Dr. Fradkin has been our veterinarian for more than 15 years, even before she had her own clinic. Over the years Dr. Fradkin has cared for five of our dogs from 150 pound OMalley to 26 pound Buddy, pure breads to mutts. Her staff and she have consistantly and lovingly provided the best of care and excellent boarding and grooming. I never worry when one of our sweet doggies has been sick or has required surgery, but our dogs rarely get ill due to the outstanding preventative care Dr. Fradkin provides and educates us on how to follow through with this preventative care. Our son, John, would drive with his dog, Kaily, from Ft. Hood, Texas so Dr. Fradkin could care for Kaily. John is an Aggie graduate like Dr. Fradkin, so he has an intimate appreciation for her extensive education and training in animal care. John said, "I have never had a better veterinarian than Dr. Fradkin. He is currently posted in Arizona. Boarding at the Dr. Fradkins Bergheim Pet Hospital & Clinc is almost a spa retreat for our doggies. A favorite feature is that they walk each dog outside in the gorgeous countryside for exercise every day! The groomer at BPHC is one of the best and does a terrific job! We almost always ask for our doggies to be bathed and groomed prior to pickup, and they are always healthy, well groomed and happy when we pick them up! The entire staff at BPHC has given and gives special attention to each and every one of the members of our furry family. We make a 40 minute drive from San Antonio to be CERTAIN they they receive the very best of care! nsm jam

We have been clients of Dr. Fradkin for over 12 years, and she has always been nothing but very thorough and professional and loving with our Abby girl (and us). She consistently provides thorough explanations of everything she is suggesting we do, and she answers our questions, ensuring we understand. We will ALWAYS great appreciate and NEVER forget the love and kindness displayed when our then 11 year old labby girl Abby was diagnosed with lymphoma. Dr. Fradkin did initial testing to diagnose it, and then she gave us the needed referral to an oncologist, and she worked with the office to get Abby in asap. Dr. Fradkin told us what to do and most importantly what NOT to do before Abby was seen by the specialist. She also did not do any other testing, since she knew the onco would need to do it for treatment purposes. When the dreaded time came for our girl to go to Heaven, Dr. Fradkin accommodated our wishes so WE the owners could be comfortable, as well as our girl. We are without a dog right now, but rest assured, when we get another, we will continue our treks to Bergheim from far north San Antonio so we know she will get the best care possible. Thank you again, Dr. Fradkin and staff!!

My family and I have been with the Bergheim Pet Hospital for many years. Dawn, Marissa and the entire team are always a pleasure and treat us and our dogs well. Dawn is a straight shooter and I appreciate the great service she and her team provide. They constantly send reminders, both electronic and in the mail and we appreciate that. Most recently my family lost a few dogs to old age and another to a dog attack and the Bergheim P.H. team was very compassionate. To complicate the matter, we got a few puppies from a not so reputable breeder and they worked with us through that crappy situation. If you are in the Bergheim, Fair Oaks, Bulverde, Spring Branch, Boerne area....I encourage you to give them a shot. Your pets will appreciate it!

All five of my dogs, including two diabetic and blind dogs, are in the best hands ever with Dr. Dawn Fradkin and her staff. I am in at least once every two weeks for food and feel like Chris and Marisa and Amanda are family. We did have six dogs when we moved here two years ago and Dr. Fradkin was so kind and helpful with the loss of our 17 year old lab a few months ago. Gretchen is "the dog whisperer", she just "connects" with all of my dogs and her grooming skills are fantastic! I really hate to write this review because when everyone finds out how great this vet clinic is I am afraid I will never get an appointment!!!!!

I was able to get an appointment the same day I requested. Dr. Fradkin provided me with all the information I needed and help me out as much as possible. One of my cats had worms, I was able to have a prescription filled, which I was able to pick at their office during my lunch break. I was able to get all that done by communicating through email which works best for me. Long story short, Dr. Fradkin and staff are very accommodating and do their best to meet your needs. They are the best!

Dr. Fradkin has been an wonderful vet and has helped us with every imaginable issue with our cats. From new babies to crossing the rainbow bridge for one; she has helped us every step of the way. Very caring and knowledge staff. They also do a nice job with boarding animals. They come home smelling clean and look well cared for. I would recommend Dr. Fradkin and her clinic and staff to anyone and everyone. JB

Just had my havanese groomed this week, and the new groomer did a fantastic job. Probably the best grooming service weve ever had in any state weve lived in. Not only was the cut perfect, there was no obnoxious powder smell to come home and wash off! It took less than 2 hours and the price was lower than I expected and much lower than anywhere else weve tried in Boerne.

I have been taking both dogs to Dr. Dawn ever since she opened her office in Bergheim. She seems to be very caring and has taken great care of my shih Tzu puppies. Gretchen also grooms them every month and makes them look so pretty and smell so good. Both dogs love her. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new vet or groomer. The staff is great.

We are currently without a pet after many years but are dog sitting our granddog, Bella. Bella lives in Columbus, TX most of the time but our son-in-law uses Dr. Fradkin due to his past experience with her. They have always shown genuine concern for all of our pets really want them to do well. When we adopt another in the near future we will be using them again.

LOVE Bergheim Pet Hospital....everyone there is so caring for all the animals. They always remember Sophies name....and love having her there for grooming! I feel very comfortable taking our pets there for medical care and know they will be well taken care of. The facilities are extremely clean and stocked with healthy foods. They truly are the best!!!

Our Shorkie loves her care at the Bergheim Pet Hospital & Clinic. We wont take her anywhere else. Gretchen does her grooming and she responds very well. The techs love her and even allow her to sit with them when she boards there. We feel very secure with Dr. Dawn and highly recommend their service!
