservatively so that I felt that every single thing that could be done to help this cat successfully heal from an extensive injury was done. The vet, Dr. Andy, walked us to the car when I came to take him home and said that the cat was their cat, too, at this point. I know that they are invested in his recovery. I know that the bill that I paid was significantly less than it could have been considering the amount of time that this cat spent with them and the two two surgeries that he required. I so appreciate their kindness and care for the cat!

Dr. Andy is the best, hands down, BEST Vet I have ever worked with in my life!!! The office is clean, calm and welcoming. The Staff are top marks in Customer Service and Knowledge (I work in a field that focuses on excelling in customer service where I help train agents to be the best at helping the person/customer). Trust me these guys are the real deal! My pup boys, Jake and Ryker, love going to the vet here. They warmed immediately to everyone. Ryker is a bit cautious around new people but not here! He walked right up to everyone. Coming from a history of Vets that were argumentative, dismissive of my questions and downright salesmen for companies rather than medical professionals, Dr. Andy has healed more than my dogs! I have faith in his decisions, and trust I can ask a question expecting an educated, gracious response. I will never go to another vet. Interlachen Animal Hospital is worth any trip costs.

My husband and I have had the immense pleasure of bringing our Chocolate Lab Shiloh to Interlachen Animal Hospital. As an animal lover I have come in contact with many veterinarians in my life and I can easily say that Dr. Andy is the most knowledgeable. His bedside manner is fantastic, and he really devotes all of his time and attention to your animal. When our dog needed emergency surgery, Dr. Andy arrived within TEN MINUTES and quickly attended to our dog and was happy to do so. Each time we have an appointment he answers all of our questions in great detail and we never feel like he wants to rush us out the door. He is warm and affectionate with our dog and always goes the extra step to make us feel comfortable. If you love your animal and want only the best for them please go see Dr. Andy, you will not be disappointed, and your pet will be grateful that they are in such capable hands.
