OK this all started January 18, 2017, we decided to buy a chocolate Labrador Retriever...all was well until, per the contract at Petland of Frisco,TX we had to get initial check ups with this Vet clinic. So we go in the guy who Ill describe as Humpty Dumpty and likes to rock back and forth and stand on his Tippie toes, made us believe that our dog will likely have Giordia and or parasites says definitely for sure. So, we go pay $20 for parasites. ..minutes later. .test is negative remember this part OK. ..we then after he lectures like no one else is educated in Texas. ..we pay $30 for Giordia, he comes back says "slight" Giordia your dog needs antibiotics OK, nothing bad there but why "slight" and not yes positive or no the dog doesnt have anything wrong with it? Well, he then lectures and rocks on his toes again says, " I would recommend a CBC test be done for $75 to see what kind of antibiotics your dog needs cause these Ill gladly give you may not be as strong or they might be. " This guy has learned the words to steal by charging unnecessary testing on the wealthy and poor around even Frisco,TX wow. .come on people I know you make a great living but weve been blinded by nice intellectual talk, this guy the vetenarian gave my dog antibiotics for six days. ..when I dont believe my Labrador Retriever pup of two months old needed anything except for kettle cough. Well it doesnt end there. ..prior and on same day of the FREE follow up visit I tripple check and ask, "am I going to be charged for a follow up just in and out no charge?" The ladies each time tell me no, and once in person. Amy or Shannon, well Amy blames Shannon.. says on today I show up for the follow up 02/06/2017 your dog can only be tested if you pay $20, outrageous. ..they the staff told me no charge. ..so we. Me and Amy go back and forth she says"Ill do what I can. " says finally no charge, I then told her Im not getting shots nor will I spay my dog here too expensive $250 for shots on what they call pet#2 and#3 shots I go to Carrollton TX get those same shots /vaccines all of them for under $100, Im not lying oops theres proof you can call. So Amy comes in after leaving says your " your pup has slight parasites.? Remember they use word "SLIGHT." YES folks slight is there middle name to shove antibiotics down your dogs throat which thank God theyre not probably going to die, or will they? So, she comes in with Vet-Doctor/ Humpty Dumpty he talks to me like hes firing me from a job, " well per our contract with Petland of Frisco, TX if youre not going to get the shots nor the spaying done here I will not give you the antibiotics anymore." Remember he the vet- doctor said my dog has parasites. So I leave, I told Amy, Ill put this on my review....I go straight to a Vet clinic in Farmers Branch, TX weve been to in the past a long time ago. ..checked for parasites. ..guess what? NO Parasites. ..I know crazy right, how long has this Family vet clinic been intentionally been charging people money. ..like you. ..yes you or your mom, or your friends and these inoccent animals have been clear- free of any parasites, Giordia, or any other unnecessary tests? The answer lies in your lawyers who you need to hire to get this guy stopped cause Im poor but you may not be. ..

The only reason I come to this place was because I bought an English bulldog and it required to visit Family Pet Center within 3 days for a check up!! FIRST of all I should had done the research on Perland its the worse place to ever buy a puppy from!! They tell you they have a vet who comes and checks on them and EVERYTHKMG SEEMS FINE. But why will a doctor put a sick puppy with the rest of the puppys for? So they can get contagious ?!?! To make more money by taking them to the vet I just dont understand why will they put a sick puppy with the rest of the puppys for!!! SECOND... I have been blamed by Dr. Flowers that I am the problem and that I dont give proper medication or even take care of my pets!!! LIKE SERIOUSLY DUDE...who pays you to give your damn opinion its not important to me what you think just do your damn job and save my puppy!!! this place I do not trust! We have spent about 10 thousands dollars already with the purchase of this puppy plus medical expenses!!! My first puppy passed away and Petland gave us a new puppy and now this puppy is sick!!! AND GUESS WHOS THE BLAME!!! YESSSSSS MEEEEE!!! They are all just a pair of hypocrites in here they tell me one thing and when theres a problem I remind them what they told me and they come up with "no i never said that"!!!! Not sure if they just dont want to be wrong but get some pair of balls and deal with it ! Petland and you both suck and I feel so sorry for all those pets you guys hurt they dont deserve this. All they want is to be happy and have people to love them!! Please do your research !! My English bulldog 2nd puppy less than 2 months is very ill and we have no hope! Petland will not do refunds but will only make you get a new puppy!!! And we can guarantee you it will happen again and be sick!! I have also done a report on BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!! Its just not fair how they are treating me for the blame and Im doing everything possible for them to be ok and in good health!!!

AMAZING!! I had read the reviews and specifically one written by Isaac. I got my new puppy two weeks ago and when I made my first appointment they advised I would have a 30USD charge for the parasite test. In fact the reminder text for the appointment even confirmed the charge. I feel the entire staff is up front, organized, and truly care about not just the fur babies but the parents as well. I was so impressed by the team I just took my two other little ones there today as well. Amy knows me by name and always takes the time to hold and acknowledge each of my little ones. I forgot the names of the other two kind ladies at the front but all three of them are AWESOME!!! I find the clinic to be very reasonable with pricing and do not overcharge for services or medications compared to many other veterinarians and online medication companies. I drive 45 minutes each way to get to Frisco and it is worth it... A++++++++

We had a great experience with the staff here at Family Pet Center. Great customer service, and the doc is top notch! Hes a Great Dane lover just like we are! Gave us some really good insight into a procedure we were thinking about having done, and was able to give us a referral to someone who gave our pup the surgery she needed!

I have known the Veterinarians and Staff of Family Pet Center for several years and absolutely love them and the care they give my babies. I dont even live in the Frisco area any longer, but still depend on them for my Veterinary needs.
