HIs office staff were the rudest people I have ever met, My daughter came in from out of town to see the dr. She was never told she needed a picture id. I was with her and I was told that they would not see her because they could not prove who she was. Her rash is so bad that twice she has been to the er. The office told her the only thing she needed was her lists of medications. To make matters worse the women at the desk was smirking as she said that there was no way they would see my daughter because she had no picture id. I was horrified that she could be so condescending. She is over 18 but in need of help. She did have an appointment and was refused help. If this is the way this doctor handles his business then I feel sorry for the patients. I also heard this same person tell a man that he had to pay before he even saw the dr. He told her he would not pay until after since the dr had already kept him waiting for over 45 minutes. This is not the way a professional should handle things. While it was not the doctor he needs to be aware of how his patients are treated. I will not tell anyone ot seek this mans help.

I have seen Dr. Dubin on two referral occasions. Once for my son and once for myself. I was very impressed with his quick diagnosis on my sons skin condition until he told me that his condition was hereditary, trust me, I confer with family first... noone has this in either side of our family. My standard doctor was surprised with what I felt was a bad experience. Second attempt was for myself, I couldnt get a word in and when he felt my "15 minutes" was up he actually stood up and told me to take my purse while I was still explaining the situation to him... Had I felt listened to, I may have gotten out of there in 13 minutes on my own! I have an HMO, do you think he knows this and decides how to treat each based on his negotiated compensation??? Cant wait to see what this health care reform brings.

If I could give this doctor zero stars, I would. For the record, I have never taken the time to review a doctor in the past, and I hope I will never have to again. He is rude, not honest, and demeaning. He compared my wanting to remove a mole on the side of my face to an age spot on his hand, inferring that I was vain for wanting it removed. He spent less than five minutes with me and refused to even answer a secondary question I had as it wasnt on my "referral". If you have options, go somewhere else. I have surely heard of "quacks" from others, but this was the first time I have had the "privilege" of meeting one for myself. Beware.

Total Nimrod. Waited a month for an appointment. His assistant spends 10 minutes taking my information. I wait another 10. Dr. walks in checks the 2 growths I had concerns with. Said "Youre getting older. These are typical" - and leaves the room. I had 5 minutes tops with this guy. And today - I learned hed misdiagnosed one of the most common skin growths: a solar keratorsis that another nurse practitioner from a different practice that removed two in under 30 minutes - same visit. He charged $350 for 5 minutes of worthless banter and no treatment. Avoid this pompous ass and save your money. Might save your life too.

Took my 4 year old son in for a bad reaction he was having. He took one look at my son and said that it was from a bite and basically refused to answer any of my follow up questions about the bite or the several other bumps/rashes on his body. He seemed annoyed that I would asked questions about the dx he gave my son and told me that I could take him to 5 different places and the answer would still be the same. I was so upset and disappointed by the way the visit went that I went to my pediatrician who took the time to look at my child and all the areas that the rash was located and explained to me exactly what was going on.

I was a bit skeptical about this place because of some of the reviews that had been posted, but decided to give them a try anyway, Im glad I did from the moment I walked in everyone was super nice, everyone I came in contact with from the doctor to the nurses were incredibly attentive they made me feel super comfortable, I have finally found a great group of people that I know will take care of my needs, a special thanks to Dr. Powles for taking such good care of me.

I would not recommend anyone here. I made an appointment for my teen sister who was having a lot of acne breakouts and Dr. Dubin said it was "normal" and only suggested a face wash and gave her a few lotion samples that didnt work. Please dont waste your time or money here, visit another dermatologist. He doesnt care about his patients. I am only choosing one star because zero is not an option.
