When you bring an animal into your home as a rescue, you adopt it with the intention of giving it the most loving home it will ever know. We adopted a 7 yo Bernese Mountain Dog and after 7 mos felt something was really wrong, more than his age, more than a hairball. We got him into see Dr. Chace right away and got the news everyone dreads..."There is Nothing you can do but make him comfortable." FYI Dr. Chace also owns 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs for those of you who want a vet with insight to this wonderful breed. I would not want to have gone through the remaining month of our dogs life without Dr. Chace and his incredible caring staff! He always came to the phone when we had a concern, offered good suggestions and alternatives and if he could not come to the phone he would always return a call, not long after. We eventually were faced with putting our beloved family friend to sleep and before we did, we were comforted by his kind words. He is a wondreful human being who loves animals and understands what their owners are going through. We were permitted to stay with our wondreful dog as a family as long as we needed. It was very therapeutic, we were not rushed out the door. The good news is that we just adopted another Bernese last week and he is seeing our new family member tomorrow. I could not recommend a Veterinary practice more.

Not great. All the rooms are really dirty and covered in hair (like loads of hair). When I go to the Dr. I dont want to lay in someone elses table sheet and I certainly dont want my dog to either. The staff are less than helpful. My first time there I was instructed to put my dog on the scale and it was off by 20 lbs. They just entered her weight into the system that way anyhow. They also charged me for someone elses fecal sample. The vet there didnt even put my dog on the table and I was there for a check up as I had just adopted her. I called to get an appointment and they couldnt get me in for a full week. Farmington Animal Hospital is WAY better. The vet there spends time with you and actually takes the history and listens. The staff are also really nice and the place is clean.

I don not understand how anyone could negatively review this veterinary care center or the staff. I am not the type to write a review for anything, but this facility is superb and I feel I must chime in! We have two ferrets that we purchased and brought to AVC for their physicals and shots. The service was excellent, the nurses were excellent, and everyone was so informative since my husband and I are first time ferret owners. We called the vet before getting our second ferret, and they were so helpful with letting us know what the best procedure would be to introducing the new guy to our home. We recently adopted a cat and look forward to his first visit at AVC. They are so reasonably priced, and I appreciate their service and patience with all pet owners!

We brought our 3 month old puppy there for his first physical and the staff seemed great. Three days later my puppy developed kennel cough and my husband left a message for them to call as soon as they arrived in the office. One of the assistance called back and was very rude and actually hung up on my husband. I called back the next day and left a message for the office manager because I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt one bad employee wasnt going to make me bring my dog else where. They office never called me back. So as a result I will never return there and urge anyone who is looking for a vet dont go here. The staff is unprofessional and has no compassion for animals or their owners.

I can not say enough AMAZING things about Dr. Kelley - I dont know what I would have done without her kindness/support/and extra love she has giving to my Diesel. He has gone through a rough few months with cancer/heart problems, eye ulcer - everything all at once. A very scary time - Dr. Kelley pulled all her resources and helped us both through this difficult time. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Dr. Kelley and ALL of the staff at Advanced Veterinary!!!! Would not recommend. My rabbit, Khloe, needed surgery to remove an abscess on her face and they quoted it as costing $875 ($1200 if we wanted to spay her too). Brought her to Chippens Hill Vet and they quoted me $400 ($700 with a spay) for the same procedure. Thats a pretty big difference, especially when Chippens Hill is known to be more costly in general. We wont be looking at AVC for Khloe again.

We bring both of our cats to Dr. Chace, they love him and we trust him with our babies. He has been an excellent doctor, very thorough, goes over everything with us. He saved one of our babies from dying once and we are forever grateful to him for saving her(Marble Giza, in case you are looking doc).Thank you Advanced Veterinary Care!!!!

Dr. Chace is an excellent rabbit vet, and weve been very pleased with his attention to our buns. Some vet places can get very loud for rabbits, but the noise level here is low and they get you into an exam room quickly. Everyone there is very courteous and concerned. I recommend this practice to anyone, but especially house rabbit owners!
