I was admitted to Doctor’s Hospital in January with pneumonia. I was in their ICU in an induced coma for two weeks. I was then moved to Kindred, to their High Observation area, then later to a regular room. When I first came there, I could not walk, talk, write, eat, or drink. I had a chest tube, (collapsed lung) a tracheotomy, and a feeding tube. I could only communicate through sign language and lip reading…kind of like charades, you know? I cannot say enough about the quality of care that I received there. I had three doctors, whom I loved, and a lot of wonderful nurses, who seemed to exist solely to keep me happy, clean, and comfy! I have never imagined a group of people who all worked together as a happy and caring team, dedicated solely to healing, and to my comfort. They checked in on me frequently, with a smile, and a competence that was amazing! I never had a second of feeling frightened, abandoned, hungry, pained…any of the things one has come to associate with hospitals. I was in the perfect place to heal and rest. I’m home now, I can walk, talk, write, eat, drink, and do all of the things that make life worth living; thanks to Kindred! The best part is that I know I have made some new friends, and I WILL be going back to visit them as a healthy woman…soon!!!

What a completely retarded statement. That review doesnt even sound legitimate. "I WALKED IN & EVERYONE WAS JUST SITTIN AND THERES BLOOD ON THE FLOOR!" Really? Thats your review? First of all, theres only 3 chairs at the nursing station, not nearly enough for the staff. Oh, and what was the supervisors name you reported the blood on the floor to? You know, the one sitting right there at the desk at all times. Yeah, thats what I thought. Kindred White Rock is full of success stories with pictures on the wall to prove it. Next time you want to jump on the internet and spit venom, dont be anonymous and at least have a credible story. I know fourth graders that can write better than that. PS: even IF there was blood on the floor, relax! ITS A DANG HOSPITAL

I spent almost three weeks in Kindred White Rock after several days in the ICU of Doctors Hospital (and a couple of days in a regular room at DH—nightmarish). The difference was like night and day. The staff cared about what you were going through, they were willing to go to great lengths to accommodate special situations, and they kept me and my wife informed of what was being done and what would be needed after I was released. I cant give it five stars, since there were a couple of incidents (mainly on the midnight shift) where things got a bit fubar, but other than that it was a much better place to be than Doctors Hospital.

Apparently they lost a critically injured patient who was transferred there for rehab and no one seems to know if she is dead or alive. One of the nurses there seems to be great but even she did not know what happened. The family is very concerned.

I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL THEY WERE JUST SITTING AROUND DOING NOTHING. I GOT TO A ROOM AND THERE WAS BLOOD ON THE FLOOR THE ROOM WASNT CLEAN
