The doctors and staff are the best I’ve ever experienced. My dog, Faith, had been to 5 vet clinics over the first 9 years we had her due to moves. At her last clinic the vet had an extremely poor bedside manner, but I continued to go there just because the location was near my home. In early January 2017, Faith’s vet called late one night to say her blood work was “weird.” I was told I needed another test the following day because it was probably cancer of some sort but she wasn’t sure. I decided to get a second opinion. A close friend recommended Dr. Rapp. Faith did indeed have cancer, but the difference in how she and I were treated was like night and day. We only had 2 visits to Boerne Vet Clinic before we had to euthanize Faith. On each visit we coincidentally were treated by 2 different vets (Dr. Rapp & Dr. Wilson) – each equally caring & respectful. One vet even gave his personal phone number in case I had questions, since we had never had to go through letting go of a pet before. The night before we were scheduled to euthanize Faith, she had a seizure. The 3rd vet, which we had not seen in person, just happened to still be at the clinic and was willing to wait and take care of Faith. Dr. Arreola and at least 2 staff members stayed over an hour after closing in order for us to drive the 20 minutes to reach the clinic, say our goodbyes to Faith, and make sure she went peacefully. We were given as much time as we needed, and everyone was kind and helpful. Even when I went to pick up Faith’s remains a couple of weeks later, they treated them with reverence. The final gesture that demonstrated this clinic’s dedication to Faith (a dog each of them only met once) was when I received a letter from Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Center stating a donation had been made in her name to support the Capper and Chris Save the Animals Fund. After our first visit to Boerne Vet Clinic, I knew I had made the right decision, and even before receiving the letter of donation I knew that any future pets we may have will only be treated at Boerne Vet Clinic.

The staff and Doctors at Boerne Vet Clinic are caring and compassionate towards the animals in their care as well as the owners. When I first arrived I felt immediately at rest, calm and assured. After having a devastating experience at another local vet hospital , my dog and I were anxious about what lie ahead. We were pleasantly surprised . My dogs records, due to special needs are quite extensive. Dr. "A" took the time to read through all of them prior to our appointment. My dogs were the ultimate judges! My boy with anxiety and diabetes took himself to the ground, paws up in the air for belly rubs from Dr. "A" . He only does this when hes happy & for special people. Dr. Rapp stopped by the exam room as well to meet the new patients and their pack. The staff at Boerne Vet Clinic helped make us feel as if we were part of their family/ We look forward to a lasting relationship!

As someone whos not even the owner of the dog(s) that I had to take to this clinic they were very detailed and kept me informed even in the slightest of details of what they were doing or were needing to do. It was very convenient due to the fact that I had to relay all this information to the owners. Also might I add that they didnt have any openings yet due to the circumstances they allowed me to walk in and have Ana checked out and taken care of. Very friendly and very respectable establishment. Highly highly highly recommended.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Rapp and Dr. Arreola, theyve been taken care of our 4 legged family members since 2000 and will always be grateful for the patience and services they provide. The staff is always top notch.

Super clean inside and the whole staff is very nice. I took in my 2 cats, one of which I wanted to spay and Dr. Arreola offered to perform the surgery that day. She was wonderful! Everything youd want in a veterinary.
