I took my 78-year old father to Dr. Ekwanis clinic today. Prior to going into the exam room, we waited in the lobby for 45 minutes pass our appointment time. He walked in the office with one piece of paper in the hand and no other documents, file or medical history. I doubt if he is mentally brilliant to memorize my fathers history by heart. Upon bringing up the long wait in the lobby and front office staff not being very courteous, he didnt like my comments. He threatened us to dismiss and kick us out of the clinic. Upon challenging his threats, he responded by saying, I dont care. I couldnt stand his rudeness and arrogant behavior and decided to leave. I took my father without him being examined. What a show of poor professionalism and temperament problem I witnessed today. No wonder, why his star rating is low and he is having bad reviews. I am reporting this incident to Texas Medical Board for investigation. I believe medical practice is a very noble profession and is a privilege. Physicians, like Ekwani are abusing this privilege by being careless about their behavior and are giving bad name to this noble profession. They should be reported to the board so we can filter out these arrogant and unprofessional physicians. I will suggest to others if you have been a victim of physicians mistreatment or unprofessional behavior, report these incidents to the TX Medical Board. Let these irresponsible and arrogant physicians to know that having a privilege to practice doesnt mean to play God here.

Frisco Urgent Care is a scam. I was new to Frisco and needed to have my blood pressure medicine refilled. I am 52 and have had 100s of office visits. I also have Humana insurance. I made an appointment two days in advance. (Non Emergency) Waited for over 2 hours beyond my appointment time. No emergencies in the waiting room. Only 3 other people that looked like they might have a cold. I did not see the Dr. I saw the PA. At check out I would normally pay my $25 copay. They said I did not owe anything. They billed my insurance just under $2,000. for this routine office visit. They ran every possible blood test. My insurance paid about $600.00. Now they are billing me for $600 in addition to what my insurance company paid. African lady I spoke to about the bill (African accent from the country of Africa) was very rude and yelled and said this was normal and that if I did not like it I could take my business elsewhere. It is evil people like this that are not from the US that are killing our country. I checked the Drs medical degree. It is from Africa. Warn everyone you know. No place in Frisco for this type of business.

Dr Ekweani is arrogant, unprofessional and blatantly incompetent. He misdiagnosed my grandmothers condition not once, but four times. We went to seek his help, he told us it was a simple ailment and there wasnt a reason for further tests. After a month, my grandmother deteriorated further and we went back to Dr Ekweani, and he told us the same thing. He did that a total of 4 times. We just found out that my grandmother is battling end stage cancer which could have easily been prevented only if Dr Ekweani bothered to order a simple CT scan. I always give positive reviews on Google Reviews, this is the first time Ive written a negative one. My advise to anyone and everyone, stay far away for Dr Ekweani.

Awful! Thats all I can say! It says walking are welcome but when you walk there you are not welcome at all! The staff are so rude and unprofessional, not helpful at all! They sent wrong medicine to my pharmacy after 5 hours! It took me 24 hours to make them to fix it ! Im in a lot of pain, its hard for me to talk and they keep putting me on hold hour after hour!! Just run away from this place! No respect for patients, no heart! It wasnt frist time they treated me this way! The only reason I visited this place was because its nearest urgent care that my insurance covers! I rarely write negative reviews, but this one was necessary!!!!

Good evening everyone, I am extremely disappointed with this office, an specially with the entire STAFF THE ARE RUDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, OMG these people are very very unprofessional which I cannot understand HOW CAN THEY still OPENED????? I would advice everyone to stay away from this place, the only positive aspect about the office (HOURS), however, I would rather wait MONTHS than assist to this clinic again. The doctors wife who is the person attending the public, she is a very angry person, and does not have manner to treat patients.

Everybody was very helpful to me. I never had any problem there. And Specially megan she is so sweet. She will see patients very quickly and she is very sweet to the patients. So Dr. Ekweani is sweet to.. He will take care of patients very well. And by the way we are normal office clinics we are not urgent care. Its we have urgent care hours becuase we take Walk -ins after 5pm so thats why we are urgent care to..

He completly bashed my mom. He is a terrible doctor. She had to cancel an appointment to be in the actual hospital do a very important treatment. And when she came today he kept saying he has other patients to care for to keep this business. My mothers disease can be deadly and he didnt even know her name. The lady doctor is very nice and staff as well, I do not recommend the male doctor.

This Clinic is Fascistic! Very friendly and family oriented. Dr Ekweani and his staff been taking care of our Children and Family since we relocated to Texas. Sick kids with day cares, Physicals, Pregnancies.... You name it, they were supportive. The Office Manager Ms Efi, is so friendly and accommodating to busy with work schedules. Thank You for the great service and Free Coffee.

Both me and my mom have Dr. Ekwani as our PCP, but Dr. Meghan is the one who takes care of us..and she is amazing!! The staff is always nice and helping whenever we need anything. The waiting room is not the best, and there is a waiting time even if you have an scheduled Appointment, but its worth to wait. Go with extra time..

This Dr. Was the worst. I had to have 7 stitches in my mouth, he told me that the stitches were dissolvable, two weeks later when I went to the dentist he said my stitches had grown to my tissue, and he had to pull them out. thank goodness I didnt get anything more serious done with this doctor. Totally incompetent.

Ive been seeing Dr. Ekweani since 2011. He is the best doctor Ive ever seen. He listens intently to your concerns and is caring of your individual needs. I had a stroke in 2009 and was at high risk of another stroke until Dr. Ekweani took over my medical care. Today Im free of diabetes and happy to be alive.

This Doctor is nice. But, office staff really think they know everything. The Staff is very Rude. The doctors wife works in he office. She will flat tell you if you dont like something then go somewhere else. I certainly took my family somewhere else. The office is also very dirty.
