My experience at this vet was very unpleasant. First off they were deceptive trying to get me to pay for an appointment when what was stated to me would be an acquaintance visit. I had called to schedule a teeth cleaning for my dog and advised that I already knew what the problem was. All I wanted was a teeth cleaning and nothing more because Id just had my dog examined and his problem was already diagnosed. Lindsey stated that they could clean my dogs teeth and gave me a price. When I wanted to schedule an appointment, she stated that would be great if I could just pop in and let them meet my dog and schedule the appt. THIS WAS NOT AN APPOINTMENT OR AN EXAMINATION, only an acquaintance meeting, to which she assured me there would be NO CHARGE. I had my daughter take the dog up there, and to my surprise they charged for an examination fee. When I advised my daughter and spoke to lady at the front desk and demanded a refund, she stated "It was up to the doctor, and that she could not give me a refund," when I asked to speak to the doctor, all of a sudden, the doctor was out to lunch. REALLY!!! If they are unwilling to settle a small misunderstanding such as this, I can only imagine how they treat animals. There is no way I would be able to leave my dog with such uncaring people. Total opposite of what they claim to be, "caring. No Way.

I needed to get shot records for my dog on a Saturday May 31, 2014. I went in at approx. 10:00 am. In the parking lot, on my way in, my dog started acting real strange, thrashing his head from side to side and was non responsive. That only lasted a about thirty to forty five seconds. Then he appeared to be fine. I thought maybe he had a seizure. I went inside and told the lady at the front desk what had just happened in their parking lot and she told me it would be three to four hours before the "doctor" could see my dog.I felt as though that was a medical emergency and that my dog should have been looked at by someone. I am sure that nobody there would have minded my dog being seen, considering the circumstances. Still being upset, I called their office on Monday to attempt to notify the "doctor" of the incident. I spoke with Paula and she told me that she would have him call me back. Needless to say, I never got a returned call from anyone, not even an apology. SO. as I will no longer be using them for my pet, I also intend to blast them on social media as much as possible. Thanks so much for reading and I hope if your pet is a patient, you will consider your options!!!

Dr. Busbin and his team are the best. They have cared for mine and my familys dogs for several years. He helped to diagnose and prolong the life of my dog Sky. Sky in 2008 was diagnosed and was placed on a treatment for Polycythemia by Dr. Busbin. This was after months of her having seizures and fainting spells that couldnt be figured out. Once she started treatment she improved and the seizures/fainting spells stopped. Earlier in 2015 she had a growth on her foot resulting in her at the age of 15 going through surgery to have her toe amputated. She came through with flying colors. On November 27th, 2015, Helped me with my toughest decision in the 16 years of her life to finally say goodbye to her. She was loved by everyone she met. He is the best vet I have ever used and Strongly suggest you use him. Sky will be greatly missed by me and my family. I know losing this dog hit him hard too. Thank you Dr. Busbin for all your work. Sky owed many years added to her life due to you. Sky Wright 11/1999 - 11/2015

We have used Memorial Drive Veterinary Clinic even before it was Memorial Drive Veterinary Clinic. They were our choice of doctors for our beloved animal family for over 50 years. First as Dr. Lindseys Veterinary Clinic on Solomon Street until the present as Memorial Drive Veterinary Clinic. They have tended to all of our animals from ducks, dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, even a few wildlife rescues. They took care of my concerns even when it was not in their best interest. This is why if anyone asked me "Where is a good Veterinary office? " I am proud and glad to tell them "Why there is only one in Griffin in my opinion, and that is Memorial Drive Veterinary Clinic." Dr. Jacobs, Dr. Barlow, Dr. Busbin or Dr. Averett, cant be beat. Of Course I do sorely miss Dr. Herbert Lindsey, April 30, 1924 - August 25, 2011, but his legacy lives on as Memorial Drive Veterinary Clinic.

The staff is friendly, helpful and they make you feel welcome here. I always refer people to Memorial Drive Vet Clinic because I dont trust just anybody with my Chihuahuas. I want to personally think Dr. Barlow and Dr. Busbin because they are great with my pets and handle them with care. I will keep bringing my pets here and I honestly have no complaints. My Chihuahuas are in great hands and to me that is important because our chihuahuas are our babies. So I highly recommend Memorial Drive Veterinarian Clinic especially if you have smaller pets because not every Vet knows how to tend to little ones and their needs.

These are the BEST Vets EVER!!!!! We have been using them for years now, with several dogs and cats, and they give you and your pets so much attention. We never have long to wait to be seen, and their customer service is EXCELLENT! When our dog passed, they sent a card with everyones signature and memories of our beloved Max...you DON"T get that from just any vet. My wife and I travel a lot, and their boarding service is great as well. Our overall experience with Memorial Drive Vet Clinic is theyre not just vets, but you truly feel like theyre family! Your Pets will thank you for taking them there!!!!!!!!
