On Saturday, February 14th, my day began as any other. I woke up early and prepared for my day. It was Valentines day and to show appreciation and care for my pet rabbit, (Parker), I decided to take him in for grooming at this location. He left my home that morning as a happy, bouncing rabbit. I dropped him off at 8:00 a.m. and ran a few errands awaiting a phone call to come pick him up. While doing a little shopping, I received a call from Dr. Maxwell asking if my rabbit had any history of seizures?? I immediately said no and panicked right away. He told me that my 4 year old, perfectly healthy rabbit had just had a seizure and was shaking uncontrollably. I immediately lost it. I did not know what to do!!!! I immediately left the store and tears ran down my eyes. What happened to my healthy rabbit???? I went to the hospital to visit him and saw him lying on a heating pad looking close to death. I however, had hope. I was in disbelief, shock, disgust...all at one time. While at the hospital Dr. Maxwell advised me that he simply was not aware what occurred and what caused my rabbit to have a "seizure". He stated that he wanted to keep Parker for the afternoon under observation. I left the clinic just wondering what was going on??? An hour later I get a call from Dr. Maxwell stating that Parker was possibly hypoglycemic. He gave him a few sugary fluids and he started to respond. He told me that he had hopes that he would be able to come home today, but wasnt sure. He advised me to come in around 2pm to determine the next step. Once again, lets all keep in mind he was being simply dropped off to be GROOMED. I arrived back at the hospital at 2 thinking my bunny would be healthy and possibly ready to come home with me. Quite the contrary. Dr. Maxwell advised that Parker was still not as responsive as he should be and that he would prefer to take him home over the weekend for observation as he believed that he may have not been responsive due to the medication he received earlier that day. When I saw Parker he was still very much out of it. Drowsy, kicking his little legs, but not able to stand or hop. IT HURT MY HEART. I just didnt understand what and how this happened!!!! I agreed to let the vet take him home as I knew that I would not be able to care of him on my own without any medical knowledge. Little did I know, that would be the LAST time I saw my Parker alive!!!!!! The very next day, I received a call from Dr. Maxwell stating to me that my precious rabbit of 4 years passed away!!!! 24 hours prior I had a happy, healthy rabbit and the very next day....dead. I was beside myself and now about 2 weeks later Im still inconsolable. I struggled internally about writing this review because I cannot say it was the groomer who caused his death, but I also cant say it was NOT the groomer that caused his death. What I would say is that I HIGHLY recommend that you keep your pets as far away from this place as possible if you want to see them alive!!! I simply would not take the chance. I will never know what happened to my Parker, but I do know they will never receive my business if my heart ever heals enough to get another pet!! Im left with the questions of what happened and I will always wonder. I wish this on no one. STAY AWAY!!!

This review is based on the office staff not the vet. We had submitted an online appointment request and got no response so we called to book an appointment. I needed to have my 8 week old bulldog seen for an exam after we got him. Kim booked us for Monday at 3:40pm. Over the weekend our puppy started having diarrhea. When I got there on Monday I checked in and filled out paperwork while everyone passed around my dog to love on him. After I waited I was then told that I had a 3pm appointment and they dont have time to see my dog. They scheduled him to come back on Thursday and sent me home. When I got home I got on my work computer and played the recorded call of when I booked the appointment and it was scheduled for 3:40. Kim lied about my appointment time and made me question myself. She also lied to me about not being the one that booked my appointment. I called their office to express my frustration and talk about my sick dog that now has to wait even longer to be seen. Maybe they could give me advice on what to do in the meantime. Erica told me the dog had to see the vet before they can tell me what to do for him but she would inform the manager that I was not happy. Tuesday morning my puppy was getting worse and we were worried about him not getting the nutrience he needs or getting dehydrated from the constant diahrrea. We took him elsewhere. Wednesday and Thursday I called to talk to the manager again. She was not in either time. I have called 3 times trying to talk to a manager who never seems to be in the office. I asked Erica if the manager was told that I was unhappy after I called Monday evening. She told me she gave the manager my message. So the manager knows that there is any issue but has not called me once in the last 3 days. Im giving a 1 star because not only did the office staff not book my appointment, they lied to me about it and they did not work me in on Monday after they realized that they made a mistake. Instead they made the client think I made a mistake in appointment time and sent me on my way. Luckily my puppy was seen elsewhere and is doing okay. Waiting until Thursday would have been 5 days of diahrrea and could have not been good for him only being 8 weeks old. We also received no appointment reminder for Mondays appointment but I got one Thursday morning for the rescheduled appointment. I guess they never booked us on Monday at all and instead of telling the truth I got lied to and sent home. I left another message for the owner and manager to call me. We will see if that happens. Update - After a week and 4 calls trying to talk to management, I still have not been called back.

I moved to the area and used this office for my dogs because I live so close. The staff are, at best, apathetic and, at worst, unprofessional. Last time I visited, I asked what the dogs were due for. They couldnt tell me and didnt know how to find out, even though I had given them the files for the dogs, which had all their paperwork, including shots given, etc. Since they didnt know, they guessed that their rabies shots needed done (as they couldnt see anything in files) so they set up an appt for us. At the appt, I showed up with two very nervous dogs who hate the vet. They do nothing to calm your dogs, but sit around talking about their lives. I was kept waiting out in the lobby for about 40 mins, then moved into a room. There, I waited another 20 mins and had an inefficient meeting with the vet, who TOLD OFF MY DOGS for resisting examination. I had to explain to him that they were probably short on patienct, since wed been waiting over an hour. He gave them the rabies shots and I left, vowing never to go back. Apathy is apparent here. When I got home, I thought a walk would help the dogs... In their dog drawer, I found their rabies tags from having shots a few months before. Yes, maybe I shouldve known what shots theyd had and when, but we do rely on our vets to keep this information. So my dogs had TWO lots of shots due to their inefficiency. Going to go to a mobile vet from now on...it would appear that they are much cheaper and if Im keeping my own records anyway...
