****************************************EDIT***************************************************** Shortly after I posted the review below, I was contacted by Michael, the manager of the location. I explained my experience with the office, and he apologized, and let me know what had been done to rectify the situation as far as the employees went. He then offered me a full pair of glasses free of charge as compensation for my bad experience. I was not expecting that, and I have to say that as a result of this, of showing that they are truly sorry for any inconvenience or bad experience, I WILL be going back. If I were to be asked to recommend this office to anyone else, while I would probably mention that the experience didnt start off great, the end result was more than worth it, and the employees overall are more than willing to help you and make sure that you get what you need. Mistakes are always made by people, for we are only human, but this office certainly realized and more than made up for theirs. Thank you Pro Optix for an overall good experience, I will see you again in the future! I have also updated the stars to 4, as a result of the offices friendliness and trying to help with this situation. ********************************************************************************************************* I wouldnt trust this office again. I went to get my regular eye exam and glasses. I was quite happy, as my insurance told me that I was entitled to one complete pair of glasses completely covered. When I sat down to see the options, I was told that this was not the case, and that my glasses would be $140+. I informed them that I was unable to pay that and would be consulting with my insurance to find what place would be able to provide me with glasses covered by insurance. After speaking with my insurance, they assured me that I should be able to get my glasses at my optometrists office. Back I went, and was this time told that yes, my insurance would cover a complete pair. I picked out my frames and left. The office then called me and told me that my insurance was not valid. (Nevermind the fact that I had verified EVERYTHING with my insurance 30 minutes prior. After several days, I learned that the office was putting in th wrong insurance information. My glasses were finally ordered, and I was told that it would be 7-10 days before they would be ready. On the 8th day, (Thursday July 2), I decided to go by and see if maybe they were ready for pick up. I arrived at 5:25 pm. Despite both their phone voicemail and door sign stating that Thursdays they closed at 7, they were completely closed! No note, no message. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

My experience at Pro Optix Vision Center was one of a kind, an experience that made me feel like I was family from the minute I stepped in the door and was greeted with a big smile from Kristie who was at the front desk. My eye exam was taken care of by Dr. Pacheco, she was so professional and really knew what she was doing, explained to me every step of the way and it seemed like she really likes what she does. Finally I needed glasses so I got served by Marcia, she was so helpful in assisting me with which frame to choose and gave me a really good explanation of what was suitable for my needs. My experience was one of a kind and I recommend Pro Optix Vision Center to anyone needing glasses or vision care help. Thanks again Giorgio

This place is the biggest rip off and terrible terrible customer service. They tell you whatever they can to get you in the door and then when you get there the price is significantly higher then stated over the phone and the quality is awful. It took WEEKS to get my glasses. In just a few months the expensive glasses I bought for my daughter snapped when a four square ball hit her at recess. I called to see the warranty on the $300 pair of glasses and they said they will switch frame for $50. When I got there they tripled the price. Ive never been so upset with a business. They are there to rob you of your money and thats it. And they are snotty after the purchase. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. BEWARE!!!

Best customer service Ive gotten at any eye doctors office. Dr. Pacheco is kind, thorough, and professional. She really cares about her patients needs which is more than I can say for any Sears/Costco/Walmart vision centers Ive been to. The girls at the front are always welcoming and if youre buying or fixing your glasses be sure to see Mike, he was super knowledgeable when it came to style and comfort for my face shape. I loved all of their styles and got my glasses asap. Theyre always sure to treat you like family and if I drive 30 minutes out of my way to come here, obviously I highly recommend it.

This used to be called South Florida Vision and the new owners and name of business has changed to Prooptix and what a great change since a previous visit. Did not have to wait at all and was taken within 2 to 3 minutes of arrival for appt. Very thorough and extremely friendly from the receptionist to the Doctor and the Optician when choosing glasses. Was not rushed and very satisfied with my whole experience and would not hesitate to recommend this vision center to anyone. It is very difficult today to find a business that makes you feel right at home and this is it.

When I first needed to go to an eye doctor I was so scared I stayed put in my chair and wouldnt go. The next though I wasnt so lucky and I was literally dragged out of the house I hate doctors and I still do but my family has been going to Pro Optix since it opened in pompano when I got there the doctors and nurses were so kind one of them to my surprise talked to me about why Im scared of Doctors and reassured do me about the appointment I wouldnt go anywhere else to get my eyes checked. The only thing I need to do know is find a pediatrician this nice XD

When we get to the place, they charge 430$ for one classes and they told me I can do payment plans... I asked the lady if I will get the classes before the payment and she told yes itll be ready in 3 to 4 business days. They called in 2 days that the glasses were ready and when I get there, shes talking about oh I have to get the classes in 2 weeks... she lied and after she took my money she acting like she doesnt care. I am going to report it to BBB if I dont get my money back..

Best place ever, it was really fantastic to have a vision center right next to my house, with people who actually cared about customer service they worked with me with the price and gave me quality with a lower price, place was definitely 5/5 if you ask me. really pretty receptionist "Kristi" who worked with me during the whole visit. It also only took like 3 days to receive the glasses which was even more of a outstanding visit! !! :D

Didnt get what I ordered, the lenses they gave are of a substantially lesser quality. Think Ive been cheated by this particular office on Powerline Rd. Apparently they are only interested in making a larger profit, at the expense of my vision. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE A DETAILED RECEIPT. Have put a claim in with my CC company. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Update - Credit Card Co. fully refunded my $.
