With full body eczema and a family history of melanoma, I normally check in with Dr. Steil or Dr. Bognet every so often. They are both extremely knowledgeable, thorough and helpful. A few years ago, I moved to a town pretty far from their office in Hinsdale and tried going to a few different dermatologists closer to my new place. They all stunk in comparison, including one particularly bad instance where a misdiagnosis of a viral skin infection landed me in the hospital for a whole week! After that, I made an appointment with Dr. Bognet... As soon as I started describing my symptoms to her, she knew exactly what the diagnosis should have been and how it should have been treated. I will never make the same mistake again- no matter how far I have to drive! I personally 100% recommend them to anyone with any skin conditions, as it seems they both stay on top of the current research and literature.

The worst practice!! Misdiagnosed a mole after a full mole check. Once I found out after seeing my internist a week after my appointment at Dr Steils office I called Dr Steil and she confirmed my Dr.s diagnosis and removed the mole but failed to perform a re check to see if any other moles were precancerous or should be biopsied. She was indifferent unprofessional and her staff lacked any type of compassion. Ironically while I was there for the first appointment I was charged for some type of burning of small growths on my chest that she failed to tell me was a cosmetic treatment and not covered by insurance. I addressed that with Dr Steil on my return visit and she told me I was not responsible for those service yet she sent me s bill. After many attempts to contact the office I was told that was too bad. Think twice before going here and being treated in such a deplorable manner.

I made an appointment with Dr Rachel Bognet for a skin rash on my foot which was bothering me and also for a possible skin cancer on my forehead that other dermatologists were not able to treat. She gave me a steroid ointment that worked the first day and was gone after only a few days.Dr Bognet did a biopsy on my forehead and it turned out to be cancerous. She surgically removed the layer of cancer, sewed it up beautifully, and took the stitches out today. I am a happy camper. This had been bothering me for 25 years and I had given up on it. Regardless of the distance involved, give Dr Bognet a chance to help you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
