I am a physician myself and I cannot recommend this physician... He saw me for the first time and based upon one elevated pulse measurement taken when Id just arrived to a morning appointment at his second floor office Id had trouble finding, stressed, and with pain and in an orthopedic boot from a current ruptured tendon and torn ligaments - he prescribed a beta blocker.. I have no previous history of hypertension or cardiac disease.. He did not do an EKG.. He spent his entire time with me with his attention focused on his computer screen (or cash register as it is) concocting diagnoses I dont have to fit his narrative such as "vitaminD deficiency" and hypertension.. He had no vitaminD level or any labs on me and actually when I did have labs done 2 years ago somewhere else all my levels including vit D were normal... He didnt listen when I repeatedly told him I have no history of hypertension and the only elevated measurements Id had were with a too-small cuff equipment in a surgeon or dentists office when I was in pain.. Of course Im not an easy patient to please as I am a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician myself and I very very rarely have seen another physician... I was very disappointed... His physical exam was inadequate and honestly pitiful, his plan of care did not follow standards of accepted care, and I will not be back.. He didnt listen to what I was telling him, nor did he listen to my objections to being baselessly relegated to a cardiac drug I dont need and which has negative side effects which will exacerbate my underlying conditions I brought up and he dismissed... He didnt listen to me when I told him I wasnt getting a mammogram as I had had a recent ultrasound He also recommended a cardiac CT scan not covered by insurance for which the imaging center has now hounded me relentlessly to schedule as well as that mammogram and I question his relationship with them.. I feel badly for lay persons who will blindly follow.

Dr. Ouyang is a great doctor. Ive seen him for many years. He was recommended to me by my ENT doctor who also uses him as his own family doctor. He is very careful and pays attention to details. Overall I think he cares more about my health than myself. Every time he found something unusual, he suggested me to do some testing to further investigate the issue. Because of that I found out that I had some health issues that I had to see other specialists so I could get those health problems resolved in the early stage. The specialists and surgeons he has recommended are also very good doctors. He is very patient. Whenever I asked him problems, he always took time answering my questions. Whenever any of my friends asked for the information of a family, I always recommended him to them.

I have seen Dr Ouyang a few times since my retirement from my endocrinology practice and I have been very happy with his service and his attention to detail.I would recommend him to my friends and neighbors.
