I am new to the Dallas Texas area; and looking for new doctors always places me on edge... Nevertheless, I was recommended to Dr. Martin by another doctor in a totally different profession. I was looking forward to this visit which is why I decided to wait 2 months just to be seen as a new patient. It was explained that Dr. Martin only takes new patients once a month... The day before my scheduled appointment the area had some inclement weather which caused a lot of things to be closed, yet I received three notifications from this office reminding me to arrive at my appointment 15 minutes earlier the following day (even after completing the online new patient package). As instructed, I arrived to my appointment only to see that the office was closed informing patients with a sign on the door. Not once did I receive a call from someone informing me the office was closed and to save the drive and not come out into the weather. I was inspecting someone from the doctors office to call me the next day to reschedule my appointment but it did not happen. I had to call them. Had it been my fault I would have still been subject to a cost.... When I did arrive to the next scheduled appointment, I had an extremely long wait 3 hours because the doctor had to leave in the middle of my appointment to deliver a baby. Okay, I can live with this because no one can put a time on a delivery and besides the doctor informed me of the situation and apologized when she meet with me and was willing to speak with my manager if need be.... HOWEVER, NO ONE from the office staff took the courtesy to keep me informed of why the wait was so long. This message could get longer, but in short what I am saying is that the office staff dropped the ball completely in the communications area regarding my entire visit and the services I needed following.... When I addressed the issue in person (another hour long wait with low traffic from patients) everyone seem to have attitudes and placed the blame on anyone other than themselves. NOT ONCE did an office worker, medical assistance and office manager apologize for the inconvenience or their unprofessionalism. When I asked twice (different people) one being the office manager where can I go to write a review she said they do not have anything like that and she wouldnt know what guidance to give me. To be clear at this time Dr. Amy Martin is not the issue. There are two other doctors in this office and these staffers works for all the doctors.... This entire front office team needs some training on how to communicate better to its customers.

I wish I could give this place less than one star. The office asks that you get there a half hour before. I was five min late.. I then proceeded to wait till my scheduled appointment time which was 10:30am .. 11:00am rolled by, then 11:15.. I have now been siting in the waiting room for over an hour! Meanwhile numerous women have walked in the office after me and have already been in and checked out while I AM STILL WAITING!! Finally after staring at the receptionist for ten min she finally lets me know I am up next.. just kidding- more women go before me. Finally I am called- only an hour and a half later + just to sit in a room and wait for the doctor. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL by ANY means!! Time management is a serious issue in this office and should be addressed promptly you will loose business. Starting with myself I willNEVER go back!!!

I have been going here since 1998 and its a wonderful place with wonderful staff. I have only waited longer than 20 mins when theres been an emergency for the docs, etc. I have gotten courtesy calls to reschedule when there was unforeseen emergencies that took my doc out-of-pocket for the day. Ive never had any real issues. Ever. I recommend to anyone looking for a professional womens services!!! No one is perfect but this office is genuine and transparent and truly helpful.

Excellent doctor!! She spends great amount of time with patients so they will clearly understand their care. So I dont mind the wait. Never have issues getting in for appointments and staff is very nice.
