They need to just close that building down and send people to the Humane Society of Pinellas.......They would probably get treated there. I brought my daughter in there who is stage 3 maybe 4 Ovarian Cancer with a huge visible tumor to get some sort of assistance so she could get the surgery she needed. What a runaround....not one person in that place was friendly, understood the urgency of our situation or even put an effort to be helpful. I felt like we were being herded like cattle. We went around to all the various facilities and picked up her scan results, etc. and brought them to the health dept. they kept telling us we needed more......we did everything we were asked to do. Finally got in to see a doctor only because i started crying. The doctor put an "urgent" request for a referral BUT told us if we didnt hear from them in a WEEK to call them. !! Well, we simply cannot wait anymore so we are going to try to go to the hospital this morning on our own with the blue card and hope she gets the surgery. They told us if she gets admitted they will pay...but who knows what the real story is. Pray for us and to the health department fire all your current employees and start over.

I have been going here off and on for the past 2 years and Ive gotta say this place is the absolute worst. They are always very understaffed and because of this a simple little appointment could take 3-4 hours (mostly waiting too!). The staff is nice, but are obviously very oblivious about anything and everything when it comes to actually helping you out. They are the worst when it comes to scheduling as you will be waiting a month or two even if you express the urgency of the problem. Either get more suitable and more qualified employees or just simply tear this place down because this place is a shining example of how our County is doing an awful job of helping out its citizens. Also, make sure youre good at speaking/reading spanish, most of the staff are very hard to understand when it comes to their english and they will send you home with paperwork that is entirely in spanish.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY AND DISPRESPECTFUL. I UNDERSTAND THEY HAVE A HIGH VOLUME OF PATIENTS, BUT BEING MY FIRST TIME IM NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE WAIT TIME NOR DO I APPRECIATE THE ATTITUDE FROM THE MORNING STAFF. I CAME IN FOR MY DAUGHTERS IMMUNIZATIONS AND THIS WAS THE ONLY PLACE I COULD FIND ON SHORT NOTICE TO DO THEM FOR A 5 YEAR OLD. I AM NOT FROM CLEARWATER SO THIS WAS MY ONLY OPTION. I DIDNT MIND WAITING ALL I DID WAS ASK HOW LONG WAS THE WAIT AND THE FRONT DESK ATTACKED ME AND SHOWED ME THE LIST OF HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE IN FRONT OF ME. I HAD NON IDEA WHAT THAT EVEN MEANT AND WAS SO LIVID WHEN I LEFT. NEVEERRRR AGAIN!!!

I met with Erin regarding my struggle with breast feeding. I am a new mom, and was unable to get my baby to successfully latch for comfortable breast feeding. Erin was very encouraging and helped instruct me on how to get my baby to comfortably latch to the breast. My experience with her beyond surpassed my experience with the lactation consultants and nurses in the hospital after we delivered our precious baby girl. If I ever encounter anyone who experiences the same challenges, I will recommend Erin and the team at the health department WIC/ breast feeding counselors.

I have NO idea why people have given this place such a bad rating. I went with my spouse here to check what wasnt right (I cant afford health insurance, nor can she), and they treated her and me with respect (as I did treat them). It was a quick visit (we went in the morning at about 7:40 AM and got out by 8:50) and Im really grateful for their help. And the antibiotics we got from them did the trick. Very happy. Be nice to them, dont be naggy, and realize that they are trying to help you out before writing something negative about them. Definitely recommend it!

They act friendly when you come in, but are HORRIBLE with following up with you. Ive been playing phone tag with a woman for 2 months now for my badly infected tooth. Ive done everything needed of me and have been desperately trying to find somebody to call me back so I can get this extraction... Ive called 3 different people and they DO NOT call you back. They dont give a damn if you could DIE from an infection....completely worthless place.

This place dont even deserve one star and my time to make a reciew. Im 8 months pregnant and Ive been treated bad since the day one. Every time they spoke spanish with me and I dont understand a single word. Now that I finally have a insurance and Im able to find another doctor they dont give my records and guess what? I cant have a new doctor without those records. I dont know what to do anymore. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE.

With an appointment still wait hours. It took 10 months to finally have my primary complaint addressed, to then have them refuse payment to the neurologist and put me on a waiting list to see a different neurologist. Ive been on that waiting list 5 months now, with my condition deteriorating. People are nice enough, but nice isnt healing me or getting me the help I need.
