Came home from a short day at work and was greeted with my ever-so-energetic Nemo (Chihihua sp?) and all was good, About thirty minutes later I noticed Nemo flinching when I went to pet him and also he was wobbling side-to-side. So my mom called her usual vet and they said they had too many emergencies already...she not happy and hung up! I had used Ivan Animal Hospital once before with awesome results so I thought of them immediately. Dr. Ivan came in to the "diagnosing" room and within minutes noted Nemo was tense and that this was a symptom of a pinched nerve. It made total sense! She immediately administered some pain relieving meds, provided Nemo with some take home meds and I just cant say how much better I felt! Her previous experience with the "little Mexicans" was a blessing to me and Nemo. Cannot thank you enough for taking Nemo in at the last minute and the extremely fast diagnosing! Guess who our new Vet will be...Ivan Animal Hospital! Sincerely!

Dr. Ivan won the 2016 Missouri Animal Control Agency Veterinarian of the year award. She earned this prestigious honor due to her exceptional service to animal welfare. She gives in many ways to support local rescue shelters including countless hours of her time. There is not a greedy bone in her body. She is very caring to all animals. She is highly intelligent and stays up to date with current treatments and will refer out to a specialist when needed. Her prices are very reasonable. We lived 10 minutes from the office and moved to almost 2 hours away in Warren County. We gladly make the long drive to Dr. Ivan every time one of our babies needs serious care or just annual shot updates. We wouldnt trust our babies with anyone else. Why would we when she is the best!!!!!

Went in a few weeks ago for grooming asked if my pet could be looked at by vet, when my husband picked our dog up we were charged for services that we did not give permission to do I only asked for the vet to look at my dog not to perform unnessasary test. I feel that I was taken advantage of and way overcharged the communication skills of these doctors are very poor and all they care about is their pockets! Id also like to note that I have had several friends tell me that they have wrote reviews on yelp and other websites only to get emails from review website that practice has requested it to be taken down and have had their reviews removed dont be deceived by this practice 4 star rating they take no fault in any wrong doing.

The associate veterinarian, Dr. Desnoyers, is beyond rude and speaks with a holier than thou attitude. I over heard her making very offensive remarks about me when she thought I was out of ears reach. I ended up going to a different vet because I was so applaud at her unprofessional behavior. I found out her diagnosis was completely wrong and I would have wasted hundreds of dollars and put my dog through unneeded stress and pain if I would have listened to her! I will never go back here and I dont recommend anyone else go here either. This doctor is horrible! If I were the owner of this business I would fire her! I would never want this useless, unprofessional, inexperienced doctor representing my company!

Quite simply they saved my Great Danes life with their "all hands on deck" approach. Ive watched the staff love on every animal through the door. If they occasionally seem "not friendly", its probably because they have three emergencies going at the same time, two cats fighting and a loose parrot and someone on the phone wants to complain about their "shots notice" not arriving exactly on time. I have also been there for those types of days. Bottom line...they treat the animals better than the owners...and thats the way it ought to be !!

First time customer here. I wasnt sure what to expect as I just moved to the area. Its an okay facility but A+ on cleanliness. The staff was friendly enough as I dont care for small talk and there was a short wait time. I didnt have the privilege of meeting Dr Ivan as I had hoped for. Ive read wonderful things about her and Im very picky when it comes to getting the best care for my baby. Dr Desnoyers was mediocre at best. I wouldnt feel confident in her if were I were to have been there for more than anything but a vaccine and check up.

Was billed for services on 07/25/2014 paid in full my portion that day. Recieved a call from collections 11/25/2016 and they are saying I owe them $72.55 for date of service 07/25/2014 for ivan animal hospital. They sent me to collections over two years later. No phone call or any mention I even owe them anything. Not to mention they gave my dog expired medications. Wow unbelievable! Please save yourself time and headache and stay away from these horrible people.

Dr. Ivan is wonderful; the best vet Ive encountered. Shes been able to help our cat Squeeks when numerous other vets have given up and even suggested putting him to sleep. We picked him up today after a few days at Dr. Ivans and he looks 10x better; eating again, meowing, purring, and his eye has cleared up. We drive almost an hour just to get the best care for our special needs pet because its so worth it! Thank you Dr. Ivan, Dr. Sullivan, and staff!

It was difficult finding a vet for my chinchillas but Dr. Ivan is great and the staff was super friendly. I see negative reviews about staff but during my visit, I saw three people be completely belligerent to these women even while they tried to help them. I dont agree with the bad reviews. Prices were great as well. Found our family vet. :) we thank you!

Ivan has been our familys vet since it opened. They have taken wonderful care of my parents dogs, and now my husband and I are willing to drive from Crestwood to bring our new puppy there because we know she will be well taken care of. If you are looking for a safe and healthy environment and a vet you can absolutely trust, I highly recommend Dr. Ivan.

We have a small breed dog rescue and probably run about 200 dogs a year through Dr Ivans Animal Hospital. We have been following her around for 14 years with good reason. Dr Ivan is one of those vets who just has a 6th sense with animals. Her associates, Dr Tyrey and Dr Collins are also great to work with. We love Ivan Animal Hospital!

Took my pom to Ivan for a trim. That was a big mistake for my poor Sky!! The groomer shaved or cut her so short around her private area to where she couldnt be still. Doing circles, licking , not wanting to go potty and not wanting to eat. Sooooo angry !!! Will never take her there again.

We have pet rats and Dr Ivan is so good when one is sick or dying. We had a few pass with her care. You have to understand that rats can get terminally ill easily. She treated my colony very well. Rats make better pets than you think.
