Being new to Springboro, and having 2 13 year old dogs in need of annual appointments, we chose Bigger Road based on recommendation. Im sorry to say, I wish we would have gone elsewhere. One of our dogs needed dental work done. First pitch was 6 teeth need to come out. Estimate was given and appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks later to have the work done. On the day of the appointment, the Dr on staff that day decided against doing the work and wanting to put our dog under general anesthesia again, just a week later to have the work done. No consult was done with us to say "I feel we should delay a week until a Dr with more experience can handle the procedure". The decision was just made. Our first reaction was that its just a money grab. Had my wife and I both not called to express our frustration in their lack of communication, we would have been nickeled and dimed to death. Fast forward to today and the second procedure....turns out 17 teeth needed to be taken out and naturally the price was more expensive than originally quoted. Im ok with that, because I understand. But, when I went to pick my dog up, who was under anesthesia for 4 hours, and now we are $1700 lighter in the pocket in 2 weeks, do you think that the doctor had the courtesy to come out and meet me and go over post op with me? Nope. They sent a tech out. This is a husband and wife team at this vet. The wife was great for their exams. Shes very caring and genuinely cares about peoples pets. The husband...not so much. While he did call me after the procedure was done to explain everything and that the cost had gone up, I feel as though he doesnt care about his clients if he doesnt have the common courtesy to come out and greet the people who bring their pets in and trust him with them to be cared for. That move this evening, tells me that hes interested in money and not building rapport with his clients. We wont be returning as this place just nickels and dimes you for your money. I guess they have to pay for their fancy building somehow. For the well exam a few weeks prior, our bill for 2 dogs, a set of shots for each dog was almost $600. They asked that we bring them both back 2 weeks later for a second part of one of the shots. A booster. I was expecting to pay for the shots for both dogs. But when it was time to check out and pay for the shots, I was also hit with another exam fee for both dogs....even though they were both JUST SEEN 2 WEEKS EARLIER!!!! No communication from Drs or front desk about costs. Thats not a great way to run a business. Especially when treatment, shots, or whatever youre in for starts to creep up in cost. Terrible customer service in my opinion. As mentioned, we wont go back. Think twice about taking your pets to this place.
The service is caring, proficient and professional. By far the best vets that have taken care of my animals. Once, while caring for my dog, Tom, when I was in Europe, I received email updates each morning concerning his condition. Bigger Road Vets know how to take care of their clients and their patients.

The staff at Bigger Road Vet Clinic in Springboro rock! They are knowledgeable, caring and friendly. The service is excellent. The best indicator is - my pup loves going to the vet. They take the time to listen to your concerns and explain everything in detail. I wouldnt take my pet anywhere else.
The staff and care at Bigger Road Vets is first rate. I have been coming here for over 15 years and they have seen me through the joys and sorrows of pet owning with great compassion. I drive from Wilmington to Kettering for all my animal care.
Dr Crocker has done dental surgery on both our cat and dog. He and his staff are kind and very professional. Very pleased with care we received.
Love the staff at Bigger Road, as does my dog. And they obviously love her. I enjoy going in and trust my dog to them without question.
Theyre friendly, very helpful, and they take extra good care of our very anxious dog. I cant recommend them enough.
