my father was verbelly abused the weekend. crew was lacking compaionship,they were very rude and disrespectful on the weekend NEVER have I seen such direspect my father was emotional abused as well so bad that the lack of care he recieved send him back to the hospital he had an emotional breakdown,he kept calling the nurse that was on call but she was in no hurry to see what he needed by that time his colostomy bag busted and he was left to sit in his own feces over 2 hours and was upset that she had toclean it up mind you he kept calling her to warn her that it was fixing to bust,I have never in my 49 years EVER heard my dad cry. his blood pressure dropped so low he almost died how would they feel if some treated thier parents like this ? they will be reprocussions for this it will not just be shoved under the carpet.please do not send your family loved ones here.

As an ex Investigator for the Texas Board of Nursing and Texas Medical Board staff, I strongly encourage anyone who cares about their ailing friends and family to avoid this facility. My father in law was neglected and verbally abused, as well as forced to wallow in his own feces because the RNs and CNAs who worked over the weekend of 8/5-8/6 are incompetent. Complaints are being filed with DADS, DSHS, and BON. If you have similar experiences, make sure to obtain last names and/or license numbers in order for your complaint to be addressed by the State.
