DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE TO HEARTLAND. My Mothers blood pressure was consistently above 200. When I asked a staff member in regards to her high blood pressure, I was told the doctor would look into it. Every day, I was told that the same thing "the doctor would look into it." NO ONE DID ANYTHING. I just kept getting the same runaround. Fortunately, my Mother was discharged and her blood pressure lowered after she was at home. Had my Mother stayed there any longer, she would have suffered a stroke or died. Later, we discovered that she was not given her heart medication as "it was not on the nurses list." I had no peace of mind while my Mother was at Heartland. After visiting my Mother, I would leave wondering if that would be the last time I would see her. HEARTLAND IS A DISGRACE AND SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN!!!!!

DO NOT SEND YOUR LCED ONES TO THIS PLACE. Some of the staff here is so rude and disrespectful to the patients its unbelievable. On the weekend its like a ghost town there. No one is doing their jobs. The aides heads are buried in their cell phones ignoring the call lights of patients and I witnessed this behavior myself. Parker is very rude and disrespectful to the patients she should not be in this profession. My moms first visit here was amazing and thats why we brought her back this time but I must say the experience this time was horrible. We have switched here to another facility and another company. We are done with Heartland Grosse Pointe .

Poor help dont want to do the work just get a pay check if you truly love who ever this not the place need more training .
