Pretty awful and unprofessional experience. I went into the ER Saturday morning after going to Methodist in Richardson Friday night for bleeding during early pregnancy. I had asked to have my hcg level taken again so it could be compared to my level from the night before. and first off was never once seen by a doctor it was all nurses. Considering the situation and that I was completely alone because my husband is a marine and stationed elsewhere you wouldve thought they wouldve been caring and sensitive I mean miscarriage is kind of a hard thing to be going through. But no I had one nurse Elvie who cut me off anytime I tried to speak and Ive had blood drawn countless times in my life. I am literally bruised around the entire area and it was the most painful thing she clearly didnt know what she was doing or didnt care and just stabbed the needle in my arm. Then she got a phone call and had my hold the gauze where she stuck the needle and then handed me the band aid and WALKED OUT and left me to do it all myself. I went to use the bathroom came back and her and another nurse got angry with me because I had to do a urine test that nobody told me about and as Im walked back to my room theyre laughing about it. Then she tells me my bloodwork is back but I have to pee in a cup so they could test my urine for infection before I see anything. I go try to pee and its just blood I go up to try to tell them its pointless can I really not see my results just to find out my results arent even back. Finally the only nurse that remotely cared or was polite was named Kathy and she came in and read me the news my hcg levels had dropped. She explained everything great to me and my husband who was on FaceTime. But I know for a fact from experiences in hospitals and doctors offices a nurse is never supposed to give you the news of bloodwork or any testing initially. Its supposed to be a doctor which I was never seen by one. Then almost an hour after Ive been crying in the room and I finally walk out and ask Evie how much longer for my discharge paperwork I just want to go and its ridiculous how long its taking and she doesnt even look at me and just says "she doesnt have it back yet when she does I will be more than happy to send you home". This woman is seriously awful and insensitive. way too uncaring to be allowed to be a nurse. I was finally discharged and able to go home with the worst news and experience of my life. they were faster at getting my bloodwork back but the treatment and all the commonly known rules they were breaking this place shouldnt even be up and running.

HORRIBLE experience. this ER is more concerned about their money than their patients. My loved one came into the ER once, and then again within a week for the same reason (hmm i guess that means you didnt fix the problem) and the lady who handles financial had the nerve to say "I saw you a week ago. you have a deductible and we need to get paid. I gave you a financial packet," My loved one had calmly tried to tell her that they needed to bill him, he doesnt have $250 but hell take another financial packet and fill it out, the woman just ignored him and turned around and walked off without giving him the help he asked for. So his blood pressure which was FINALLY coming down from a dangerous level went right back up after she dealt with him. UNACCEPTABLE. So at this point im pissed thank you for reversing the healing that had taken place. And i know youre reading this right now, i get it, there are other patients, you have jobs to do, i dont think im more important, i just think that a patient with kidney failure might want to be watched a little closer especially when your girl just sent him into an anxiety attack. thank you. if your spouse was messaging you telling you they were in tears and didnt want to live anymore what would you do? Because what i did was call until someone actually went in there to help him. the words "I DONT WANT TO LIVE ANYMORE" ARE GOING TO MAKE ME CALL YOU UNTIL YOU GO IN THERE AND MAKE SURE IM NOT ABOUT TO LOSE HIM. and then i was told that they were pissy with him because they were under the impression that he had put me up to the task of bugging you. NO Baylor, actually he was trying to get me to stay put. I WAS going to come down there and raise hell in person. so you should thank him. He didnt ask me to call. i decided to call, because in no way should a patient be treated the way my loved one was. Get your act together, and tell the people who go to collect that yeah, their job is rough, but you do NOT get to disrespect people if theyre having financial issues. especially when the rude attitude wasnt started by the patient. Youre at work, dont let whatever stick thats up your ass effect how you treat your patients. your battle is not theirs. so dont act like it is.

Ive never been so angry. I was born at the hospital almost 20 years ago and this is the only place I go to but recently, dr. Rosemary roseberry left and Im 19 now so I thought I should stop seeing my pediatrician anyways and see someone else so the doctor that was available was dr. Jissy Phillip. I came in there when I was sick then scheduled an appointment for my annual check up. My annual check up is covered my insurance so whatever that is SUPPOSED to be done is covered 100%. Anyways, my doctor started asking me about my last cycle which was 6 months ago. She asked me how long has this been going on and I tell dr. Jissy Phillips that ever since my cycles started. Its been irregular. Every 6 months or 2 weeks. But Im not sexually active what so ever and that my old doctor tried prescribing me with birth control twice to regulate me so its normal. 2 weeks later, I receive a bill from the hospital that charged me for a pregnancy test that that I had no idea about and gave my doctor no reason to run. I make some calls to Im guessing a receptionist that was totally understanding why Im mad, and then tried to transfer me to accounting. I left a voice mail and no return. So I get a call today and was told that its my doctors standard procedure that she does it to everyone. I said that I should of been aware of that... then she said "well also you told her your periods were irregular and she knows you said that you said youre not sexually active but people lie about it." So I ask to get transferred to account to Paula or something, and Ive never been treated by "professionals" in such manner. She automatically was so rude to me. I gave consent to treatment for my ANNUAL CHECK UP. NOT ADDITIONAL BILLS. Dr. Jissy Phillips should either trust her patients or at least let me know that theyre going to charge me for something I wasnt aware of. Im beyond furious about this situation and speaking to Paula from accounting made me even more furious. She was off the bat, rude and not understanding one single bit.
