I have spent many years bouncing around from vet to vet, always unsatisfied with their level of care and concern for my animals not quite matching my own. Despite my in-laws using Guilbeau Station Animal Hospital for 12 years+ (with high recommendations), I only recently took my cocker spaniel to see Dr. Henry. Wow! He is a highly intelligent, caring, and compassionate doctor! He always has the animals best interests in mind, but also understand peoples situations and is flexible. He stays current on the literature and always has the best recommendations to date. Coincidentally, many people I know use Dr. Henry, and we all have the same opinion of him and his staff: "the best vet ever!".

OK, so I am biased. Dr. Henry is my brother. But Ive had dogs and cats for two decades, and there is no one I trust more with their health. Hes been there and done that for decades---and you want that kind of experience and expertise for your "kids." His staff is the greatest, unlike the vet and staff in California, none of whom remembered me from visit to visit (and I was there often). I live near Austin now, and there is a vet just 5 miles from me. I drive 90 miles to his place because I know hell give my dogs the best care in the most relaxed environment.

I called at 10:30 am to try to get an appointment for daughter cat that has an eye infection. I was informed by receptionist that the vet was busy and wouldnt be there past 12 on Thursdays but I could set an appointment for sometime next week to be seen but was reminded of the 12 oclock rule on Thursdays regarding appointments. Well I know not to ever try to use this place. They havent changed the name on their business sign after changing names of business . Should have paid attention to it and treated like a red flag

Dr. Henry and his staff are amazing. He saved my 10 year old cats life. Dr. Henry took a very sick cat (who had dropped from 13 pounds to 6 pounds, while another vet at a different place was trying to figure it out) and skillfully diagnosed histoplasmosis. Shadow wouldnt be here today without Dr. Henry. One dedicated, hard working vet....will the knowledge and skills to assess and treat the most complicated situations. Thank you!!!!!

This is by far the best vet I have tried in San Antonio! Ive been to some pretty terrible places here in the last 20 years and now I will only go to Dr. Henry and Dr. Lambert. They are extremely knowledgeable and they really do care! Dr. Henry actually returns emergency messages left on the after hours line.They have always taken care of my babies and have been kind and fair to me.

For over 20 years Dr Henry and his superb staff took care of my cats. HAD it not been for him I wouldnt have had my beloved Gidget for over 20 years. THEY took care of her with dignity and live that entire time. Even after moving from San Antonio I would still call for advice and it was never refused. God Bless them all for the loving care they provide.

Short wait, decent price, and more importantly they treated my cat and I like they actually cared, unlike most vets who just want to hurry on to the next patient. I adored how loving and calm they were towards my cat; it helped her not to be so scared. These are good, genuine people that actually care about your pet. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Honest and friendly folks. I took my pup there because she had a broken nail. I had never been there before, but went there because they were the first ones that could see her. They filed the nail down and put some powder on it. The kicker is they didnt charge me a dime. Now they are my go to vet for my pup. I highly recommend them.

Nice doctors and staff. Werent able to get us in for over a week the last two times our dog has been sick. Sick dogs cant wait a week to be seen. The receptionist/scheduler didnt show empathy for this existing patient so were hoping to find more compassionate and timely care elsewhere.

They are so good to me and my animals. I love them. One of our cats passed away during a emergency visit and the doctor was fighting back tears when telling use he had passed. They are a staff of kind hearts and true animal lovers.

GREAT VET WHO IS HELPFUL AND ANSWERS ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS YOU HAVE. VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD WITH ANIMALS--- CARES FOR THEM AS THOUGH EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM WERE HIS OWN. HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER SINCE 2001 AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE.
