I want to write a thank you to everyone at Delta Home Care for all they have done over these last few months, as they have been hard. My grandmother suffers from a number of health issues, chiefly related to alcohol abuse since the death of her husband years ago. A stroke finally left her with limited use of her left arm. My father and I knew she couldnt live alone anymore, but were also aware she would never cooperate with going to a nursing home. I love my nana very much but she is very headstrong and can be disagreeable and fussy and is definitely a challenge to take care of, certainly more than the two of us could handle. Sherwin at Delta was a godsend. He found my Nana three nurses, all of whom were very professional, compassionate and competent, but my nana was so difficult and she rejected them all after less than a week. He was so understanding and dedicated to finding not just adequate, but exceptional care for my Nana. Just today, I visited Nana with nurse number four, Sara, who has been with us for almost three months now. They were playing cards together when I showed up unannounced and it looks like we have a match! Theres a little tear in my eye as I write thank you our team at Delta Home Care for really coming through for me, my father, and my Nana. We can all sleep well knowing she is in good hands. Delta is the best!

I just wanted to write a quick note to say thank you to all of the wonderful people from Delta Home Care. My father is approaching 84 years old and, although his mind is still quick, his body began failing him a few years ago. At first I was able to take care of him but, after a few months, I was completely exhausted and my personal relationship as well as my work were suffering. I had no idea that taking care of dad would be a stressful as it is but, from the day that the wonderful professionals from Delta HomeCare started coming out to the house, the stress that I have been feeling has let up quite a bit. Not only that but Dad really looks forward to their visits because, when they are here, they pay attention to him, listen to his stories and help him do the little things that make him happy. It has certainly made a difference in both his life, mine and our family and for that I am very grateful to Delta Home Care.

My mother’s mind and mental clarity are nearly as sharp as they were when she was younger but, unfortunately, her body has been breaking down over the last few years and it’s hard for her to do many of the daily tasks that we all take for granted. She lives with me and I was able to help at first but I am no caregiver and I’m also not the strongest person in town. When a friend of mine suggested I call Delta Home Care, at first I was hesitant because I thought I could do everything on my own. I’m glad I called them because not only do they take care of washing her, getting her dressed and all of those daily tasks we all face but they sit with her, hold her hand and talk to her so that she doesn’t feel so alone when I’m busy working or doing everything that I need to do. I simply wanted to write this small testimonial to say ‘thank you’ to everyone from Delta for all of their hard work and dedication.

My grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer and his health has started deteriorating but we did not want to send him to a nursing home and Delta Home Care has provided us with a great care taker to help out when the rest of the family goes to work. This has provided my grandma with some relief as she was getting old as well and hard for her to take care of my grandpa on her own. We now as a family can go to work knowing that my grandpa is being taken care of while we are away from home. This is all thanks to the help that Delta Home Care has provided us. Not only do they provide great caregivers but they also check in with us periodically to make sure that our needs are being met. Thanks Delta.

We called Delta after working with another agency who sent out several caregivers that my mother in law had not screened prior to working with her. It became overwhelming. Delta worked really hard to make sure we selected caregivers that we liked and that my mother in law liked as well. We loved that we could get a live person to answer anytime we called their office, and we really loved how easy they made it for us to let go of managing the care. They really stepped up and helped. Communication was great! They kept great records for us. We recommend them to anyone who needs nursing help at home.

Thank you Delta Home Care for your professionalism and understanding throughout our delicate situation. Having to place loved ones in the daily care of someone unknown is hard enough, but the staff at Delta Home Care were so understanding and helpful; sending kind and experienced caregivers - it made the transition to homehealth so smooth and easy. Now when we visit my Grandmother we see what a difference a good caregiver can make!! They are like a new extension to the family!! THANK YOU Delta!!

We had a very difficult time finding the right caregiver for dad. He is really particular about how people behave around him after the stroke. He referred to one of his first caregiver as Nurse Ratched. Delta spent more than enough time on us to find the right people to take care of dad, and were grateful. He wont allow us to do it because he is the provider. It really meant a lot that Deltas staff befriended dad and got a feeling for who would be best to take care of him. Highly recommended.

My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers last year and its been such a hard road. A friend referred me to Delta Home Health Care months ago and they have provided great home care for my mother. They have been wonderful to her and it has made it a little easier for us to cope with her illness. Im glad she is in such wonderful care. Thanks DELTA
