I am writing this review per request of one of the staff members at the Back to Motion Clinic: As an endurance triathlete, I had a knee injury that required surgery. The surgeon recommended me to use Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmill during my recovery stage. I ran on the treadmill three times per week for a month. First week, I ran at 60% of my weight with incremental increasing pace throughout the week. Subsequent weeks, I ran at 70%, 80%, and 90% of my weight with similar pace increase plan. I am now ready to resume running on track at 100% of my weight. As a biomedical researcher, I was keen to observe my spatial running biomechanics on this Alter-G machine. I was amazed how running was gentle on my knee without changing my biomechanics. So, I would highly recommend using this machine to anyone for their recovery stage. The concept of spatial running with as little 10% of your weight is very clever. However, the Alter-G company has done a poor job designing this machine regarding the data presentation and runner’s comfort. I have dozen suggestions for the manufacturer how to improve the next generation of this machine. If the company is interested in hearing those suggestions – for free - then contact me. At the clinic, I had contacts with two of the staff members (Dr. Mike House, Physical Therapist and Ms. Brenda Shea, the Office Administrator). I found both were friendly and very helpful to set me up with the Alter G machine.

I went to see Back to Motion after seeing two neurosurgeons, another PT office and having two epidurals for severe back spasms and sciatica. The pain was unbearable and it took 2-3 visits a week for many months before my pain was gone. But it went away thanks to Patty, Karen and Juliana and their knowledgeable care. The massages, dry needling and exercises allowed me to recover. Not only did they care for me but they educated me on how my body reacts to having something wrong with my back. I STRONGLY recommend them to anyone looking for superior care by wonderful people.

I have been working with Patty on my shoulder and knees and am getting better. She is very knowledgeable and listens very well. After 3 other PT offices didnt help me or made me worse, it was a breath of fresh air to find someone who really cares, gives me the right exercises, and is immediately responsive when something doesnt work or hurts. Patty has also been great about returning a couple of calls with questions in a timely manner. Im confident Back to Motion will get me back to swimming and cycling soon!

Dr. House is an amazing healer. As an extreme sports enthusiast I often wind up in the care of Dr. House for my miscellaneous injuries. Every time I see him he is able to quickly diagnose the nature of my problem, alleviate my pain, and give me exercises to reduce future injury. As a medical provider, I always refer my patients to Dr. House for all their physical therapy needs. Not only is Dr. House great but the facilities and staff at Back to motion are all excellent as well.

Im a pt and yt (yoga therapist) and a psycho therapist who knows what receiving whole person treatment is all about: shoulder, knee and all of me.These practioners are a rare find these days when the Insurance industry drives the health field away from healing, touch, and individualized care. I can safely say that this clinic is truly outstanding. The best! A++++!

This is, by far, the best PT place in Denver! Patty really listens to you and finds the root of the problem/pain, treats it effectively with dry needling, movement, massage of area effected or whatever is required and then sends you on your way. There are no unnecessary appointments! Highly, highly recommend Back to Motion for your PT needs!

Amazing experience all around. I have been to numerous different PT around Denver and found Back to Motion to be hands down the best. They were able to quickly identify my issue and give me exercises to help me alleviate pain in my knee and restore my health. I am forever grateful to what they have helped me accomplish.

Back to Motion is excellent. I have gone for PT after a knee replacement, therapy when I had neck pain, and taken the Tai Chi for Arthritis classes with Dr. Lorienne Fisher. The Tai Chi was very beneficial. I always felt welcome and had much better balance and stability after the sessions.
