I called to see how much it was cost for our 2 new kittens to be checked and let them know we were on a budget. I was quoted around d 250$ for shots, exam etc... I took them and we were there for several hours by the time it was said and done. I went to pay and the cost was over 400$!! That was not only shocking but almost twice what I was quoted! Not only was I irritated at this but I was sent home with a tube and told to bring samples of their poop back for testing! WTH?? Never have I had to do this and have had cats my whole life. To date now I have to take them somewhere else because they need that de-wormer. Although everyone was extremely friendly I am thoroughly disappointed and shocked that I have to pay even more to get them their initial care!

While the mix of our 4-legged children has changed during the years, the level of care and service has not. I have taken my two dogs there for almost two years. Everyone on the staff is very kind and seem to really enjoy their jobs. I have seen all three doctors throughout the years, and they are all wonderful. I go to Northwest Animal Hospital for routine check-ups and have also gone during mild emergencies. During one major emergency with one dog, they did all they could before directing me to another Emergency Surgery Hospital in Southlake. They always go over cost estimates before proceeding and provide options. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone in the north DFW area.

Northwest Animal Hospital is simply the best veterinary hospital Ive ever had the pleasure to take my animals to. The team Dr. Epperson has built and the practice he has established has resulted in stellar, compassionate quality for his animal patients and the humans who love them. Our three dogs (2 pits and a Belgian Sheepdog) are always eager and happy to enter the clinic, which is evidence that they have never had a traumatic or negative experience there. Thanks to this wonderful team our furry family members, past and present, live and have lived very long and healthy lives.

Cant rave enough about the fine folks at NW Animal Hospital. From the moment you walk in the door everyone shows a genuine concern for your pets well being. Even received a follow up call from the staff after my dogs procedure just checking to make sure all was well. Jason, my vet, is top notch. He thoroughly explained all the available options and made sure I felt comfortable with our chosen treatment. If you have a pet in need of care, this is the place!

Went to Northwest Animal Hospital to get medicine for my cat before returning to Houston (after Harvey). Dr. Epperson was extremely thorough and helpful, and due to our emergency situation, was kind enough not to charge us for the visit. Everyone was so kind and helpful, from the minute we walked through the door. Highly recommend for anyone in the area & will definitely return if we have any issues when were in the city!

Nice, clean place. I scheduled an appointment for my cat here a few weeks ago. We were seen right on time, the staff was super nice and seemed genuinely happy to be there, and they were pretty quick to get us in, diagnosed, and out again. They even called and followed up the next week to see how if the medication was working. Highly recommend.

This office has some of the most caring and competent folks of any vet office I have visited. They treat every pet as though they are special. If you want cheap go to Banfield. They are a little above average price wise, but the place is spotless and Dr. Ellison and the staff are extremely professional and take the time to explain all options.
