I had an excellent experience on my last and first visit at skin MD, Dr. Welsh I believe answered my questions and addressed all my concerns. I just had a deep facial as well yesterday that was excellent. Kara is an awesome esthetician. My skin already looks better. I was offered a full body exam to which I declined since I had one very recent. The doctor visit was brief 10-15 min as expected, Drs are busy creatures with jammed schedules, so I dont know what some of reviews are complaining about it. It can feel intimidating to have your credit card on file, but lets face it. Most of procedures done here unless you have cancer or some "real condition" are consider cosmetic. Therefore not covered by insurance, so you will have to pay for it. Again, I dont see securing payment for something you will be responsible a terrible sin. Of course I do want to be informed of prices and costs prior, which so far I have. You should always ask, take some responsibility, dont sit silent in a chair and let someone perform a procedure without asking the obvious questions: how much it cost ? does my insurance cover this?. Consider Drs time and have 2-3 questions that really are important, Drs dont care about what you read on google, keep it concise you dont need to tell a whole story. Also know who to ask what? thats right, what type of skin do I have and what type of make up should I use? or what moisturizer is good? are probably better questions to a esthetician not the doctor, it seems obvious, but some people dont get that. When I meet my doctor I usually say doc I have 3 concerns, this rash on my face, this mole, this brown spots, I have hx of ... dz and on ... meds,. I never left without an answer, but I use the time wisely and go straight to the point. Anyways, I would give 5 stars but they send it my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, which they have corrected promptly.

Im currently in school to become an Esthetician, I came to get a body check and help with my acne. Dr. Mona Gandhi was my doctor and I was very excited to have a female doctor I felt I could chat with and ask all the questions I pleased. Not the case. She completely avoided all of my questions and jumped straight to my body check, removing one mole and let her, very sweet, assistant tell me how I should be taking care of it after the procedure. I then tried to ask my questions about my skin, when she started to tell me she doesnt understand or believe in the Esthetics world and couldnt help me with my questions on my concerns, home care regimins or makeup. She put me on some Ointments- where I can no longer wax or take part in facials and things at school (which is exactly what I asked not too happen.) and with that she left the room. Leaving the assistant to do all the important parts of her job. I left confused at what just happen in those only, 15 minutes!! I now have just gotten the product in the mail and had too learn how to use it by reading up on it myself! 3 days of using it and I look like a burn victim. I have way worse acne before and I am overly red and irritated and mortified with the career I am supposed to be showing myself in. It is way more noticable then the mere teen acne that was surfacing my face before. I am super disappointed with my experience and I am very hesitant at going back to even get my face relooked at.

I took my 19 yr old for a consult on laser work for acne. I was told by phone about the $100 consult fee which would apply towards procedure. Fine. Never told that they require his Social security number. When we arrived, we were given several forms to complete. While completing forms, they took my $100 by credit card. Completed all forms except sons Social. As a full-time student, he is still my dependent. I dont have his Social memorized and neither does he. They insisted on my Insurance card, even though I told them this is an elective procedure and does not qualify for insurance. I AM PAYING CASH. They refused to see my son because we didnt have his social security number. I guess we should have just made up a number. Considering we were paying cash and this was not being turned into insurance, there was no necessity for having his number. It just exposes him to potential identity theft - they couldnt provide us with any written privacy policy as to how they protect his information. The woman at the desk was EXTREMELY RUDE. She made no attempt to talk to anyone else, like the Physician to see if there could be another solution. I also had an appointment a few days later for a consult. They lost potentially about $5 - $10K of my business a year. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! GO ELSEWHERE.

Dr. Bielinski is my favorite dermatologist. I am beyond shocked about the mediocre reviews for him on here. I have crazy skin issues and have been to dermatologists all over the country, and he has been amazing in helping me with all my skin concerns. I have been an athlete all my life and didnt realize I had athletes foot for the last 20 years until I went to him. My itchy feet are no longer a problem, thank goodness. In addition I am allergic to sunscreen and he has helped me find the perfect products that I can use without becoming an inflamed mess. Being a sun baby from Florida, this has been a lifesaver for me! Lastly, his skin products are great. I will most likely use 2 of his face washes for the rest of my life. They are very light and great for my light acne issues. I swear by these face washes. The everyday face wash called knockout suds is great for makeup removal too so you dont need any other removal product, very low maintenance. The other one I have been using is the exfoliater (I forget the name). It makes your skin super soft. To sum up, I recommend Dr Bielinski for all your skincare needs. He is obviously a family man who cares for each of his patients.

I mistakenly went to see Dr. Gandhi thinking this was a Doctors office, I had three concerns one was correctly diagnosed but the only treatment offered was their own expensive line of product she basically refused to actually prescribe something at the pharmacy. The 2nd was an actual condition that was treatable with over the counter medications but she failed to diagnosis it her medical advice was to use udder cream and get a pedicure oh and I could try Nair um OK? Thanks to my my regular Dr I now have the proper medicine I should have started there. The 3rd concern wasnt really addressed since I was so freaked out that my Dr barely glanced at my feet and said get a pedicure. Its a very nice place but if youre looking for medical advice I would skip it. Its like going to a five star restaurant and finding a roach in your soup. I should have ran for the door when they required that I keep my credit card on file and will not notify me before they charge my card for the difference in what my insurance covers or what that charge may be. I guess people were refusing to pay for substandard medical advice
