Things at Windhaven began great with out puppy. We had Dr. Marble who answered all our questions and was great about keeping up with his records. At about 5 months old we took our baby in because his ear was bleeding and infected. We met with Dr. Martin who informed us that it was a spider bite in the ear, she cleaned it, gave us medication and told us it was about a 10 day fix and sent us on our way. After a week we came back for another cleaning and were told another week. A week later we were told it was looking great but it was still raw so another week. We came in the next week and saw Dr. Marble who told us that his ear was really infected and that we needed surgery, maybe even amputation. We were floored! After 4 weeks of good reports what changed? We did everything they said. I took our baby to the surgeon and it looks like we are dealing with a tumor in his ear. There was never a bug bite. We talked to Dr. Martin today and she blamed us for the surgery! She said that people she works with were wrong to send us and that we made the bug bite into a tumor!! (Bug bites dont turn into tumors!) Not only is she not taking responsiblity for a misdiagnosis but she is calling her coworkers incompetent in the process. Oh and they forgot about heartworm medication for two months and his Parvo prevention medication even though we were there every week for 4 weeks. If you go to this vet, DO NOT SEE DR. MARTIN!

Just received a letter yesterday, 10/31/16, from Windhaven Veterinary Hospital dated, 10/14/16, stating we strive to provide the best care for the pets and the best service for our clients, it has been brought to my attention that on several occasions you have not been happy with our service. I am sorry we were unable to meet your expectations. We want your family and pets to receive the best possible care and service and feel that another veterinary clinic may be better suited to meet your needs. Enclosed are copies of your pets records. Debi Katona, Hospital Manager WOW!!! My Casey Girl and Anna started using Windhaven Veterinary Hospital on 3/8/13, and I know we have spent easy over $10,000 maybe $15,000, maybe more, and I receive a letter 2 weeks after it is dated with the above information. No need to worry about customer service by addressing the issues and correcting them for a client satisfaction. Thanks for sending me a letter informing me you are unable to meet my expectations, THATS A FACT, since Kristin and Dr. Raiczyk are no longer there. The problems with constant new employees up front is a disaster, issues including: cant look up pets name in the computer, scheduling my pets boarding dates incorrectly, not ensuring my Annas medication for epilepsy is received when picking up from boarding, and so on. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR LETTING ME KNOW THAT THESE SMALL TASKS CAN NOT BE PERFORMED!

The vet here is decent, but they overcharge at every opportunity and constantly try and up-sell something. I went it for a rabies shot and a bordatella, and was charged for an office visit that lasted all of seven minutes. A total of $145. When I asked why I was charged for an office visit, I was told my dog needed it with the rabies vaccine. Come on now, thats not true. Then she said he needed an annual exam ( is that what that was?) every year even though my dog had one around 8 months ago. The first time I went my dog needed an antibiotic, which they marked up 400%!!!! Know how I found that out? I called Costco who has the same drug for 400% less. I wont be going back there. Good vet care shouldnt be a complete financial rip-off. No wonder theres never anyone in the waiting room, others have obviously figured this place out.

Ive been visiting this veterinary hospital for about a year now and theyre amazing! I originally took Evie to another vet in Carrollton to be spayed and I was very unhappy there. So I found the Windhaven Veterinary Hospital where Evie sees Dr. Marble. Dr. Marble is so nice, and explains everything thoroughly, will call me to update me on Evies status, and I can call her if I have any questions. Everyone in the office is nice, kind, and caring. They always greet us (Evie and I) by name - and Ive never had to wait longer than 2 minutes to be called into a room even when I arrive 10 minutes early. Evie hurt her back and we had to get treatment and a diagnosis - I visited them on Saturday, and Evie was diagnosed and on proper medicine within two days. Thanks so much!

We have been bringing our chocolate lab, Nolan, here since he was 6 weeks old. Any time Nolan has had any minor issues, Dr. Marble will return my call herself and spend as much time as necessary talking to me. Every single time we bring Nolan in for a visit, he gets doted on by every nurse and is remembered by name no matter how long its been since his last visit! When we had to bring him in to get neutered, they found an infection in Nolans liver. They offered to give him a higher quality (typically more expensive) anesthesia for free and even took more extensive blood tests at no extra cost to us. We have been nothing but pleased with Windhaven Veterinary Hospital and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the Plano area. Thanks so much!

Our family have been clients at Windhaven Vet since they opened as we were clients of Dr. Rod Shuffield DVM who built the clinic. Over the years, cats and dogs, Windhaven, specifically Kimberly Martin DVM now, have taken the utmost care of our loved ones. Over the last twenty years we have owned King Charles Cavaliers and completely trust Windhaven with their sometimes high maintenance care. I highly recommend trusting your pet care to Windhaven.

Dr. Jennifer Marble has provided exceptionally reliable, compassionate, & competent care for our aging kitty who is suffering from feline hypertension. She gets that we are seeking quality of life for our pet and always promptly responds to our inquiries about dosage and symptom control. I trust her implicitly and would recommend her to anyone seeking the best care for their pets. Pam K.

Windhaven has always been outstanding in their care of my pets; they go above and beyond. Dr. Marble, Dr. Martin and Kristen are extraordinary and do the establishment proud. When my corgi passed away, they showed exceptional consideration, kindness and professionalism. Windhaven will always be my go-to recommendation for anyone searching for a good vet (and boarding) in DFW.

This animal hospital is extremely clean, well organized, and the staff is amazing. Dr. Lindsay Riddick is a miracle worker! My dog is very shy and not a fan of vets but by the end of our appointment he was giving her kisses on her face and wagging his tail. My dog and I both have never left an office so happy. Thank you so much to Dr. Riddick and the staff.

I love Dr. Martin and the Windhaven Staff. They are amazing! They truly care about my dogs and their well-being. They always know who I am when I walk in and always ask how my dogs, are even if they arent there with me. I highly recommend! I also love their Paw-Care plans.
