Dont make the mistake of signing with this company, they are 100% dishonest!!! Do yourself a favor and Google the company and look for reviews by other nurses and techs. American Mobile is buying up all the "small" travel companies & keeping the names of the companies. Its a deceptive tactic and nothing more then bait and switch. When you think youre signing with Onward Healthcare (among others), you are really in contract with American Mobile. Its becoming a monopoly and the Federal Trade Commission will probably be looking into it soon. My recruiter, Cari McWilliams sent me offers that included bonuses and guaranteed hours & was pressuring me to sign a contract, but none of the promises are documented in the contract. The contract doesnt guarantee hours, it actually states that you will be penalized if you miss hours. You will be fined $219 per day if you get cancelled by the hospital or call in sick, and your housing and meal stipends will be charge to you for the missed shifts. In my case, I would have been fined $361/day + $408/day = $796 for one missed day of work. That is even if the hospital cancelled you! The employees are actually paying the employer!!! When I specifically asked about this, my recruiter Cari McWilliams, and a manager Emily Ackerman at American Mobile Healthcare, never replied with a response. They wont even tell you what the policy and pay is for overtime, let alone, if the pay period is weekly or every other week. When a company wont disclose what their pay period is, they have something to hide! American Mobile Nurses/Onward Healthcare will tell you that (example) Kaiser Hospital has accepted you & give you a start date, when in reality, the hospital hasnt even received your completed credential packet. Its a complete lie. They have an exclusive contract with Kaiser & will tell you if you dont fulfill your contract with American Mobile Healthcare / American Mobile Nurses, that you will be permanently blacklisted from working at any Kaiser. Ever. I was scheduled to start a travel contract on 12/28/15, then it got bumped to 1/4/16, then bumped again to 1/5/16. On the night of the 4th, I received an email stating that the job wasnt going to start until 1/11/16. I had already arranged for housing, moved, & was ready to start work the next day! They also neglect to tell you about having to take a series of exams once you get to your new job. If you dont pass the tests, your contract is terminated immediately. Nurses have moved across the country, only to have their contracts terminated on the first day. American Mobile Healthcare/ American Mobile Nurses is hands down the most unprofessional, deceptive and sketchy company I have ever dealt with.

I have been with this company for almost three years, and they have always been professional and very prompt when it comes to any problems that I have encountered. My recruiter and I work very well together, and whatever that I have ever needed she, or another member of the team has always provided. They are like a part of my family. I have never had a bad experience with this company at all. I did work on an assignment with another company Soliant ,and that was a horrible experience for me. I called my recruiter they helped me in that rough time, even helping me and giving me the option to get out of a very unprofessional situation. I saw first hand how AMN treats their employees with respect, dignity, and they will do anything to help you. That has been my experience and I will no longer work with more than one travel company. I will only work with AMN. RN-NC

Others may say its too soon to say how great AMN Mobile Healthcare when it comes to them doing what they do best! Especially for me who just started for merely a month. Despite this short period of time all I can say they really are good it what they do and thats Changing Lives! I for one can testify to that for my current employment. They have assisted me 101% And I say theyre definitely the People you should get in contact with if you want to work with the utmost convenience from application, credentialing, health screening, job offers, contract signing, employment and so on. Effortless on my part! And a job well done on theirs! Ill never regret the day I decided Ill be a part of AMN and I hopefully pray for more blessing to us. Its the perfect time! I myself witnessed this awesome experience!

I have worked with this company for almost 2 years and never had a bad experience. They have placed me at some of the top hospitals in the country and the pay is competitive to industry standards. True, there are agencies out there that may pay better but it all evens out in the wash sometimes. I have a great relationship with my recruiter (Heather Murray) and that is one of the reasons I have stayed with American Mobile. Some people have a bad experience with one recruiter and they end up tainting the reputation of the company. That is unfortunate. I dont have anything bad to say about AMN, they have been on my side since day one and happy to recommend them to those that can get past all the negative rap.

Please do not sign with AMN, constant dissapointed, terrible costumer service, bad contracts, and overall just not a great company to work for, I spent a year trying to get different assignments, they kept telling me to resign with the same hospital. The last draw was when I was sent to a contract without being cleared to start with hospital, I was never told, and it resulted in me being unemployed for a month without any fault or compensation from AMN, not even an apology! So please please choose a different company!!

Ive been traveling for a little over a year now, and Ive had a positive experience with Jenna and AMN. They have helped me find assignments in the areas I was interested in, and have advocated for me when it comes to ironing out the details of the contracts. They are the only company I have worked with, so I cant speak for everyones experience, but I would recommend them. I feel like they have helped me advance my career, see new parts of the country, and be fairly compensated.

I have worked with Jenna at American Mobile and am completely satisfied with her. She cares, is patient with me when I dont understand or having some issue at an assignment and she goes out of her way to make sure an issue is corrected. She works hard to find me an assignment that is in the area of the country I desire to work and the area of nursing that I work in. Because of her I would highly recommend AMN as a travel company.

Please NEVER work for this company. They will lie and deceive you to get you to sign a contract and them refuse to give you what they offered. They will never give you any pay packages over the phone so there is no way to track what theyve previously offered. If youre looking for an immoral company to work for to represent you in the healthcare business, this is it!

Lots of good assignments, I am always paid on time even when the facility drops the ball and doesnt send in my time sheet. My only concern is with turnover in their support staff. I am on my fourth recruiter, my fifth customer service rep, and my fifth or sixth credentialing rep.
