Dr. Katz is an awesome Pediatrician! My son is almost three and Dr. Katz has been his Pediatrician since birth. My son spent his first year and a half going to daycare (I stay home with him now) and it seemed like he was sick all the time. What I like about Dr. Katz is that he is very knowledgeable, always listens and seems to generally care about my little guy. I mean my son had everything, acid reflux, milk allergy, RSV, the croup, pink eye, constant colds and allergies, and tubes from ear infections. Im probably missing some things. Dr. Katz has always diagnosed him correctly and everything hes told us has been on the mark. My son was admitted to the hospital for two nights and even though he was being treated by the Pediatrician on staff, Dr. Katz spoke with the Pediatrician and came by to visit us both days we were in the hospital. He is a great Pediatrician. Ive never had any trouble getting in to see a doctor the same day I call. I usually only wait 5-10 minutes to see someone. The nurses are awesome too. Ive called them countless times with questions and they call me back within hours. Dr. Katz is the best in my book and I highly recommend him!

We have been a part of the practice for almost 6 years but are changing today. Dr Katz is amazing and even met with us pre adoption and has many times went above and beyond. He is smart, talented and caring. Nurse practioners have changed a few times but all have been good and I love walk in options for sick care. Dr MacDonald is also great. Unfortunately the last two years although we have been lucky to only need to go a few times the phone attendant and office staff have been dismissive on good days and down right rude on others. Specifically Rhonda and one other. I completely understand it is a busy practice and at times I may have an extra question or need additional info for my insurance or extra records to be sent to school or day care. Although we have delayed changing because of the amazing doctors today based on an interaction trying to schedule an appointment we are switching to another practice. I will miss Doctor Katz and thank him for everything but the staff and office interactions have gone from mild nuisance to be tolerated to unacceptable.

I remember first meeting this very handsome Dr. before my baby was due to arrive...years ago. I wasnt sure at first, so many choices. Yet he continued to regularly visit me on bed rest in the hospital for just over 2-1/2 months until the birth. His presence is warm and he genuinely cares. You cant fake that! 9 years later we still see Dr. Katz, and wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. He is soft spoken with a little humor but never over done. He really knows babies/kids and no matter how many crazy questions I ask or how frazzled I am with the situation he always calmly shares knowledge/experience and is always very respectful. Entire staff at this office greet everyone with smiles and efficiently and quickly keep all the pieces moving. You never wait long in their waiting room! If you need a Pediatrician Plano Pediatrics is the BEST place to go. You will not be disappointed...ever!

We LOVE Dr. Katz. I have 3 children and have used Dr. Katz since we moved to Plano, 5 years ago. Hes the only pediatrician whos seen my youngest 2 children. Before that, we visited quite a few with my oldest as I always felt talked down to, ignored, blown off, rushed, etc. But Dr. Katz explains everything in an easy to understand way, he listens, he takes his time to make you feel like you got everything you need/want from each visit, he has tips and tricks for lots of things that help save money... hes awesome. And the nurses and staff at the facility are GREAT! I even love his Nurse Practitioner! They have a flue clinic, same day visits if your kid is sick, an after hours pediatric facility, and a sick visit clinic before the regular pediatric office opens!!! Ive never been disappointed with Dr. Katz or his staff! HIGHLY recommend!

Two of my husbands co-workers raved about Dr. Katz when we were looking, so we gave him a shot (pun intended). Hes been caring for my kids since my oldest was just hours old. I cant imagine going through the stress of new motherhood without him. His calm and confident approach was what I needed. Im not sure how many panicky Google search escalated trips weve taken to his office over the past 4 years, but he always listens, examines and provides the facts. Hes as professional as they come, so hes not going to sugarcoat or tell you what you want to hear. His patients are his priority and he wont hesitate to give his medical opinion. A simple, "Good job, mom" from Dr. Katz is an absolutely priceless compliment.

Doctor Katz is a wonderful pediatrician. Hes very calm and takes the time to answer all questions, providing great advice. Hes not condescending and truly cares about his patients. The office is very well run and Ive never waited very long in the waiting room. I couldnt recommend him enough.
