BEST EVER! 4 Paws has the best staff ever. They love animals and do ever thing they can to help them! Including taking strays off the street. They may seem rude at first, but they are extremely busy with helping animals. So, cut them slack if this ever happens! They are extremely cost effective. They wont talk you into something your animal doesnt need. I also believe they do pay plans if you are not financially stable. The building is a little run down, but this is most likely due to their extremely cheap prices and hard work (they dont have time for that nonsense)! Two of my personal stories are below. My dog Bentley, a basset hound, swallowed a rock last summer (2013). It was stuck in his small intestine and caused him to become extremely sick. After taking him to 4 Paws, Dr. Landon was able to locate the rock stuck in his small intestine and remove it. While he was there, he was on penicillin. It turned out he was allergic to this drug. After 3 weeks of Bentley staying at 4 Paws, while under the most amazing and loving care, we thought he was going to pass away. The amazing faculty kept my dog alive and truly saved my family from what couldve been a terrible, terrible heartache. Then, my rottweiler Zeek, had torn his ACL. This was about a week ago. First, I didnt know if Zeek had dislocated his hips or if he had broken his leg. So, I took Zeek in to have X-rays done, but Dr. Landon, being an intelligent and incredible veterinarian, was able to feel his leg and find out that it was his ACL. Dr. Landon informed me about two different types of surgeries that could be performed to heal him. She gave me information about cost but also which surgery would be better for Zeek. Zeek had surgery and it went extremely well. He will be on his way home tomorrow after his drugs wear off!

Im 2010 my my mothers dog, whom I had for only 4 months after she had passed became very Ill and non responsive. I went to every vet in Northglenn and Thornton and they all refused me service because I had lost my job my home almost my dignity and therefore I had minimal money. In a panic I was on edge of a hysterical brake doqn. I had promised on Moms deathbed to take care if her Ollie (dogs name). So I went on Craigs Lust to Rants and Rave and stated it was a shsme we the people, in most cases, finance part some times all of a college education with no questions asked, then once they graduate they have no charitable inclinations towards the general public. A gentleman responds"" Go to 4 Paws animal clinic." I did and they did lwhat ever was needed to save my dog and charged me 60.00. Not only did they save my dogs life, they saved mine also. I said the same thing to them I said to all the other vet offices. I will walk the dogs scrub the toilets pick up poop clean kennels anything just please help me. I will allways love 4 Paws and never go anywhere else! My last emergency was Ollie had swallowed something that he could not pass, had 2 gal stones, and 9 rotted teeth They did all that updated his shots drained his glands clipped his nails and wormed him for less than 700.00 including his meds. Amen. 4 Paws is my Godsend Thank you God 1st and 4 Paws 2nd.

I disagree with the person that said there must be more of a relationship and not to trust these reviews. I have tried the other Vets and Hospitals with other pets and was not happy with not only the wait time but also the high-priced fees and no understanding of what happened or why. Several vets would not take my rescue unless I neutered him but he had a severe heart condition and could not even take a risk of getting his teeth cleaned let alone get him neutered. He was never in an environment where he was around other dogs to be a threat to anyone so I cant understand what the big deal was. Dr. Landen is a very kind, compassionate person that talks to you at length to help you understand the situation your pet is in and goes over the choices with you and lets you decide how you want to handle a very difficult situation. Oh and I have only waited more than 30 minutes 1 time because a dog came in that just got hit by a car so it was an emergency that he go in before us, I would hope someone else would give me the same consideration had it been my pet. Kudos to 4 Paws and thank you all for loving our pets like we do.

The place is not directly off Colfax. Instead take a left turn just before the light at Wads and Colfax. Parallel Colfax as you drive past a nail salon, dog training school, costume shop, etc. The vets is almost at the end of the row of one story buildings. The offices are plain, somewhat shoddy. Kim would rather spend money on equipment for the animals than decor. Believe me, I know. Ive talked to her about it. Kim donates so much of her time and effort to strays and rescues. Shes an amazing woman who cares more about animals than people. Keep that in mind if you have any problems with her personality. I dont. I think shes lovely. But some reviewers have complained. Ive been taking my dogs to her for 6 years. Im so happy. Before that I used Arvada Flats. They misdiagnosed one of my dogs and charged twice to three times as much as Kim does for every procedure. If youre looking for a beautiful office and examination rooms, go to Arvada Flats or some other boutique animal hospital. Youll be paying for the ambiance, not the care.

Dr. Kim Landin is one of the most knowledgable vets I have come across. As for the person rudely referring to her as someone who fails to listen to clients, I suspect this is because Dr. Landin tends to listen more to pets than to owners. She has a gift with animals, and will do everything she can in order to care for them. I completely understand that people are unhappy with the level of cleanliness, as the appearance of the office is out-dated and there are times when the staff could make more of an effort in cleaning the place, but having your pet seen by Dr. Landin is worth it. I have taken my dog to a number of other veterinary offices, including completely sterile environments where unfortunately the vets were as sterile and unresponsive to animals as their surroundings, and where they misdiagnosed my dog. Tto clarify: I do not have a relationship with Dr. Landin other than that I am a client, and am very pleased with the conscientious care my dog receives.

I adopted a kitten who had been sneezing often it worried me so I decided to take her in to them. When I called I was informed that it would be sixty dollars for an office visit, she then proceeded to ask how old my cat was and how long Id had her. I told her a week and that she was nearly five months old she then told me the visit would be free. When I got there I only waited twenty minutes tops to get brought back, she got a basic temp and weight then sent the doc in. She gave my Daisy a check up and gave her antibiotics for upper respiratory issues all for twenty bucks and done in a little over an hour she also let me know if I brought my older cat in for a check up it would be free due to the possibility of him catching what she mightve had. I have most definitely found my vet.
