Before going to Westwood Family Chiropractic, I visited a couple other local offices and have never received the care that I receive by Dr. Jett and Dr. Cathy. I’ve never felt comfortable or received relief in my upper back and neck from another doctor. They put me on a reasonable schedule and adjusted as they saw fit. They track my progress and make sure that I am moving in the right direction in order to have a fully adjusted body and life. I appreciate that they don’t only adjust you, but educate you, so you truly understand what your body needs. Since getting adjusted regularly, I have had more motion in my neck and as a dance teacher that is extremely important. I have noticed that I do not get sick or stay sick as long while getting regular adjustments. My body is able to recuperate faster and more efficiently due to the care that I have received. Recently, I have been able to get my husband to come to the office and get checked out. He has suffered with back problems for many years and never thought he would receive any relief. His back is making small strides to get more mobility and less pain since coming to get adjusted. Dr. Jett and Dr. Cathy are the most caring and empathic doctors I have met. They become fully engaged in their patients’ lives and truly care about their progress and well being. Sammy and all the ladies at the front desk are warm and welcoming when you first walk through the door. Other doctors’ offices are stuffy and bland, however, Westwood Family Chiropractic is nothing like that! This office likes to celebrate accomplishments no matter how big or small and make their patients feel comfortable and welcomed. They don’t only help everyone in the family, they become part of your family.

I was always nervous to go to a chiropractor...A lot of family and friends swore by the treatments. My husband has been a patient for over 6 years and my children had gone a few times. After suffering from daily migraines and back pain and after going to many Doctors getting numerous medications to stop the pain, I was at my wits end and decided to give it a try. I was welcomed with a warm smile and and provided a very thorough summary and education of what exactly they would be doing as well as a detailed evaluation and x -ray. Dr Jett Took so much time with me I felt like he really listened to my complaints and understood my pain. I have been going three times a week and both Dr. Kathy and Dr. Jett are warm and you feel like you are in good hands as they are gentle and I trust them completely with my care. I am happy to report after having a few adjustments I no longer struggle with my daily headaches and I feel so free of aches and pains after I go. I have also started again to bring my six year old twins with me. They ask to go to get the "popcorn" out of their neck. They are wonderful with children and have toys ready for the kids so they are occupied when I need to get my treatment. I wish I would have listened to people six years ago and started going then but I am no longer nervous or a skeptic. I cant wait to go and feel my overall health has improved as a result of it. I would encourage anyone at any age to try Westwood Family the entire staff is so nice and they also offer educational classes to help you stay on your own path of feeling good and being healthy. I began seeing Dr. Jett and Dr. Cathy a few months ago for pain and numbness in my right shoulder and arm. From the get-go, I was treated not like a number but a person, one with unique issues and needs. Their diagnostic process was incredibly thorough and they took the time to explain to me exactly what my body was experiencing and why. They recommended a plan for me that has helped enormously--I feel better, have more energy, and am more than ever committed to attaining my optimal health. Beyond the quality of care, both doctors are warm, compassionate, knowledgeable, and accessible, and the staff is equally competent and caring. I now have my husband and two young daughters receiving chiropractic care as well, and were all the better for it. This practice truly lives up to its name--Dr. Cathy, Dr. Jett, and the entire staff at Westwood Family Chiropractic treat each patient like family. HIGHLY recommend!

I was recently in a car accident that left me with some terrible neck pain and headaches. Rather than taking medication for my pain, it was recommended by a family member that I try Chiropractic Therapy. It was my first time going to the chiropractor, and at first I wasn’t sure about it. After learning about how Chiropractic care could not only help with my pain, but also better my health I decided to give it a try. It has been two months of therapy and I havent had to use any pain medications for my injuries. Dr. Jett Gurman and Dr. Cathy Gurman at Westwood Family Chiropractic have been very educational and helpful with my Chiropractic care. I feel that I have more energy throughout the day and have less aches and pains. Thank you Westwood Family Chiropractic!

Dealing with Dr Jet Gurman was absolutley horrible. My wife was 7 months plus pregnant and having back trouble. Her Midwife had mentioned he was close by and she went in for a few sessions. After billing our insurance over $500 for two weeks we had to pay the rest out of pocket on a monthly plan. In the first two weeks she was in tremendous pain and was afraid to go back. Dr Gurmans office sent a thank you note and proceeded to bill our credit card for the remaining two weeks behind our back and without notice. When it was addressed he never responded and we disputed the charges. We live local and I work around the corner and he did not even call to explain or see how she felt. Do your self a favor find another chiropractor.

AWFUL DOCTOR-Dr Jett billed us for $198 and never even touched my boyfriends back for pain relief. I felt like I was walking into a cult when he makes you watch videos while you are sitting in the waiting room in agony over the pain. He is more concerned about advertising about chiropractic care then actually helping with the problem. He will give you more talk and try to get you to pay into his "plan" which is just over priced. After spending the money, we asked for copies of the X-rays but was only told it would be more MONEY.The reoccurng theme with this place "MONEY"...You would think since you paid $100 for the xrays of your body it would be yours...Nope. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!!

Westwood Family Chiropractic puts health first. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Jett for about 3 years, and he is one of our favorite health care providers. Beyond the benefits of chiropractic (such as my 2-year old has had only 1 sick day), we get great, fast and convenient service. But what makes Westwood Family Chiropractic stand out is that they put health first, and worry about the nitty gritty of insurance later. If you have a bad day, you just stop by and they take care of you, putting my familys health ahead of anything else.
