I love Petsmart, #1130, their staff is super friendly and ready to help. When it was time for my pets to get their annual exams and rabies vaccines I assumed I could trust the Banfield inside to treat my animal (and myself) with that same compassionate friendly customer service. I made my appointment for two weeks in advance so I could make sure to have the day off. I was called 30 minutes before I left to be told their was an emergency and I would either have to re-schedule. I rescheduled for 5:15 the following day. No big deal right? Wrong, we show up 15 minutes before our appointment hoping to be fill out the required forms and have time for our 8 year old cat to adjust to the exam room. We were greeted by a rude lady who said nothing other then youre early and have a seat. I asked if there were any forms and she said not for now. I tried to explain that I would like to complete the paperwork so he could get into a room and begin to adjust. She simply repeated to take a seat and wait. She then came over and asked for his rabies paperwork to enter it into the computer. Six minutes after we arrived, a second couple comes in with a dog, announces they are late to their appointment and are immediately taken back. Time passing our appointment time goes by and we have now been waiting 25 minutes in the lobby with our 8 year old cat with crying babies, large dogs, and a lot of foot traffic. There are two open rooms this whole time. I went and spoke with a manager of Petsmart who was very helpful to the best of his ability. Let me know their manager was out and would try to see what happened. A nurse then comes out and proceeds to tell me my appointment time...which we already passed. Then asks me 3 times for the sex of the cat, seemingly unable to process the situation. Once taken back in the room the nurse was very polite. She confirmed why we were there and went off to get the doctor. Then came back about 5 minutes later and told us the were out of the rabies vaccines and we would have to make another appointment. This is now 30 minutes after we arrived in the office. We had already had a coupon for a free office visit, she offered to comp our office visit... This made it feel like they were not genuinely concerned with how they treated our cat and were not taking the time to listen to us either. When we asked when their manager would return they had no date to provide roughly two weeks. I am very disappointed in their treatment of my cat and will never recommend anyone risk this type of incompetence with any member of your family. I am very thankful it was only an annual appointment and nothing life threatening.

zero stars... Adopted a 6 month old kitten from Petsmart in October 2016. They did a wellness exam on him and made sure he had all of his shots and was healthy, which went well and he got a clean bill of health. Now he is 2 years old and started acting sick (tired, not his normal self, lost a little bit of weight) and I decided to try a different vet (as Banfield vet treated my very old male cat poorly and left him in a cage in the back for 5 hours before telling me they couldnt treat him-but thats another story). I took my 2 year old guy to the Humane Society well pet clinic (wonderful staff and doctors) and she found a level 4 heart murmur- something she told me should have been diagnosed long ago. Im am saddened that my cat has been dealing with this since birth and Ive had no idea. Now we are facing huge testing/treatment(if there is any) to try and figure this all out. Just havent had the best experience at Banfield and their doctors. The vet techs/and people sitting at the front are wonderful people and have always been very helpful and genuinely seem to care. The doctors however arent my favorite.

Cornered my dog in the back with 5 people, when beforehand I had asked his exam and shots be done in the room with me, then were surprised when a cornered animal growled and snapped. They then proceeded to charge me an extra $50 because they claimed my dog was viscous, however this dog comes to work with me everyday with children all around him with no incident. Literally a 3 year old has a better understanding of animal behavior. I wouldnt recommend this pet hospital to anyone.

My mother just picked up her dog after dropping him off this morning for a teeth cleaning. We just got the dog and bill back and they gave him 4 vaccinations! Vaccinations that she did not request or authorize! She brought him in for a teeth cleaning and they pumped her dog full of chemicals. I am absolutely horrified with this experience! Never again!
