I recently had to relocate to Texas for my job. My mom wanted to stay in San Diego in our family home. Hardest thing I ever had to do is leave my mom alone. At 86 shes pretty healthy and keeps active. She does have plenty of friends but I was still very concerned about her being alone at night and handling chores on her own. I have to admit she can be pretty stubborn and feel she’s bothering people so she wont ask for help. A friend spoke to me about home care services as a possible solution to help my mom out at home. I talked to my mom about the idea and she of course didnt want to even hear about it. I went ahead and did some research and I have to be honest that I almost gave up. Its really hard finding, in my opinion, quality home care services that would cater to my moms basic everyday needs. Like I said, shes not sick, it was just peace of mind for me to know shes not alone and has the support she needs. I finally came across Adult Home Health Cares website and gave them a call. I was super impressed from the get go! I explained specifically what I would need for my mom and talked about her not liking the idea. The owner of the company came out to my moms house the same day I called. We had a great conversation and he even convinced my mom to try out their services. We were able to meet some caregivers and choose who we felt mom would get along with best. Three months later I cant even express how happy my mom is. The caregiver has become like a friend to us. She takes mom on errands, they go to the park or beach for walks and now my mom has a buddy to go to the zoo with. I sleep well every night knowing that mom doesnt have to worry about daily chores at home, driving to her doctors, cooking or getting groceries by herself. I just returned home for the holidays and was so pleased to see my mom in great spirits! The house looked great, and there was even homemade Christmas cookies waiting for me that both my mom and caregiver made. My doesnt bake! Ha Ha! Thank you Adult Home Health Care for bringing so much cheer to my mom not just during the holidays but every single day! You ROK!

I’m writing this in gratitude to Adult Home Health Care for the wonderful attention provided to my beloved mother. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to find a home care agency. After conducting a few interviews, I learned how different one agency can be from another. Every person I met with was very nice but I didn’t feel comfortable with their answers and solutions I personally felt would be the best for my mom. I fortunately found an Adult Home Health Care brochure at our doctors office, I checked out their website and read some reviews I found online. I was intrigued and called on a Saturday morning expecting to get a voice message where I would leave my information. To my surprise my call was answered and I spoke to a gentleman who answered all my questions and would be available to meet with me that same afternoon! I met with the owner Eric who came to my home in Escondido. Eric fully understood my concerns and the challenges my mother faced daily. Eric introduced me to his company’s care plan book which is customized to my mother’s care. He offered solutions and worked with me to create a schedule that works perfectly for my mother and I. It did not take long after our meeting to realize this was a no brainer. Their caregivers assigned to our case are so fantastic! Passionate, loving, and always on time. Finding the perfect home care services for my elderly father was one of the most important decisions our family ever had to make. Our father is an honorable veteran who proudly served our country for over 40 years. After our mother passed away my two brothers and I decided we needed extra support for dad. He suffers from early stages of dementia and we felt strongly that it would be better and mentally healthier for dad to stay at his home in Coronado. We went through a lengthy process to find the right home care provider. Adult Home Health Care of San Diego was an elite choice for us. They offer a premium service of care we felt would be significant to his health and well being. The caregivers assigned are very professional and demonstrate a true passion for what they do. They understand our father’s needs in detail. It’s convenient for us to follow up at any time with a care plan book each caregiver works out of that stays in the home. I truly appreciate that the owner, Eric, stays involved by checking in with me frequently and even making quality assurance visits to ensure dad’s care plan is being followed per our requests. There’s no question our father is in the best hands possible. We highly recommend Adult Home Health Care for their first-class service and reliability.

My husband and I took our time and interviewed many home care agencies. We are brand new to home care. Overall we felt that Adult Home Health Care was well rounded and the most professional of the few we interviewed. They got to know us and asked what we thought would be the ideal Caregiver. They listened to our needs and then suggested we meet a couple of their Caregivers. Both of their Caregivers were professional and friendly. We asked the other agencies if we could meet their Caregivers and they clearly didn’t listen to what our needs were because they brought us young inexperienced Caregivers. The choice was clear. We are so delighted that we found Adult Home Health Care. The owner Eric is knowledgeable, warm and friendly and he even waived the intake fee for us.

I would like to thank Adult Home Health Care. My grandmother is newly diagnosed with having Alzheimer’s disease and it was time that we had to take away the keys to her car. She was resistant because she felt like she was losing her independence. We researched many home care agencies and ultimately decided on Adult Home Health Care as they made the process very easy for my grandmother and our family. They explained the paperwork and the process upfront and we were able to meet a few of their caregivers before deciding on their agency. It was a tough pick because both their caregivers were qualified. In the end, it came down to my grandmother’s choice. My grandmother now has a wonderful caregiver that is her friend. Thank you for making this so easy for us.

From Ann Capenters: I have been using Adult Home Health Care for the past 2 years and they are nothing very professional and knowledgeable. They really do care about the care my grandma receives. She looks forward to her visits from them. Their caregiver is very nice and knows her stuff. Their prices are fair and the owners are always available to speak to when I needed to make a necessary change to her schedule. I chose them because they seemed to know what my grandma’s needs were and their skill-set seemed higher than some of the other home care agencies I’ve interviewed. Plus I really liked their Care Plan Book. 5 Stars. I can check it anytime to see how her care and health is doing. Thank you so much for being there for us.
